Most recently had Nathan over to do camera inspection and he spent all the time listening to me explaining my particular situation. This company does not disappoint. We've been using them for years. All the technicians sent out are very professional and courteous. They are very knowledgeable, and the quality of their work is very commendable. They make suggestions to make our lives less complicated. Do NOT use this company!!! they hire technicians that don't listen, don't know what they are doing. They attempt to sell you parts you don't need. Front desk guy Tyler refused to send me photos of what I asked for, wouldn't put me through to the manager when i was gouged $750 for parts I didn't need. I spelled out my email address and Tyler claimed he didn't have it. He wouldn't put the manager Dave on the phone when I called back multiple times and asked for decent help on account of them being awful to me on the phone. He is absolutely not in charge and shouldn't be speaking to me the way he was at all!!! I experienced Tyler being completely sexist and extremely rude. I need to get the financial mistake reversed. This isn't acceptable whatsoever and should not be tolerated under any circumstance. I was talked over, denied and ignored by the receptionist Tyler, multiple times. Again, I needed to speak to his superior DAVE and he was acting like a complete jerk to me. NO apologies, no compensations, no transfering of the phone to the MANAGER of which he was not. read more

Our water heater stopped working on a Friday night and after a few cold showers and my husband's failed attempts at trying to fix it I suggested we call George Plumbing and Heating to service the water heater. Nelson arrived promptly Monday morning and we were amazed at how quickly he diagnosed and resolved the problem. In addition he identified a bad pressure valve that was causing a water leak. We were charged $80 for a trip charge when they were 1 minute away. $480 each to install two new American Standard one piece toilets that we had bought from Lowes. Less than one month one of the toilets developed a crack from one end of the bolt on the base all the way through out the other end of the bolt. (photos were taken) George Plumbing was called and we were told that they don't warranty someone elses product. But they would come out and install another toilet for $405. Ok I understand where they are coming from but they didn't even come out to look at the toilet! It cost us $1050 to install two toilets with one breaking! Plus the price of two toilets! It looks like the bolt was tightened to tight. Plus we were never given a receipt and debris was left on the floor for us to clean up. I would like to add that the toilets we replaced were also American Standard toilets over 40 years old and had been lifted up to install tile in and put back in place without any issues. We had a second one piece toilet installed by Ed Shobe plumbing who charged us only $180 and NO trip charge. The floor was cleaned before and after the installation. Chris from Ed Shobe plumbing did an excellent job and was in and out quickly. Lowes commented that George Plumbing is extremely high in their prices. We learned the hard way. Never again will we use George Plumbing and will use the private plumbers. After 4 times asking for a receipt I finally sent them a email asking for a receipt. As big as this company is there response and efficiency is horrible. We should have been refunded for not receiving the workmanship that we paid such an outrageous price for. Couldn't rave more highly for the prompt service I received from George Plumbing Heating & Air conditioning. I called them as I noticed I had a leak in my front yard by the faucet as well as moisture going up the outside wall. Enrique came out that same day and was persistent in finding the cause which turned out to be a pressure leak from my water heater. As the outdated water heater was installed in 2007, the recommendation was made to get a new one that would be in line with new safety codes and last longer. Enrique was back the next day to replace my old water heater. I appreciate his friendly professional manner, efficiency with the installation, and not only cleaning up after, but also hauling away the old water heater. Called Georges plumbing to check out and fix gas line to my outdoor kitchen. They had to run a new line to it as there was a leak in the dedicated line going to it. It requirred an experienced gas line plumber to come up with the right way to fix the problem. Was expensive but the guys did a good job. Would recommend them. Dale read more

I just purchased a home that George replumbed 4 years ago. Upon moving in multiple plumbing problems led to my discovery of work not done to code, all PEX pipes are laying on the ground, connections are questionable, pipes are loose ... George Plumbing has terrific PR and came out twice to confirm the replumbing is not to code, they will discuss matters with boss and the employee that performed the work is no longer employed. I waited a week before sending text messages and calling George; receptionist had lot's of positive attitude on the phone, so I waited a few additional days. Next I sent a threatening email and was contacted. George sent 2 technicians who agreed with the code violation and said management would get back to me. Once again no communication for over a week, left several messages. I am only asking for the company to back up their guarantee and fix work they performed. read more

Had 8 valves replaced. Dave was my tech he was training his helper Nick. Both were well dressed, clean, on time, and very polite. I had two toilets and three sinks that needed new water valves installed on. The total was $829.00 out the door and they do take American Express! However, I found that to be a little pricy considering the valves are $10 each at Home Depot, but I am a "do it yourselfer" kind guy without my tools at the moment. I am also the type of guy who always goes with the 5 yelp star review regardless of price! Overall a great experience, I would absolutely use them again. I don't recommend George Plumbing. One of my AC's was not working. George Plumbing said that unlike other companies, they charge $100 for an inspection. They said they charge because they do a more thorough job. Nelson Guerrero showed up and made me pay before he looked at it. He said that yes, my AC was not working. I already knew that. Before going further, he said my AC was 10 years old and should be replaced for appx $8,000. I asked him to actually inspect it and tell me what was wrong. He said the AC unit worked fine, but that there must be a leak. There was no visible leak in the AC unit, and he got in the attic and told me he thought the evaporator may be leaking. He recommended replacing the entire system. He did not inspect the evaporator or identify where the leak was. He was not able to specifically identify the problem, saying that it wasn't necessary because it was 10 years old and should be replaced. So much for a more thorough inspection. My $100 just flew out the window, wasted. Nelson sent me three estimates that ranged from $13,000 to $17,000. For one AC unit! $5k to $9k over the original estimate. After telling me that the AC unit worked fine, not one of the estimates addressed repairing any problems identified, such as a leak in the evaporator, only replacing the entire system. I would not recommend anyone pay them a $100 inspection fee, they literally stole my money. Clearly, they will not be doing any further work at my house. Integrity is such an important thing. read more

We had humming noise coming out of the pipes suddenly. So we called them upon getting recommendations from our neighbors. They told us that the regulator caused it as that regulator was old. By the way my home is just 10 years old. So anyway we changed the regulator by trusting them and it cost us $569. After changing it; they said there is still leaks as he saw the little white triangle in regulator kept constantly moving:(. Now after 2 days the sound came back again and this time it was non-stop and louder. I found out there is water leaking inside 2 of the toilet bowls. They came again and the technician could not find any leaks. My husband showed him the toilet bowls where we saw bubbles inside the tank and water was leaking in toilet bowls. So that's it!!! They changed the flush valves and noise stopped immediately. Cost was $360 this time. So Bad flush valve was the root cause of the humming sound. Now why they just changed the regulator in the first place that cost us $569 ??? That's not a good service at all. Their technician just could not find the root cause till my husband showed him. And they just changed the regulator for no reason and which was not even the root cause. I am very disappointed. read more

We were referred to George's plumbing, from a septic tank pumping company. We needed immediate services, because upon having our septic tank pumped, we realized that our drains were still not clear and we needed someone to snake our main drain line. Unfortunately they were not sure they could make it out that same day as they had many service calls, so they gave us the number of another reputable company. They took down our information just in case they could make it later in the evening in case they couldn't find anyone. We called the company they referred us to, and they did an excellent job. But George's followed up a few hours later to check to make sure we were taken care of. Talk about putting customers first! read more

Had an issue that needed fixing and called George's. It was before hours so reached the answering service who I informed that it wasn't an emergency. They took down my info and someone from the office called me back. Chris came out that same afternoon and took care of the problem. While he was on site we asked for estimates on a few other things. He provided the estimates and we moved forward. Chris performed the new work a few days later and we are pleased. George's communicates well, sends a text with a picture of the plumber so we know who is coming to the door, and calls when on the way to the home. The work wasn't cheap but was well performed. Chris was friendly, kept us well informed of what we was going to do, and wore PPE and covers on his shoes so as not to dirty the floors. We are pleased and will use them again. read more

worst service ever experienced! Called because tankless hot water heater showed an error code indicating a failure to ignite. Tried all the recommended fixes but nothing worked. Called company and was told a service call was $99 to check out issue. No problem. Technician came out and said yes we had a hot water heater. Then asked if it had error codes and what they meant. Said that was it. it was only a service call I assume to verify we had a tankless hot water heater. Said he would have to come back again and "if" he had to open the front panel that was $200 again without d anything. I inquired as to the cost of replacing the igniter and was quoted $550 if I purchased product but he was unable to even check if that was the problem. Completely incompetent and absolutely useless. If the the sink is clogged and you call a plumber out, the last thing you expect is to be told "oh yes, you are correct your sink is clogged, that will be $100 but I will not be doing any work. What an absolute scam. read more

As a repeat customer, I can strongly recommend George Plumbing. We had a sewer stoppage this morning. Nelson arrived within a couple of hours. He diagnosed and fixed the problem promptly. He was very pleasant, explained things thoroughly, and left our home spotless. The bill was reasonable given the amount of work done especially on an emergency basis. As promised, they called 30 minutes prior to arriving, having promised a 10am-1PM arrival, they called at 11 and arrived at 11:30. Dave introduced himself, although I already knew what he looked like from the email the company sent out that morning with him info and confirming the appointment. He quickly diagnosed the two items, repaired them, tested again to confirm it was all taken care of, and we were done. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! We used to use GP several years ago for most of our plumbing needs, however when we caught them billing us for work not done, we questioned them. They corrected the problem but I received a call from one of their employees who proceeded to cuss me out on the phone claiming he "did the work", it only ended when I pointed out to him that we had 28+ security cameras on the property and we had video proof of the fraud. Today we found that we had a mainline back up so I decided to give GEORGE'S another chance to redeem themselves and gave them a call. My call was transferred to "JOEL" and after getting hung up on twice, I finally was able to explain the problem we had here at the complex, as well request a tech come out and clear the main line ASAP. first I was told (all by Joel); "we dont service new accounts until billing is set up", So I informed him that COD wouldn't be a problem (we have the funds available in a $40,000 credit card). He the hung up on me again.... After calling him back and reminding him that he never took my phone number/address, you could tell he didn't want our business. It would of been more professional if Joel just said no thank you in the first place, so that i didn't waste 30 minutes of my time trying to deal with this EMERGENCY. I purchased a short-sale condo in RB last september and as is usually the case with short-sales, the residence was in need of some repair. The second bathroom shower didn't flow for starters. George Plumbing was on a list of providers my real estate agent provided so I thought I would give them a call and I'm glad I did. They were out to do the repairs in short order and the price was fair. I noticed while they were out that they also did Heating and AC and since that wasn't working either I ask for a quote and got it emailed to me promptly. The water-heater in the unit was also 26 years old and in desprate need of replacement. I got a quote for everything but before we could start work the water-heater decided to spring a leak. Since its a second floor unit time was of the escense in getting someone out and George Plumbing was on the spot. I had George Plumbing out to my home four times. The technicians were professional and great. Their pricing of late, however, is terrible. I had them out to unclog a drain - the same drain they did a year before - and they almost doubled their price and didn't even tell me. I paid $125 for a 15 minute drain clean-out the first time (which is still too much), but the next time they charged me $195! For a unclog job that had an external clean-out access!! I realize I should have asked for a estimate before they got started, but I really didn't expect to be ripped off from a supposedly reputable company. read more

They were professional, on time, and even called ahead to let me know the technician was on his way and how long it should be before I could expect him at my office. You know how when you finally get a Doctor or Dentist you like and trust you won't go anywhere else even if you have travel further than if you used a local Doctor or Dentist. That's how I feel about George Plumbing in Temecula. Our plumber of choice is James. I completely trust his judgement and his work is always quality. Our water heater just went out and he was up front and told me to buy a new one because of the age of our water heater. but he couldn't install it that day so I opted to have the pilot replaced and will live the old water heater until this fall. I failed to mention I waited 2 days for our appointment because I just didn't want anyone else to service our water heater even though Georges had other plumbers available who are probably just as capable but as I said once you find trust in a individual your willing to wait. read more

We have used George Plumbing several times now over the last five years, both for urgent issues (backed up kitchen sink, for example - on an approaching holiday) and for non-urgent repairs. Every time they have been extremely responsive, prompt, courteous, thorough, communicative, and they do good quality work. Plus their pricing is reasonable. I also really appreciate that they make recommendatoins to consider for preventative measures, but they do not try to push or "sell" anything. They seem very customer service oriented. I am usually wary of plumbing companies. But not George Plumbing. I will always call on them first for our plumbing needs. I recommend them highly. read more

Very impressed with James. He fixed a leaky valve on the City side of the meter and added a new ball valve in the garage. My old valve in the garage was broken (no way to turn off the water with this valve) so it was replaced. This is a much better way to turn on/off the water than the valve along the sidewalk. The valve on the sidewalk required a lot of torque to shut off which caused the leak. Now the new valve in the garage is so simple to use. The work was very efficient and professional. James is awesome!! I highly recommend him to everyone especially if your air heating system is combined with the water furnace that was what builder did for my condo. I had 3 technicians from other companies came to check up before James did, none of them really sure what was the exactly problem, one of the guys said they might need to open the dry wall to fix it, another tried to replaced few parts but didn't make it work .... It's so frustrated ...
