When I brought it back, they tried to blame "road conditions" and the age of the vehicle -- excuses that don't hold up for anyone who actually drives these roads. If they treat a Veteran this way, dismissing clear safety issues instead of owning their mistake, I worry about how they're treating other Veterans, seniors, and families who rely on honest service. First two times we only needed to have a title and picture ID and proof of insurance to get the vehicle from tow yard. This last time the rules changed and they needed a valid drivers license title and proof of insurance. We have not been able to register the vehicle as of yet because the local law enforcement continually tows the car illegally even though it has proof of insurance and moving permits as we have been in the process of fixing a check engine light on the sensors. With all the money and spent on towing costs over 1300.00 we could have had the car insured for another 6 months smogged and registered by now. BBB is going to have the complaint now. Hopefully all these fake 5 star reviews will start to diminish as their company certainly deserves to fail based on practices like this alone.

He told me I had no appointment scheduled. Strike 1, I informed I drove a very long way because had Meinke in BC before. He told me there were 3 cars ahead of me. And I was looking the oil change would be complete around 1pm. I explained I am dog sitting a 15 year old dog and that is why I made the appt. He also told me I would have to pay 65.00 plus tax for the oil change. I told him what the lady quoted me. With tax included. Strike 2. My car was done by 1015 am I paid for it signed a document and started to leave he said the key was in the ignition. Then he wait. I turned and he came in with the door to my cap broken off. He it broke off during the servicing. Well that a lie. I said what we're doing with the gas ? It was a simple oil change? He said it part of the service. Well that's a lie. And he said if I get the part he will install it for free. I said there there was nothing wrong with my gas cap door before. He handed me the broken gas cap cover and proceeded to talk me it fell off. It was clearly snapped off. I have pictures. I spent so much time dealing with this problem I had to go back to where I was dog sitting. When I got back to the dog I called Meineke customer service. I spoke to Ludy. I filed a complaint and I wanted this repaired at no charge for parts and labor. This is not my fault. I've never had this happen before. As of today Monday no one has contacted me from corp or district office. I need this resolved immediately. I will never use Meinke again. Not ever. The manager lied for his employee. Did not offer anything except not charge me if I bought a new part. On my car that was not broken in the first place. NEVER EVER Go here they are liars and thieves. I am a senior on a very strict income. I have photos of the damage. I am zero position to be able to get this fixed when it wasn't broken in the first place. First, I called the number provided and nobody answered. No biggie, I left a message on the obvious Google Voice system, it's been 48 hours and I'm still waiting for that call to be answered so I'm guessing nobody monitors that number. After I called, I took the time to fill out a detailed "request a quote" form and provided exceptional information to the respondant to save them time and effort if possible. I did receive follow up message where I described my issue in depth, I provided my availability and my general location and was told that I would be notified of appointment availability. Long story short, 18 hours of silence from the company led me to take my vehicle to a local shop and get my vehicle serviced. Almost 48 hours after requesting a quote I STILL haven't been offered an appointment. I guess it's probably a good thing that I'm not stranded beside the road waiting, I'd probably be carjacked by now. Not saying the dude doesn't do good work, but you must need to be special to get respect of an appointment or at least enough courtesy to decline the work because you don't have time.

He can change batteries, struts, starters, COOLING systems, alternators, etc. His pricing was competitive but what was really awesome was that I didn't have to plan my day around getting to an auto shop to drop my car off, get a ride to work, wait, wait, wait and then get a ride back to the shop. Kenny was a really nice guy who changed out the little battery to my Prius with another new Toyota battery. All done in less than an hour and I was able to keep working at my job and eat lunch.
