We found this place on yelp and has decent hope of the food and service. We ordered starvin Marvin, smashed burger, and mangu sliders. Starvin Marvin was very subpar, the potatoes were deep fried and too tough, French toast was bad no taste (some burnt, some under cooked), syrup was standard store bought, over easy eggs were oily and for $21, this plate was a dissapoinment. The mangu slider was delicious, I guess it's their speciality in this place as most guests ordered this dish. We ordered two coffees, with cream and sugar but came without any spoon, so we used dining fork. No one offer the refill when the cups were empty (but they charge $4 for bottomless coffee), so you had to flag them. They have many staff working for the size of the place but they seemed to have very inexperience servers, despite they are nice and courteous. I am still eating, they cleared all other plates. My husband was drinking the coffee, they took away the saucer. I think they need to train the staff for better service especially your price is on the higher side for breakfast. For reference, I didn't eat here but I like trying out the coffee selection at cafes and brunch restaurants. From speaking to the hostess she was kind (probably in high school/ early college age) and I just asked if I can walk in to order at the front. Before she let me in, there was another couple ahead of me waiting to be seated. The hostess did let them know the few open tables they had were reserved already so there maybe a 15-20 min wait till another table was ready. The male shift manager came out to assess the situation and was ultimately rude to his own employee telling her to sit the couple regardless if the tables had reservations in the next hour. His attitude was not pleasant and the reason I bring up the hostess's age was because all the front staff on that Sunday seemed to be a bunch of younger women (seems to me he thinks he can just boss them around). I tried both their coquito and tres leches ice lattes and all I have to say is WAY TOO SWEET. Didn't taste any coffee whatsoever and it was just overbearingly sweet for $8-9. Our son reserved a private room for 15 guests to celebrate after his wedding ceremony. The reservation had been made well in advance and confirmed multiple times with management. When we arrived after the ceremony, the manager on duty claimed he had no knowledge of the reservation and suggested we must have the wrong location. Even after being shown the confirmation, he offered no explanation. Once the wedding party arrived, he realized the mistake and asked for 20 minutes to prepare the room. That 20 minutes turned into nearly an hour. Fifteen formally dressed guests, including the bride and groom, were left standing outside in 90-degree heat waiting for a room that should have been ready before we arrived. When we were finally brought to the "private room," it appeared to be a hastily assembled space with tables and chairs thrown together and covered with tablecloths. It looked more like a storage area than a venue prepared for a wedding celebration. The setup was incomplete, with missing plates, utensils, napkins, and even serving utensils for the food. Service throughout the event was virtually nonexistent. To make matters worse, the food served to our group was bland, basic, and completely underwhelming for what was supposed to be a special occasion. Guests dining in the main restaurant appeared to be receiving far more appealing meals than what was provided to our private party. Mistakes happen. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of urgency, professionalism, or effort to make things right. No meaningful apology, no accommodation (they did reduce the bill after we addressed it with them ourselves) but even that reduction really should have been much more because mult guests left before they ate as it was a mid week wedding and they had limited time and there were also children in attendance), and no attempt to salvage what should have been a memorable first meal for a newly married couple and their families. This was an embarrassing and unacceptable experience. A wedding reception reservation is not something a restaurant should simply forget. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this establishment. read more

The decor is really nice. I ordered the breakfast burrito. The first half was pretty eh but the second half was good. The avocado happened to only be in the second half the burrito & it made it so much better. I added some cholula and it was . My partner had the meat lover's omelette. We shared a side of pancakes. The pancakes were average; not bad but also nothing special. I would return & would like to try something different. They have a wide variety of items on their menu. The service was great. After hearing about Summer and Autumn cafe a couple months ago, I decided to visit it with a couple friends as a pre-American Dream mall activity. The cafe seemed like the closest brunch option to the mall. We got there around 10 am on a Saturday morning and the first thing we noticed was the lack of parking. Only street parking is available, so be prepared to parallel park. The cafe itself is a bit small and cramped, but not busy enough for there to be a wait. We were interestingly each given bottled water with a mason jar, ice, and a straw for our beverage. The menu seemed a bit limited with items that were not too unique. Regardless, we ordered the 2 eggs any way, AJ's omelette, and chicken sandwich. My eggs were properly cooked as I had requested, and I enjoyed how my toast resembled garlic bread with a garlic spread. We did enjoy the potatoes and the fries served with our meal, as they were adequately seasoned and nicely crispy. However, my friend requested that his chicken sandwich not have tomatoes, but tomatoes were still included within his sandwich. Interestingly enough, our waitress actually came back to confirm that buffalo sauce was alright with him before proceeding with the order. Overall, Summer and Autumn cafe got the job done, but we found our meal to be lackluster compared to other brunch places in the area. The bacon however had to be sent back even though we requested they be well done. They were prompt with service. The coffee didn't taste like it had caramel, tasted more like hazelnut instead. Wouldn't purchase again. Pancakes were very dry, no flavor as well. Syrup was absorbed and didn't help somehow. Sausage, bacon, and potatoes were still fine on their own. Cheese eggs were a must purchase, very flavorful. Overall our experience was bad but maybe it varies, service was solid, food was okay, the wait was pretty bad. The food was good but the price was even better - it was one of the most affordable brunches I've ever gone to! The decor was also quite cute. The only issue I had was how delayed we were in getting seated. We had an 11:30 reservation for a party of 5 and were not seated until close to 11:50 because they did not prepare the tables correctly. They asked us to come back in 10 minutes, at 11:40, but then we had to wait for an additional 10 min because they still had not set up. The tables were shaky but the manager or owner came up and personally apologized for it. I would go back, but with a smaller party. The orange juice was very fresh and my cafe latte hit the spot. The creaminess of the whipped cream allowed me to enjoy every drop without adding sugar. Very good and highly recommended. Our entrees were delicious. The omelet was sprinkled with just the right amount of pepper, that it didn't need any other condiment. The pancakes were fluffy, flavorful, and the fruit was fresh. Found this on our way upstate for a late day hike. The chicken and waffle sliders came with 2 which I wouldn't have been able to eat alone. Each slider came with a waffle, chicken, waffle, and chicken. I had to deconstruct and cut it up. The waffle was fluffy. The chicken was my favorite part.
