    Warm mayo lobster roll, AMAZING
    Kelly M.

Amazing! Why didn't I go to this joint sooner?! New England seafood shack vibes in Georgetown! Great service, reasonable prices. The warm lobster roll with mayo was heavenly!!!!! Clam chowder is thick and good although quite salty. The lobster grilled cheese is pretty good too but I do recommend sticking to the lobster roll!

Best meal I had while in DC/Virginia for a business trip! Had the lobster roll and it was 10/10, buttery and no brininess whatsoever. Also lots of variety so that you can have your meal just the way you like it too - you can have your lobster meat cold or warmed, and you can have fries, hush puppies, chips, or salad on the side. If lobster isn't your thing, there's also crab cakes, po' boys, cod, and shrimp! For service, you order at the counter but I was brought water with lemon, checked on during my meal, and one of the employees even chased me outside and offered me some candy in a bowl on my way out. It was such a thoughtful gesture to top off an already marvelous meal!

Very excellent service! Good tasting food. Would definitely return. It is very expensive though hence the four stars instead of 5

Came from out of town and decided to check this place out for early dinner. Crab cake is full of high quality blue crab meats. Potato salad and fries were awesome. Staffs kept checking in on me. I love the chill vibe of this tiny restaurant. All in all it's an excellent place to grab a bite. Definitely pricey food around Georgetown to be expected. Highly recommend!

Another gem which I'm ecstatic to have finally visited! First, shoutout to the incredible staff!!!! Everyone was super helpful and pleasant, hospitality at its finest. However, shoutout to our waitress, Doris-she was the kindest. Seating: there is a few seating both upstairs and downstairs, with more seating outside. However, because this place is super popular you can expect each seat to be filled. Quality: I wasn't too fond of the fishy scent upon arrival but it's a seafood spot and one which provides the freshest and most delicious seafood I've had in a longggggggggg time. I ordered the lobster grilled cheese with a side of hush puppies and my boyfriend ordered a lobster roll. Hush puppies- the BEST I've had in quite some time. They were freshly made, crispy, and mixed with some honey for an added sweetness. Lobster grilled cheese sandwich: O-M-G! I'm still recovering from the amazing flavor profile in this sandwich. For starters, the Maine lobster serving was quite generous and it was fresh and buttery. The sourdough bread was beyond delicious, perfectly crisp around the edges, soft on the inside, with savory cheese oozing through the holes. The sandwich also contained sautéed spinach and tomato, making this sandwich my favorite of all time-no exaggeration! My boyfriend absolutely loved his lobster roll and from the pictures, you can once again see how generous they were with serving up those fresh lobster pieces. We ended up ordering another round of hush puppies because there was no way that we would leave without indulging in more of it. LOL I cannot wait to return again.

If you are craving a lobster roll you have found the place to go. This roll was absolutely delicious and packed full of lobster. They really didn't skimp out! I'll be dreaming of this for days!! Also ordered the lobster bisque and it was just as good The service was also great! We were greeted with big smiles and welcoming words.

I've heard great things about Georgetown Seafood so I was excited to try! It's a great place with amazing workers and delicious food! I had a yummy lobster roll with French fries. Everything was warm and I enjoyed a day outside. I will easily be back whenever I'm craving fresh and good quality seafood.

Good spot for grab and go seafood with some outdoor seating. The lobster roll was good but when I order a warm roll I expect it to be warm throughout, the middle was cold & could've used some more seasoning. The hush puppies and sauce were really delicious I'd definitely get those again. The clam chowder was ok nothing to write home about.

Georgetown Seafood was SO good. My mind was honestly blown. The lobster bisque was rich, creamy, and packed with chunks of lobster. The lobster roll was loaded with fresh lobster. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and every dish was a hit. The person serving us was friendly and kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The seating area is small, but it's definitely worth it. I'll absolutely be back.

I heard great things about Georgetown Seafood, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The location is fantastic, but be prepared for a challenge with parking on weekends; it took me a little extra time to find a spot. The decor has a charming New England feel. The staff were efficient and friendly, making the experience even better. We indulged in the lobster grilled cheese with hush puppies and a chilled lobster roll. Both were absolutely delicious, and the hush puppies were so good we had to order a second round. If you're a seafood lover, this place is a worth a visit.

A very casual atmosphere and upbeat. A bit of tight space but doable. Staff was all friendly and attentive. Both types of lobster rolls were good. Their hushpuppies were crispy and tasty. The lobster bisque was delicious. The clam chowder was just ok. The crab cake was pretty good. An overaall good experience.

After soaking in the views of the waterfront by Georgetown waterfront park, this spot was a short walk uphill and the place I had bookmarked for lunch. I ordered the crabcake and lobster bisque for dine in. The cashier even asked me if I wanted them to serve the dishes together which was really attentive of them. I found some seating on the second floor and the staff even brought the food up to me! I know I came for the seafood but was absolutely blown away by the five star service! The staff were super king and kept asking if we needed anything the entire time we were dining in. They also proactively brought cups of water and utensils as well as an extra basket for my brother so that we could share the order. Once others are finished eating, the staff were super quick to clear and clean the tables. This is the service that all five stars or those $$$ restaurants should aspire for honestly. The crab cake was pretty decent and good for the given price. Not the best I've ever had though. The lobster bisque was also pretty good and stirring the soup seemed to enhance the seafood flavor. It was a very creamy and filling soup. Bathroom was immaculately clean and had no smell. 10 out of 10 would recommend visiting this spot if in the area!

We started with drinks at the tiny bar. The drinks were quite good. The restaurant is tiny with a very cute three chair bar. It is decorated with items made by the owner. She is very personable and seems to take pride in the fish she buys and serves. Before dinner, they present you with two tiny corn muffins. A nice little touch. We had the octopus appetizer that was probably among the best we've ever had. It was cooked perfectly. My friend had the scallops and said they were quite good, but a tad undercooked, and the sauce was delicious. I had the Bronzino and it was delicious served with grilled zucchini. The sauce was excellent. For desert, my friend had the Affogato, which he said was just good not great. I had the Keylime parfait. The Keylime itself was quite good, but the crust was just a little off. (I was hoping for a candle in my dessert to get a birthday wish as I had noted in the reservation it was my birthday dinner, but alas, no candle. No biggie, but that would've been a nice touch.)

More importantly, the service was back to the Joe's I've known for years. Our server Kimberly was wonderful, attentive, warm, and took great care of us. Ryan the manager also stopped by personally to apologize and make sure we were having a good experience. What made this visit especially satisfying was seeing my wife finally experience the level of hospitality I had been telling her about all these years. She walked away impressed, and so did I. This past weekend, I finally returned for dinner with a couple of friends after a show at Arena Stage. The restaurant is still stunning. We sat outside to enjoy the Wharf/water views and the summer weather. The food was still great, too. Everything was tasty, but the entrees really blew my mind - beautiful and delicious. We also each had a glass or two of wine, and they have a great wine list. The service was very friendly, but at some point during our early dinner (our reservation was for 5pm), they got busy and our server disappeared a bit as he got busier. Their happy hour is one of the highlights, offering discounted oysters, drinks, and select appetizers during designated hours. I started with the spinach and artichoke dip, which arrived piping hot and topped with a generous layer of melted Parmesan. The dip was creamy, cheesy, and packed with spinach and artichokes without being overly heavy. It had a rich, savory flavor that paired perfectly with the warm, crispy house-made tortilla chips. The chips were sturdy enough to scoop up the thick dip without breaking, making it an appetizer that was easy to keep reaching for. The raw oysters were the star of the meal. They were served beautifully over ice with fresh lemon and a variety of sauces. The oysters tasted incredibly fresh clean, briny, and buttery with no fishy aftertaste. Each one had its own subtle flavor, and the accompaniments enhanced them without overpowering their natural taste. At happy hour pricing, they were an outstanding value and definitely something I'd order again. To drink, I had a margarita, which was refreshing and well-balanced. It wasn't overly sweet, allowing the citrus and tequila flavors to shine through. The salted rim added the perfect finishing touch, making it an ideal pairing with both the oysters and the creamy dip. The atmosphere was lively without feeling overcrowded, making it a great place for catching up with friends or enjoying an after-work happy hour. Service was attentive, and the food arrived quickly despite the restaurant being busy.
