This one pound mozzarella stick definitely fulfilled that criteria. It was so gigantic it was almost like getting a workout in just to lift it. The outside was heavily breaded with bread crumbs and the top was sprinkled with parmesan cheese and chopped scallions. Even the dipping cup was supersized to accommodate the diameter of the stick! Typically, I would have posted until after my I finished my oversized food compilation project. However, it's being posted early because The Brookdale is permanently closing its doors. Service was good and the restaurant with low lighting was a good vibe! Its split into a half bar and half dining area which i liked. Only complaint i can think of is they didnt have many options of beer on tap as they advertised on thier menu. Overall good experience would recommend!

They have indoor and outdoor seating. The place always has a cool indoor and outdoor vibe! The patio seating has colorful umbrellas on the ceiling. Please check out my video. It was such a beautiful day we had wanted to eat outside. Outside seating was packed. However, the manager brought a table out to the patio for us. Talk about excellent customer service! We had a delicious meal: Banana French Toast and a Pernil Benedict along with a Coconut Mojito and Cosmo. During our visit, the server kept coming around filling everyone's glasses with water. Besides HH & Dinner, Sonoma Bistro & Grill is great for brunch!

Both were prepared to perfection. Eggs we ordered on the side were both cooked exactly as requested and the bacon was on point. Topping it all off was the service. Our server, Julio, was an absolute gem. He ran around ensuring everyone in his seating area was attended to. He pre bussed all the tables discreetly to only interrupt the conversations. Our coffee cups were never less than half full. The icing on the cake was his personality. He was so engaging and made small talk that left us with a smile. We dove in and I never took pics of what we were served, a shame, as it was so nicely prepared and looked like it should be on the menu as the sample photo.
