This company is so awful that I am here to write a brand new review to talk about how awful they are. I ordered 2 awnings and 8 months later I got one which fell down because it wasn't even installed correctly. After reading the other reviews I feel very blessed to have gotten my money back for the awning I never received. There is another dealer in the area called By His Hands, LLC. I finally called them to ask if it was normal that it was this hard to get my awning. He called Sunsetter and they confirmed my second (larger) awning was never ordered. They removed Georgetown Awning as a dealer from their website and paid the installation of my new awning from this new dealer. This guy came by and looked at everything I had ordered compared to what I got (the one awning installed) and helped me figure out how much to demand back in return. I have Legal Shield, so I contacted them and they gave me the name of an attorney who wrote a demand letter to GA explaining what needed to be returned to me and why. It took several weeks but I finally was able to go pick up a check from their office and trust me, I prayed all the way to the bank where I cashed it ASAP. Buzz actually told me his wife died. And one time when I called he was surprised I was calling him and said he didn't recognize the number and he was at his wife's funeral. Why on earth would you answer your phone at your wife's funeral without even recognizing the number? I hope these people get shut down before they scam anyone else. read more

He then sent his "Brother" ..Eric or "Buzz" (806) 252-1434 over to "talk", he sounded believable at first...but then the excuses piled up and I realized...the guy was just making up story after story...they were endless....I hope people check reviews prior to hiring these people. Another month has passed since we were awarded our judgement against Georgetown Awnings, LLC and we have yet to see a penny of the $5,000 we paid for a SunSetter Awning that we never received. Now we see that the signage is gone from their physical location on Shell Rd. in Georgetown. We'll keep trying to get our money back, but in the meantime, let this be a warning not to do business with the Coronado crime family consisting of Pedro, Danny, and Buzz. If I could give zero I would. This company should be avoided at all cost . I wish I didn't have to write this review, but I believe people need to be aware of what they are getting into. I chose them because they reached out from a project I submitted on Angi. I assumed since they were on Angi that it was a reputable company to work with and man was a I wrong. They will likely be very responsive upfront and are quick to take deposit for the project only for excuses and continuous lies to follow about why the project hasn't been completed. I wouldn't trust a word that anyone says. They will continue to string you along with assurances. Every time they failed to follow through a new member of the company would call and ensure me that they were handling it now and that it would all be completed. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! read more

me and my wife wanted some awnings on our business, and we were recommended my our new neighbors and they did an amazing job! Adam and Peter made this process so easy during our crazy move to Texas. We love the color of the fabric and the logo came out incredible. Do NOT use this company! The other reviews are accurate. Working with them has been a nightmare. They do not answer their office phone, and their sales representatives, Danny Coronado and Adam, are also unresponsive. They don't return phone calls or email messages. They take your money immediately but then disappear. Currently, I have an upset customer because the awnings haven't been installed, and I cannot provide an update since I can't reach anyone at Georgetown Awnings to find out when the awnings I paid for over a month ago will be ready. read more

They did when I tried with another cell phone! But they told you so many stories.. they lost their mom, then sister in law, then they are going to call you back ! Took My Money, in July 2023 after signing a contract. They still have not done the work after almost a year. Two of the owners admitted they have my Money but would not return it. I plan to file a lawsuit in a day or two for $7,940.00. That might put them out of business based on the rest of the reviews. read more

Guy was late and canceled the first appointment, was late for the second, spent about ten minutes on property, then it took four phone calls, one of which they sounded annoyed I was still trying to receive a quote, over multiple days to end up with a quote that wasn't even at all what I asked for, I asked for a clean looking flat awning, without sides, he called to follow up and I asked does this quote include sides,Yes some people want them.... My Father is a disabled Vet on a fixed income. The first part of the carport cover went well. That included a roof and one side. We needed the other side done. My dad paid the half down and waited 11 weeks before calling to get an update. They stated they lost his number. (mind you they have contracts with all the info on it). Not once, twice, three or maybe eight times did they not show up when they said. They started not answering my dad's calls so I started to call. The first call I was told the materials was on the truck and would be there in the afternoon. No show, no call. I called the next day and talked to the PM. He said the guys on the truck could not find my dad's house. (why didn't they call). He said he would be there the coming Sat. I asked him to call if he would not be able to make it. No call, no show. I called again and he assured me he would be out the following Sat and he would call me the Thursday before, he also mentioned he was a veteran and would like to talk to my dad. No call, no show. Then they started not answering my calls. I drove to the showroom to talk about my issues. There was no one there that had authority. The front desk worker could not reach them by phone. I was also told there is not a veteran that works there. I was told he would go to the site where the PM was working at lunch to let them know about my issues. Again, no calls. They have my dad's money, we have half a carport and they are liars. read more

AWFUL!! They took a very large deposit to do a commercial job with 11 awnings. In 4 months they installed 1 awning. When given written demand to complete the work or return the deposit, they ignored the demand, never completed the work and never returned the deposit. I am now pursuing legal remedies. read more
