But Eric's cohort (didn't catch his name-my bad) swapped the damaged tire for our spare and had us back on the road in 15 minutes. Terrific customer service by both gentlemen. I go to Lake Mead four to five times a year, and I have had, on occasion, vehicle issues of one sort or the other. These two definitely earned all future business and any referrals I can give. He told me I had no appointment scheduled. Strike 1, I informed I drove a very long way because had Meinke in BC before. He told me there were 3 cars ahead of me. And I was looking the oil change would be complete around 1pm. I explained I am dog sitting a 15 year old dog and that is why I made the appt. He also told me I would have to pay 65.00 plus tax for the oil change. I told him what the lady quoted me. With tax included. Strike 2. My car was done by 1015 am I paid for it signed a document and started to leave he said the key was in the ignition. Then he wait. I turned and he came in with the door to my cap broken off. He it broke off during the servicing. Well that a lie. I said what we're doing with the gas ? It was a simple oil change? He said it part of the service. Well that's a lie. And he said if I get the part he will install it for free. I said there there was nothing wrong with my gas cap door before. He handed me the broken gas cap cover and proceeded to talk me it fell off. It was clearly snapped off. I have pictures. I spent so much time dealing with this problem I had to go back to where I was dog sitting. When I got back to the dog I called Meineke customer service. I spoke to Ludy. I filed a complaint and I wanted this repaired at no charge for parts and labor. This is not my fault. I've never had this happen before. As of today Monday no one has contacted me from corp or district office. I need this resolved immediately. I will never use Meinke again. Not ever. The manager lied for his employee. Did not offer anything except not charge me if I bought a new part. On my car that was not broken in the first place. NEVER EVER Go here they are liars and thieves. I am a senior on a very strict income. I have photos of the damage. I am zero position to be able to get this fixed when it wasn't broken in the first place. I'm afraid to go anywhere to park my car because could steal my gas in the car. This ELDER ABUSE . This is on NOT me. Shame on you Meinke the worst customer service ever. I cannot believe you have someone that works for you that lied. I would think you would be in a better corporate position to not hire a liar to cover for your employee. It didn't fall off he snapped it off. The pictures will prove that. Now since no one has called it's time for action. If someone doesn't call me by end of business today. avoid this place, they are scammers. i brought my car in and left it to have a misfire fixed. later…read morethe boss called my phone with a really bad angry attitude and told me they had to replace a more or less nonsense item (trust me) for $260. i returned to the shop and the boss still had a very hostile and unprofessional attitude like he was trying to muscle his way into scamming me and making me believe lies and gibberish. he brought me to the mechanic to see something then left the area. i talked to the mechanic for a while, he did alot of fast talking and said alot of important sounding stuff i assume in an attempt to confuse me. the mechanic said if he replaced the nonsense parts then the misfire would be fixed. it didnt fix the problem and fortunately i was watching his computer as it logged the new misfires after he had replaced the parts. the boss approached me and he seemed to be furious that i was watching the computer log misfires. he was very aggressive and intimidating, seemingly trying to convice me that it was my fault that they didnt fix the misfire or something. he was furious and saying that i was distracting the mechanic and basically yelled at me to get out of the shop that he originally led me into so that the mechanic could work, and scam me better i assume. then i waited outside until they brought my vehicle out saying that they wouldnt fix it because i didnt want to pay, though i had told them that even if its a simple 10 minute repair i would still pay them for the 2 hours of labor that they originally quoted. fortunately they had put the old parts back and i didnt pay anything. then i left the place and checked my engine bay and found that they had broken my plastic engine cover so that it doesnt attach securely anymore, and left the plastic evap system hose disconnected and pressed up against the hot engine, it seems like it may have melted slightly, i dont remember what it looked like before. i called them and asked if they would fix it, the boss was furious and hung up on me. i called again, the mechanic answered and repeatedly denied that they broke anything and kept saying alot of what i describe basically as fast talking gibberish, i assume it was in an effort to cause me to be unable to speak or to confuse me. its possible that they could have just been very unskilled and embarrassed about being unable to fix and about breaking my car, but whether that is the situation or not: the c-mor performance guys are crooks and i recommend staying far away from them.
