    Parking lot across the street

Great little spot! I popped in for an event, otherwise may never have found myself wandering in, especially given distance from home and the parking situation. Once inside, I chilled at the bar getting some work done over some sips. I ordered a cheese board with Aged White Cheddar and Brie and both were exquisite! They had the perfect kick, leaving me wanting more! I got them with the soft pita bread and honey, which were perfect compliments and a great snack! Be warned about location and parking. It's a little hard to find if you're using navigation apps. Several were wandering around the building until they found the door, which is around the side of the building. There is a parking lot across the street. If you're lucky, you'll smell the deliciousness of the nearby food truck adjacent to the parking lot, playing Reggaeton music outside! Be warned, parking is very expensive. I spent $34 to park for up to 3-6 hours.

This place was awesome. I love the self service wine concept, they had a wonderful selection as well. I went on jazz night and the band was great, I believe it's the last Saturday of every month. Prices are very reasonable I'll be back during the weekday to sample the happy hour!

This is a great self-serve wine bar, I love the concept! There's lots of great seating choices, the service is always good, and the prices are very reasonable. They also have a small menu of food choices. They host a monthly book club that is a lot of fun!

A great little spot away from the downtown crowds. If I lived in the area, I'd be walking there frequently. They host a lot of events to keep people coming back - happy hours, trivia, cards nights, live music, etc. What really keeps thirsty people returning is the self-serve wine machine and rotating options. You don't see a lot of those around town. Its fun to be able to pick and choose small samples instead of committing to one full glass at a time. to In addition, they have craft beers and ciders available too (in cans, no taps). Small light bites menu complements the drinks. Definitely a good happy hour spot if you don't have a large group. Space is precious here, the largest table fits maybe 8 adults. If you're able to remote work, they offer free wifi too. The bar/wine tenders know their wine and each time I've gone have been able to give solid recos based on what I was wanting to drink.

We visited GenuWine with friends to taste the complimentary wine offered by Flying Leap, a local winery from Southern Arizona. My favorite was their Habanero Lux, a unique, semi-spicy red blend infused with fresh Habanero peppers. GenuWine is a trendy, self-serve wine bar in downtown Phoenix, featuring Arizona wines and beers. With their innovative self-serve wine machine, you can choose from 24 different wines in a relaxed setting. You can also purchase the bottle if you like a wine you tried. They also offer a smaller menu for creating personal charcuterie boards so we also enjoyed a board while we were there! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and we will definitely return to try more local Arizona wines!

GenuWine is a cozy place to enjoy a glass of wine. The wine bar has plenty of cozy seats and tables to share a custom cheese board and sip some wine. The wine bar has a line of local Arizona wines and various others. The lady behind the counter gave us a card to insert into the machine and choose a pour. There are three options ranging from a small taste to a full glass. My favorite pour was a red from Arizona's own Caduceus Cellars which is owned by Tool's lead singer. We went on a Saturday night and there was live music out on the small patio. GenuWine also has board games to play with your friends over your glass of wine. Not to mention, you can buy bottles of Arizona wine here!

So excited to have FINALLY made it to GenuWine! I've been following them on social media since they opened but never made the long trip downtown. It definitely lived up to my expectations! I love the self-serve wine option. I was surprised to see a smaller selection of AZ wine than I expected, but I also understand many of the wineries have limitations on production. The wine dispenser machines are separated for white, rosé, and red wine with prices listed depending on ounces poured. Super easy process and great wines available! My husband ended up getting beer when he saw the massive selection of canned beer available. He said the Irish stout he drank was super good. The vibe on a Saturday afternoon was very chill and relaxing. It wasn't too crazy at all and very enjoyable!

Outside on the patio people watching and enjoying jazz band!

Cool concept! Bar allows you to start a tab and they provide you with a wine key card that you can insert into into these wine slots and pick what type of glass you want whether a taste, pour or a glass. In addition, the bar offers create your own cheese boards and other small bites. The wine bar's calendar is full with plenty of options but we decided to attend the jazz night. Staff was super courteous and inviting! There is a small garage where they do validate parking. I had trouble with the machine and one of the staff was kind enough to come out and help me after I needed assistance. This is not far from where I live and I plan to be back!

First time visiting and it was such a great experience! We arrived pretty early on a Monday afternoon so we had the place to ourselves which was great. They explained how everything worked when we got there and it was all very simple. They provide you a card to use at their wine machines and you pour as you please. They have three different pour sizes so you can get a taste of a few or get a full glass of something specific you want. We ordered a few items to eat as well, a cheese board, the spinach dip, marinara flatbread and pretzel balls. All super yummy and great finger food to have with a group of people. They have different events throughout the month which is something to look forward to if you want more of an active setting, for example, they had trivia night when we went but we didn't get to participate since we were on our way out. At the end, you pay with the card you provided them with and you're all set! Will definitely be coming back!

I remember touring the administrative offices, the dining hall, the classrooms, the residence halls, and other random buildings, but the most memorable stop was The Pub, which was rooted in much Thunderbird tradition. Now, years later with a new building in place at ASU, I was delighted to learn that The Pub still exists but in a new space (on the fifth floor). I recently stopped by to see what it looked like and try one of their dishes. In the spirit of Thunderbird, at The Pub, it is said that "global flavors and local charm come together to create an unforgettable dining experience." This is a great place for a meal with co-workers, hosting a gathering for a special celebration, or having a low-key meal. I took a book and gave it a try on my own. The sides include chicken wings, chicken tenders, hummus snack plate, or various ways to prepare fries. They have soup, salad, flatbread, entree bowls, and many burgers and sandwiches. They also have all sorts of drink options (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). It was national root beer float day (or something of the sort), so every burger came with a free root beer float. I jumped at that and got the Thunderbird Pub Burger (seasoned 6oz all beef patty, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, American Cheese, signature pub sauce Brioche Bun, served with Crispy French Fries). It was delicious!! In fact, it was better than delicious when paired with a free root beer float! They have regular hours of noon to 5 PM on weekdays (though they are open until 9 PM on Thursdays. They do have seasonal hours when they close early or entirely when classes are not in session. Happy hour specials are from 3-5 PM daily. While there are many great places to eat at ASU, I certainly recommend The Pub at Thunderbird.

We passed AZ Wilderness and saw how busy they were so we stopped at Greenwood as they were less busy and we had never tried their beer before. My parents prefer IPA's and are tough critics, however, they liked the IPA's so much they bought a pack to take home. I'm not a huge beer drinker so I ordered the seltzer on tap and it was good + refreshing. My husband also ordered the Mango Lassi and loved it. We spoke to the staff member on site who I believe said they've been around for 6 years or so. Greenwood definitely deserves more hype as not only were their beers good but they have cute seating arrangements with an open courtyard. One of the highlights was chatting with Dan, who has been bartending for eight years. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions about the brewing process and the brewery itself. It's clear he enjoys what he does and takes pride in sharing information with customers. I also learned that the brewery was founded by Megan Greenwood, and it's impressive to see how her vision has grown into a well-known local brewery. The brewing operation includes seven tanks, giving visitors a glimpse into the production side of the business. For anyone interested in seeing more behind the scenes, Greenwood Brewing does offer brewery tours. There isn't a set tour schedule, so it's best to ask staff about availability when you visit. One feature I thought was especially cool was the live Instagram follower counter displayed behind the bar. Watching the number update in real time was a fun and unique touch that added to the brewery's modern, community-focused atmosphere. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was engaging, and it was fun getting a closer look at the brewing process while enjoying quality craft beer. A great stop for both locals and visitors looking to support a Phoenix- Women owned brewery. The vibes are chill & semi-loud with music playing in the background. They have seating on both sides of the brewery, outside seating & local restaurants QR codes to order food from. IG: greenwood Brewing
