My newest fav wine bar!! Everyone is so friendly and they are knowledgeable about their wine -- of which they have a lot. It is tucked away in a little strip mall off of Indian School -- the signage is small so I was looking for a minute before I saw the door. Both times I have been here I sat at the little L shaped bar, which I love because you can talk to the bartenders and other folks at the bar. Both times I have been here I met lovely people from France and Argentina -- so there is definitely an international feel which someone mentioned. I can't recall the name of the rose I got the first time i was there but the second time we got an Italian rose -- it was so so flavorful and very citrus forward. The label was so cute too. They also have a wine club which is $50 for two bottles hand curated per month. I might have to join because the regulars were giving it rave reviews and that the wine is always picked to perfection. Also they have good food that pairs very well with their wine! The first time I came my friend and I split the Sympathy for the Deviled Eggs (love the name!!) and the chive cheesecake -- it sounded so interesting I couldn't not get it!! And I was not disappointed it was creamy and delicious!! The second time I was here I got the charcuterie -- it was kind of like build your own, I got a soft cheese -- I can't recall what it was called but it was divine, and it came with some nuts, fruit and crackers. read more

Hidden gem absolutely worth visiting! So many great options - of course wine, but looked like a good variety of beer too if that's more your thing. Also amazing food and snack menu. When I checked this out with my friends, we got a few bottles of wine, played some card games, and snacked on olives, meat and cheeses, and I had the salmon salad which was scrumptious. Really cool hidden gem in Arcadia! It is a smaller space so rather limited seating, but the few times I've visited been lucky enough to snag the little couch area to just hang out and sip on wines. They stock a lot of unique and international wines at varying and approachable price points. They also have a fun collection of games to play and a nice menu of snacks and sandwich items. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with answering questions and offering recommendations. read more

I just love this place! We happened upon it because we take our dog to Dogtopia for daycare but it is a bar and bottle shop that truly feels like a part of a neighborhood. First, let me start by saying I don't like to give small businesses low reviews. I understand the difficulties of running one and don't want to negate anyone's hard work. This place has a lot of potential, however, I have to give this a low rating due to the terrible customer service. I came in in the middle of the day, and was the only customer. What I presume to be the owner and his wife (?) barely acknowledged me, and were busy packaging product and doing inventory. A little unprofessional to be doing it out in the open during business hours, but whatever. I wouldn't have cared that much if the staff were more friendly and welcoming. The woman behind the counter begrudgingly handed me a menu, took my order, then continued doing inventory or packaging in the kitchen. Two words were barely exchanged. I asked for a wine recco based on the meats I ordered, and her response was "I don't know. What do you like?" Like huh? You own a wine business. You would think that for one customer in the entire place they might be a bit more hospitable, but they acted like they couldn't be bothered. I felt like I was there during closing time when they were wrapping up. Not sure if it was an off day, but due to the poor interaction and lack of professionalism I won't be going back. The wine selection seemed nice and I want to support small businesses in the area, but they should be a bit more gracious to those patronizing their business. read more

This place rocks! One of the best wine selections I have seen. Concentrating on small quality producers that you won't see at your big box stores. I highly suggest trying one of their sandwiches such as the Jamon. Great value across the board on wine and food. read more
