Georgia Diner is basically the only option for 24-hour classic diner food in Gwinnett County. As such, it meets a need. The menu is extensive and the food is decent. I have been several times and have never had a bad meal, but also never had a particularly good one, either. Diner food is not known for being cheap and this place is no exception. A little over-priced for the quality. The staff is fine, but the ambiance is marred by the constant Muzak stream and the TV apparently locked onto Fox News (blessedly on mute). This should tell you something about the typical clientele they are trying to attract. All in all, a decent place to eat when nothing else is open. read more

Very mediocre. I understand it's a diner but geez. My eggs were cold, bacon tasted like greasy super crunchy beef jerky. I've never had bacon I didn't like. The home fries were more like mashed potatoes and the sausage didn't even look edible. :( waitress were at least nice. :) I won't be returning for breakfast maybe I'll try for lunch next time but more than likely not. read more

This business is nothing less than shady. They advertise that they are part of Rewards Network. But their credit card machine at the register does not connect with the system. After three visits, I learned that they maintain a second credit card processing unit that is not available to customers but meets the requirements to be part of Rewards Network, which process various kinds of credit card rewards. While the food is okay, service is slow. My trips there have been for breakfast -- and for a diner breakfast it's fine. But I won't go back. If they falsely advertise participation in a promotional program, then what other things are they doing? read more

Seated quickly, order taken promptly, 35 minute wait to receive luke warm food. Tea had some foreign particles floating in it. Not once while waiting 35 minutes for food did the waitress come back to check on us, therefore poor tip for poor service. read more

Had breakfast there this morning at 7. I was the only customer the whole time. That should have been a warning. The food was below average - the sausage patties had several pieces of gristle in them and, while cooked thourgh, didn't have a nice brown crust, just grey throughout. The home fries were overcooked - just mush, instead of crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The deal breaker for me, though, was the food sanitation score - down from a 95 to an 80 - the lowest B. I won't be back. read more

I used to live nearby many years ago and enjoyed dining here. Food, atmosphere, prices, and service were great. Boy, things have sure changed around here! It must have been a bad day for the owner when I came to dine. While we waited for someone to take our order (10 min), we must have seen about four parties come and leave their booth because it took forever to get someone to take their order! 15 min later, our food finally arrived (after being told several times before that the food was on the way shortly). The last time I was here, I remembered the beef tips were pretty tasty. Well, that was then, this is now. First ten out of nine bites were nothing but tough gristly meat. My wife was getting grossed out seeing me pull gristle out of my mouth and placing it onto the plate. I had quite the aftermath pile forming when I finally decided to send it back. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak this time. 15 min later, I get something that just wasn't appetizing. The bread was falling apart and there was more cheese than cheesesteak! My experience here left much to be desired. The owner was short handed on staff, the food was mediocre, the atmosphere was rushed, and the apologies were plentiful. When we finally left the restaurant, we actually saw a group leave after getting no service and walking over to the Popeye's chicken place! On a side note, my wife said her gyro was good and the fries were fresh to the taste. Would I come back again? Probably when new management and cooks are in place. read more

We love the georgia diner, breakfast is fast, fresh and hot. Portions are giant, coffee great. Been here for lunch and dinner, great portions, kids swear by their wings, and the staff, we would come if the food was only 1/2 as good. MOMMA LOUISE is a bolt of energy the way she moves around, and along with the owners and staff, makes you feel welcome like family from the first visit. Just the nicest people. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Duluth! Diverse menu, with diner food and more complicated dishes in many styles. They have burgers, pasta, steak, and even seafood sandwiches. Usually a decent crowd, but rarely uncomfortably loud. It's not always the cleanest place, but maybe that's because it's a 24 hour diner. It feels more clean than Waffle House, that's for sure. The veggie burger is very good, and the swiss cheese makes it sweet. Speaking of sweets, they have a wide assortment of cakes, and cheesecakes. Service was good food was below average. Somebody in our party couldn't stomach the baby back ribs. Someone else tried them and said they were just not good. I had the turkey burger and fries it was fine, but not something I'd come back for. They accommodated our group of nine on a Saturday night with no wait. This may have been a sign. They had a bunch of cakes on display I didn't try them but they're there. Diners are hit and miss with what you order so it could be we just missed the good stuff. Everything you could possibly want available 24 hours a day! Can't get much better than that! It's your typical diner with greasy food that tastes great. I love the 2 eggs any way breakfast with hash browns and toast all for $2.95! Their grilled cheese and fries is also a personal favorite. It's important to remember that this is a diner, and with that being said, it was better than I expected. Our server was very friendly (but not overly so), and our food/beverages were out in a flash. I am the Organizer of a Foodies Meetup group. We travel around the Gwinnett County area and hopefully enjoy the various restaurants and their fare. I had 13 people at this meetup yesterday and we really enjoy getting together. We talk, eat and enjoy each others company. Our visit to the Georgia Diner was less than previous visits. The service was great, but the food was subpar. Mash potatoes were cold on more than one plate. Pork chops were over cooked and tough. How do you make cabbage on a stuffed cabbage tough and hard to cut. The filling and sauce tasteless. My wife had the fried catfish, which she enjoyed. The desserts looked really good and hope they were. We will not be going back there. Should have went to Hooters up the road or Popeye's next door. read more

The Georgia Diner has sentimental appeal for me because it has been a late night hang out for my boyfriend and I. I really like the chicken omelet and he is fond of the pancakes. Over all it's a friendly and nice place. Like many of the diners in Georgia, this one is operated by imigrants. So the menu is less Joney and Chachi and little more Baliwood. The good news is, there is a huge variety to choose from. Get Kabob or a Waffle, whatever you are in the mood for. The staff here is great. I went to Georgia Diner with my teenage son last night. The open faced turkey sandwich was what would likely be served at the Georgia State Prison on Tues night. It reminded me of the Swanson frozen turkey dinner that we had at home when payday was getting close. My son had the chicken fingers and according to him equally disgusting. We counted 8 people total in the place and the server spent most of her time in the back. She didnt check on us even once. I left 10% out of moral obligation but she didnt deserve it. I usually stop by here on the way to or home from JeJu. They have great food! I've taken many friends out here for a good meal as well. I love the pancakes and the turkey bacon and sausage. They have good old fashion fries and milkshakes. They have some great desert too! Every time that I have requested fruit is has always been fresh. I ordered Georgia Diner for breakfast through UberEats. Unfortunately when I got my food, the order was wrong. I ordered the French Toast Deluxe which comes with French Toast, Sausage, Ham, and Bacon. When I opened my box, there was no bacon. When I called to complain, I wad greeted with attitude and no apology. When I asked for a refund, I was told to contact Uber, which makes ZERO sense because it was GEORGIA DINER'S error, not Uber. This was my first time eating/ordering from here and it most certainly will be my last until this situation is rectified. read more
