And where is Soda and Swine's Yelp page? I know I did a review, but now the page appears gone completely in search? Nah, it's just hidden, presumably to accommodate Fortunate Sons, which opened about a year ago after re-construction of both establishments. I'm too lazy to see if still owned by Consortium Group. I did search my reviews and found my updated Soda & Swine review dated 8 & 10 years ago. O_o !! Now, food is still served, however, there's a new name in town called "Fortunate Son" (next door, connected). Apparently, food now served is Asian-inspired. I've not visited recently to taste. The North Park area is a great neighborhood with many different types of food close by. While you're there, don't forget to stop by "An's Dry Cleaners", where the most inventive gelato's, ice creams and sorbets come from.

What keeps me coming back is the combination of great music, an energetic vibe, outstanding service, and some of the most creative cocktails you'll find anywhere. Tonight was girls' night out, so we decided to order the prettier, and sweeter cocktails. But don't let the sweet flavors fool you--they are definitely generous with the alcohol. These drinks may taste dangerously easy to sip, but they pack a punch! I don't even remember the names of the cocktails we ordered, but honestly, that doesn't matter because the menu changes so often. And that's one of the things I love most about Music Bar. Every visit brings something new, fresh, and exciting to try. Both of my drinks were absolutely delicious, with the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. I honestly don't know how the bartenders come up with these combinations, but kudos to the team for constantly pushing their creativity while still making every cocktail incredibly well balanced. OG Haccho Chicken Sliders were more like full size sandwiches - Miso Glazed Crispy Chicken, Sumono Pickles, Sesame Coleslaw, w Yuzu Togarashi Mayo, on a soft Brioche Bun. It was weird- the Edible Tuile Shell, Caviar, Yuzu Caviar, Sancho Oil, Wakame, Micro Greens on top were just too much. The flavors did not show while eating. They were Seoul City Hipster, Kasato Maru and Purple Petunias. Each was $20, but they were so tasty. I got the 52 Burger for $16 which was mouthwatering. One of the best burgers I have eaten. My friend got the 12oz Bone-In Pork Loin for $27. This was pretty decent. I thought the burger was better. Walk-in status wait time for one person was about 1.5 hours. At 5:55pm I walked in past the first chainmail curtains and asked Kenny for the next-available: -8:15pm was two hours away so pass -register me on the standby waitlist, it was faster Phone number registered- and I walked back to the Kindred bar. I waited from 5:45pm-7:08pm so I drank some drinks and ate dinner items in Kindred to hold the time. At 7:05pm I got a text message to show up at the TR podium. I closed my bar tab with a credit card. Inside Throne Room was pretty nice. Kenny escorted me into a small room, icicle flame light candles above, dwarven gold wall behind the bar, four small 5-person alcoves in the side wall, and dungeon chamber monk chanting music on the speakers. At 7pm the music level fought the noise level of the crowd-adventurers already yapping in the speakeasy. I saw several women wearing medieval gowns! I saw rogues in hood and cloth and bracers. I saw elven ears. This place will be a larpers go-to after public open. The scroll menu was well made, written in medieval, very organized from light drinks on Top, to a break for teas in the middle, then down, down, down into the dungeon-to the bottom of the scroll where the heavy drinks lie. And the snacks and the souvenirs, were also at the bottom of the scroll. The lore was very interesting to read. Drinks and snacks: I got the Dwarf Elder, the 7 Dear's Love, the spicy nuts. The drinks were sweet so I will hit the heavy next time. The Dungeon Boss was the Nothing Zero Signal Bar Wraith: level 95. It continuously casted "no-signal" as a debuff spell to all T-mobile users inside 20m, with zero mana depletion and no cooldown. My T-mobile signal bars was one bar. It was super slow to no for phone surfing. I saw two Kindred WiFi networks but the bar lady said they were not for patron use. Well that's unfortunate. I will have to bring a portable hotspot or Starlink and indoor router and a long cable from the outside eating area into the speakeasy. Please give the patrons WiFi. I kinda skipped the dungeon boss and went straight for the treasure. Loot chest. I bought the Chamber sessions cassette tape, Throne Room pendant, scroll menu, and glass quaich. I discussed my return plan with Kenny. It's gonna be tough to get reservations online until the hard open date in September, but I will keep trying. Ours were wonderfully aromatic before we even took the first sip, and thankfully they tasted just as good. Then you start noticing everything around you. The menu arrives rolled up in this elaborate calligraphy style. There's a welcome drink. Chandeliers, a waterfall/light effect, blue and amber lighting, curved booths, unusual textures and a ceiling you actually find yourself studying. And yes, they even created a soundtrack for the place. That's what separates it from a bar that's simply "themed." There are connections between the music, lighting, glassware, architecture, cocktails and food. It feels mystical in places, futuristic in others, but somehow it all works together. We celebrated a birthday here and shared several of the snacks, which were delicious and fit the experience rather than feeling like an afterthought. Special shout out to our server he gave us great service and surprised us with a delicious chocolate cake slice for the birthday. The service was top notch for sure. They had hot dogs, incredible deli meat sandwiches, and warm meatball sandwiches with all of it being delicious.
