I'm a 100% Disabled Vietnam Veteran, and after a repair here, my truck immediately developed loose steering, spongy brakes, and drift, something it never had before. When I brought it back, they tried to blame "road conditions" and the age of the vehicle -- excuses that don't hold up for anyone who actually drives these roads. If they treat a Veteran this way, dismissing clear safety issues instead of owning their mistake, I worry about how they're treating other Veterans, seniors, and families who rely on honest service. I had brought my car in for a new tire. I purchased 2 tires. They claimed they had time right then to do it. After about 75 minutes they came to the lobby where I was waiting and asked if I had the lug lock key for my lugs on the tire. They hadn't started the tire change yet. I went out to my car to look for the key and saw my hood was open. I'm not sure why they would have my hood open when I was there ONLY for a tire change. When I told them I didn't have the key they said they don't have one. I'm not sure how a tire shop doesn't have a master key. I had to drive my car to the dealership to have them removed and then drive back to the location. They eventually got the tires changed. I had to drive to Arizona as soon as I left and the car stopped on the way there with a warning light flashing saying "check hybrid system. Stop safely." The car immediately slowed itself. When I pulled over I had to push the battery discharge button and start again. This happened 4 times in a 2 hour drive. This has NEVER happened before and I have owned the car for almost 2 years (car was brand new). I'm not sure what was done under the hood but it screwed something up and I'm not thrilled. I would not come here. Also while we were here a man came in saying they out 6 miles on his car while he asked for an alignment. The manager claimed they "take it for a drive after to check alignment." I'm not sure that warrants 6 miles nor was the owner of the car sure or pleased with that. read more

It's the worst tire and repair shop ever. I went to their website, and picked out a set of off-road tires, for my truck. I then called them to verify the price, which was about 1100 for 4 and made the appointment. When I got there the guy talked me into switching, for less money to the Firestone brand, and better yet the savings were about 150 dollars. I was happy. The trouble started on my next appointment, about 2 weeks later, I went in for a 60-dollar oil change, and they charged me 95 dollars. I found out later they didn't do any of the service that was supposed to come with this, as I got stranded on the side of the road with a bad battery. On top of that, several weeks later I went to do an air check on my new tires and found out the tires WERE NOT OFF-ROAD tires. Pass on this place read more

A little backstory first, back in 2018 my fiancé took her vehicle in for brake service and the technician had crossed threaded one of the lug nuts with the impact gun and broke the stud in the process. Firestone had admitted fault and ordered a new wheel stud and installed it free of charge. Since they did right with us back then, we decided to return in 2024 and give them another shot at performing the brake service. Fast forward to the present, spoke with a very professional service manager named Ken Coyne over the phone and scheduled an appointment for Saturday to preform another front brake service. We arrived to the store the next day and were greeted by the store manager Joey Thompson since Ken was not present. Right away my fiancé and I had a bad feeling regarding him as his demeanor was that of an upselling salesman that was hopped up on 5 cups of coffee with 2 Red Bulls as chasers while humming the McDonald's theme song jingle. Not pleasant to say the least. In any event, we handed the keys over to him and he advised us it should take a couple of hours. Approx 30 mins later Joey calls back and states all the wheels are off and reverifies that the front brakes need replacing along with a laundry list of other upsells including brake fluid exchange. I kindly declined the upsells and agreed on the front brake and rear drum adjustment. An hour later Joey calls back and says they broke one of the wheel studs off yet again and I would need to spend 600 on a new hub assembly since he tried to hammer in a new stud, who even knows if it was the correct sized stud, which they failed in doing so therefore damaging the existing hub. I explained to him that I didn't feel like I should pay 600 dollars for a mistake they did twice since the last time they serviced our vehicle. Joey then proceeds to tell me we can just pick up the car with the missing wheel stud and drive away! Are you kidding me?! I told him this is a potential safety risk caused by your shop's negligence. Joey then tells me he'll try again to put the stud back into the hub. Roughly an hour later, Joey calls again stating "I must have magician technicians since we were able to put the stud back into the hub" How convenient...Since I have an auto technician background, I asked if I could go in the bay and inspect the work with a technician since this is a big safety concern and I wanted to make sure it was done correctly and not just jerry rigged together. Joey then says in an annoyed tone, "I'm not taking everything apart again just to show you, I said it was safe and that's it!" This coming from a person that was ready to hand over the keys with a missing wheel stud! lol I advised Joey over the phone that I will be contacting the owner and corporate about this issue, Joey then states he will also contact them. About 20 mins later we arrive at the shop and I walk over to our vehicle and see the new lug nut on the front right wheel where the stud was replaced. We proceed to walk inside and pay for the brake service. Joey tells me things happen and that's the way they go. I told him it wasn't that things just happen, it was the way you wanted to charge me 600 dollars for a hub that was completely your fault and was willing to let us drive off with a missing hub stud causing a potential safety risk. He then tells me these wheel studs break all the time. I told him they sure do both times at your shop lol! What are the odds? He then tells me that's the thanks I get for not charging you for the brakes, which I never suggested. Paying for the brakes was never an issue! Paying 600 dollars for a potential new hub caused by your mistake was. He then had the audacity to write on the service invoice notes section in all caps "CAREFUL WITH THIS GUY HE WANTS EVERYTHING FREE" Unbelievable!! I didn't want this for free, I had no problem paying for the services rendered. I have a feeling he lied to corporate to save his own hide and to remain in good standings with the Customer Survey Inquiries which every shop lives or dies by. The only thing we wanted was him to be accountable for his own actions and to prevent this sought of thing happening to other people creating a safety risk. I went in for an oil change and nothing else! I knew I needed a new battery eventually so I purchased one after they recommended me doing so. So far so good. But the assholes did a bunch of other things that they were not asked to do or authorized to do. And instead preformed the maintenance without even asking my permission while I was sitting in their waiting room. What balls! I will never use these jackasses again, except to make them repair the damage they did while I was in their shop today. IF ABLE I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THEM ZERO STARS. I will be filing a complaint with the attorney general about this! BY DOING WHAT THEY DID FIRESTONE ENDANGERED MY LIFE! This will not be tolerated! I was told because it has over 60K miles on it, I need to go to a transmission specialty mechanic or the dealership. How do you do a 100K mile service on a vehicle then? Had an oil change appointment set for 10:30 AM when arrived, Went through normal tasks. Got vin got license plate number make model and mileage then went inside. I asked approximate time when vehicle would be done. They said two hours. I had a 5pm appointment to get 4 new tires on my travel trailer. I got here at 4:50. It is now 6:30, and they just started to work on it. My gut, 10 minutes ago was to ask for a refund and walk away. As I was about to, they started.... I'm very frustrated. I'm sure they will do a good job with the tire, but I don't want to make another appointment elsewhere and drag the trailer into another cramped space. My wife and I were returning to Tucson from a trip to Seattle. Just outside of Boulder City our tire lost pressure because of a hole in the sidewall, and we were recommended to go to Firestone. Our car is equipped with an unusual size tire so were were a little apprehensive. They found the tires we needed, actually went a picked them up and had them changed out, and installed within a few hours. While we waited they recommended a few restaurants within easy walking distance, so we were able to get an excellent lunch as well. Ordered my new tires online at Tire Rack because I wasn't prepared to spend almost $900 for them everywhere else. You choose where you want the tires shipped to be mounted on your vehicle when you purchase them and this Firestone is the only place in Boulder City to choose from. I called and spoke to Casey before I ordered the tires to confirm the cost and find out how it all worked. He took my mobile number and said he'd text me when they arrived so I could bring in my car for the new tires. So I received an email that they had shipped and should arrive on the following Monday which was super fast. When I hadn't heard anything by Wednesday I called Firestone and spoke to a man who checked and said yes they had arrived in Monday and he had no answer as to why I hadn't been contacted as discussed with the "other manager" Casey. I scheduled the tires to be installed the following morning at 9am and my husband drove the car to Firestone. I told him to ask how quickly this would be done and if it was going to take more than a half hour I'd have my daughter pick him up. Two hours later he still wasn't home so I called him and he said he'd just left and was heading home. He was frazzled and frustrated and said they kept telling him it was going to be soon and then just stalling him. When he finally was just over it he walked out to the work area and they pointed out a list of stuff that needed to be fixed on the car to the tune of over a thousand dollars! He told them to just put the tires on the car so he could get the hell out of there after waiting two hours. The first time I had a power steering leak and they worked with my Carmax warranty to get it repaired at no cost to me except my deductible. I had my truck in to upgrade tires to a larger size. I asked twice for my NEW tires off of my truck to be placed into the bed of my truck when removed. I had not checked prior to leaving, when I check at 5am the following morning. When I realized my NEW tires were not in the bed of my truck. I of course, was furious. I had called the store first thing that morning and Chris the store manager admitted fault and told me "your tires have been picked up by the truck." You need to go find a used set of tires buy them and we will pay you for them". When I found a set I was satisfied with Chris told me" my corporation will not allow me to pay that much". This had cost me money to find the tires, have them delivered for Chris to approve. Chris refused to purchase the tires as he stated. I truly believe he is a BOLD FACE LIAR, I have called the corporate office number several times and was told I would receive a call from Brandon. Brandon offered me $50 for a NEW set of tires. Again, I called corporate and they again said somebody would call me within 48 hours, this was five days ago and I still have NO solution and still without my NEW tires they took nor a resolution. This store is not a place I would recommend after this experience, being blown off numerous times and NO solution to Chris's big mistake Chris is not management material and is incapable of minor tasks. I didn't mention that Daniel at there corporate office, Has yet to return my call. You removed new tires from my truck and refuse to satisfy me, by offering me $55 primewell tires that are not a truck tire. The tires you took from me were Wrangler LT tires priced well over $55 each. BUYER BEWARE!! This company is out for the money and can careless about customer satisfaction. read more

Firestone has been taking care of our cars for several years. The Horizon Ridge shop was very close to our house and when we moved to Boulder City we still took the short drive to Henderson for oil changes. This summer, we were happy to see a new Firestone store opened at the old Big O location. We discovered that not only does Firestone sell tires and do oil changes, this location has first rate auto repair. We are a two Lexus, one Scion family and they have been very helpful with repair and maintenance on our cars. Their courtesy is superior, the prices are very fair, and their knowledge is expert. My wife and daughter feel very comfortable in the store and are confident in their knowledge and service. read more

We had an Enterprise rental car with a screw in the tire...Firestone has a contract with Enterprise so they fixed the tire quickly and with nothing from me but my name and address. I ended my workday on a Friday with a warning light on my car. It was a problem with one of my back tires. I drove to Firestone where I was greeted with a warm friendly welcome. They checked the tire which was registered at zero pressure. The serviceman told me I was lucky as I had run flats and that I was able to get safely off the road. They had to jack the car up so they could locate the piece of metal in the tire. He was able to repair it without charge as it was one of their tires. The car was pulled to the side of the building for me to pick up. The serviceman was kind enough to be sure to tell me thank you and to have a nice evening. read more
