After carefully evaluating my car, Pete indicated that my motor mounts were not broken...SAVED me 1000's of dollars! instead, Pete took e for a drive in my car and said it was the Gas that I was using that was causing the car's vibration...NOT THE MOTOR MOUNTS which CAdillac was trying to charge me 1400.00 for! I let them do my front and rear brakes and the car has never ran better! Runs like a new car and it's a 2014 Cadillac CTS. Warning to the Wise: DO NOT TRUST DELERSHIPS! THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER AND COST YOU A LOT OF MONEY FOR UNNECESSARY REAPAIRS. Instead take your car to Pete at NATIONWIDE SAFETY BRAKES & ALLIGNMENT. I took my car in at 8:00 a.m. and Pete completed all necessary repairs in 2 hours! Ask for Pete or Brenda. Incidentally Brenda was awesome as well. He had an attitude that was enough to make me run the opposite direction. He was rude and dismissive. In all my years of dealing with automotive shops, I have never encountered someone with such poor customer service. There's a lot of competition in this industry, and finding a trusted mechanic is important to me. When I find a good shop, I'm loyal for life and I recommend them to everyone I know. But this experience? Absolutely not. If this is how they treat someone who is willing to pay for their services, it speaks volumes about their overall character. I've worked in customer service my entire life, and I firmly believe it's not always what you say -- it's how you say it. His condescending attitude was completely unnecessary and honestly disgusting. If you don't want to deal with customers, then get out of the customer service field. Simple as that. I accepted that the part wasn't going to arrive today because it's already late in the day, but he made it happen! His amazing wife, whom I got the chance to chat with, when I came for service months back is actually picking it up and bringing the part to him! I can't express my gratitude enough, so I'm writing this review! He is a genuine mechanic and knows what he is doing. Prices are reasonable and not overly ridiculous for labor. We have to say our experience at Sansone's was top-notch--second to none. Given our past experiences with less trustworthy auto repair shops in the area, we were initially cautious. Eric was exceptional from the intake process through diagnosis, communication regarding our warranty coverage, and clearly explaining his findings. His professionalism, integrity, and honesty came through clearly, even over the phone. What also impressed us was their follow-up call seven days later to check whether everything was running smoothly with our Dodge Journey. This level of care and customer service was both refreshing and greatly appreciated. And, they never quoted me a price before the work (for the filter change), or I would certainly not have approved it. I had other work done in the same visit, and they very clearly told me the prices--just not for the filter. They also gave me a $7000 estimate for more "recommended" work, but I'll be looking elsewhere based on their suspect pricing. They can keep my $140, but I won't be back. And I'll be sure to change my own cabin filter in the future.

Independent shops are usually reliable as they live and die by their reputation, but often times they can be hit and miss. I can only speak from my experience but I can report to you that Dave's Auto Repair is the real deal. The shop is owned and run by Armando and his family (Armando bought it from Tim, the former owner, and Dave used to run the shop). Armando knows cars, and more importantly, he knows how to treat people right. His prices were competitive or better than other quotes I got, and he didn't try to upsell me on unneccesary repairs. He did give me a heads up on a few things to keep an eye on, which I appreciated, and he even threw in a few freebies which was unexpected and much appreciated. What's also nice is that most independent shops are only open M-F but Dave's is also open on Saturdays, which makes it convenient for those with work/school during the week. I'm very happy with my experience at Dave's and it gives me piece of mind knowing that I have a great mechanic I can take my car(s) to from now on.

I had an amazing experience with Sonny's Auto Repair. I brought in my 2014 Ford F-150 due to…read moretransmission issues, and from start to finish, they went above and beyond anything I expected. Not only did they diagnose and fix the transmission problem, but they also discovered other issues I had no idea about. They took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me so I understood exactly what was going on with my truck. What really stood out was their communication. They kept me updated the entire time--whether it was parts being ordered, delays in delivery, or progress on the repairs. I was never left wondering what was happening, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. They even provided pictures showing the damaged parts side by side with the new ones, which really showed their transparency and attention to detail. On top of that, they made sure to test drive the truck to confirm everything was running smoothly before handing it back to me. They also stepped in and corrected a mistake made by my warranty parts vendor, which could have easily turned into a much bigger headache. That level of honesty and dedication is hard to find. My girlfriend came to this shop with a fuel level sensor issue (the little floaty thingy in the gas tank that tells your car how much fuel you have), code p0463, which is a fairly inexpensive fix. They quoted her $650 for a new fuel pump, $50 for a fuel pump seal, and $175 in labor. Came out to $1000-$1100 after taxes and the diagnostic fee. Not only were they trying to give her the most expensive fix possible, they were egregiously ripping her off for a fuel pump (as cheap as $200 third party). . To top things off, all it took to fix it in the driveway was buying a replacement fuel sending unit ($80) and watching a youtube video to replace it. If they were honest and just fixed that, I wouldn't have to be writing this review. . Even if we decided to replace the entire fuel pump, after doing a bunch of research online, the cost of replacing a fuel pump for this model of car should never be the close to $1100 she was quoted. . Now with all the great reviews this place has, I'm sure we just got unlucky with a bad apple of a technician. But please, please be careful as they seemingly tried to take advantage of my girlfriend who doesnt know anything about cars. GET A SECOND OPINION!
