Food was fresh, service was good, ambiance was cool. Overall everything was decent! Thank You!!!!

Very good coffee: very dark, our waiter brought a cup of hot water with it. Neither of us watered it down, but I know some folks who would have. Food was excellent. I upgraded my side to country potatoes and felt it was worth it. They were fantastic. Pork chop was thick enough and moist inside. Wife's pancakes were also very good. Eggs done right and not over seasoned. Grits were amazing. My wife likes grits, but rarely finishes them. She cleaned these up. Service was good, but leisurely. Not too slow, but neither would I say quick. Don't go here for "I gotta get in and out fast." Always polite. We were pointed here by friends, and it did not disappoint. Place was clean and spacious. Nicely subdued noise level, encouraged quiet chat. Restroom was old, but clean.

This isn't a terrible spot. The food was good. The service on the other hand is not the greatest. We were there for over an hour. That is too long to be at a restaurant. My food took 45mins to get to me. Once we were ready for the check, our waiter was no where to be seen. We actually had one of the food runners come up to me because he noticed I was annoyed. He grabbed our waiter after waiting 15mins just to get the check when we were done eating. Minus the service, you should really get the Huevos Rancheros. It is so delicious and MASSIVE! It's a very laid back place but some people like to dress up.

We decided to stop by for brunch since it was close by. We went there when there was a quiet "winter storm" and were glad they were open. The staff were nice. Food was ok. I thought it was a little over seasoned. The drinks were way too sweet and lacked alcohol. Not sure if I'd come back but nice to know it's there.

    Undercooked chicken

We had a lovely server but the chicken was not cooked through - we had 2 orders of chicken and waffles and both orders were undercooked. Goodness knows who else had undercooked food.... We were offered to get new plates made - we did not want them and asked to have our full meal comped. The manager demanded we pay for our drinks even after the inconvenience of (1) being exposed to undercooked chicken (2) now having to find a new place to eat (3) the time wasted. The manager's lack of interest in our experience was the most disappointing part. Difficult to articulate but it was definitely off putting for me. Wouldn't recommend.

I'm a hard critic on breakfast and Atlanta has its spots the give one or the other but never all at once. To stumble upon this spot was a refreshing surprise. I came from doing our Saturday walk and we find this spot. First off it is in a shopping center which means parking was free and plentiful. When you walk in it's an open concept that was medium sized. Mixture of small booths and tables that give an eating in the dinning room at home vibe. Like you just feel at home. No grass walls or overly done just quaint. We were greeted immediately after entry and seated. The hustle and bustle of long waits and poor customer service are over for me. I'm sticking with Gwinnett restaurants and finding the good gems to support. The waiter was informative and gave a great recommendation in which we ordered. The breakfast platter gave a good variety of everything I wanted. The waffle was flawless. Eggs were real and scrambled nicely. Bacon crispy and no oil in sight. Grits were creamy and didn't require additional seasoning. They played nice r&b lightly in the background. I have definitely added this spot to my list for solo and small group breakfast stops.

We made a reservation online because the place looked pretty small but, when we got there, he told us we didn't need one and we could sit wherever we wanted. At first, everything started out rocky and we regretted coming here and were ready to leave but thankfully got much better. Service was a little slow and it took a moment before we got acknowledged, and apparently only the manager could make drinks so it took a while for the drinks to come out however, once she stopped talking to one of the tables and made the drinks, they were very potent and good. Thrvchicken and waffles redeemed everything, though it was huge and probably some of the best chicken! my husband also enjoyed his shrimp and grits, which was a very large portion

Stopped by for a Tuesday lunch. There were two other tables outside of us there. Our server was great and friendly. They checked in on us and our food came out relatively quickly. I got the shrimp and grits, which was around $20. The portion was huge. I liked that the shrimp came in a separate bowl for the grits. It was very light in flavor. Not salty, but still savory. A lot of peppers and onions with the shrimp. My sis got their waffles. They were very soft and yummy. We both enjoyed our meals.

I brought my mom here for brunch on a quiet Tuesday morning during the holiday week. It was our first time visiting. While I would return, I do want to note the positives and negatives. Positives: Excellent coffee! Hot and fresh and also serves decaf. Food was hot and fresh and EXCELLENT runny eggs! Music was quiet enough to talk (which I appreciated). Needing improvement: The restaurant must have been very understaffed this day. Several tables hadn't been cleared and the floors under the tables that hasn't been cleared weren't swept. Not a very appetizing sight upon entry into the restaurant. The hostess stand was cluttered and no on one was there to greet guests. This makes the vibe a bit off-putting. In general, the vibe is off anyway. I don't know if it's the lighting, or the temperature of the establishment (it was cold inside the restaurant...in late December), or the décor...I can't quite put my finger on it, but the restaurant doesn't feel welcoming. As a matter of fact, we did see people come in, take a look around, and leave while we were there. The server was very sweet but it very well could have been her first day based on the poor quality of service. She was slow to come to our table when we first sat down, took forever to bring our coffee, and was slow on refills and checking on us. Water was never offered, and when I finally asked for a glass of water, she just brought me a glass and never offered anything to my mother. The coffee was great but wasn't serviced with any fixings (sugar, Splenda, etc.). I actually had to get up and get my own sweetener. The creamer was just little plastic pods that you find at the gas station...I expected higher quality. My mom had an omelet with a biscuit, which was very good, but the server never offered butter or jam or syrup for the biscuit. I had Huevos Rancheros which was also very good, the only improvement I would offer was that it was smothered in salsa which overpowered the other flavors. It was a huge portion and I couldn't finish it. The prices are a bit on the high side for the level of hospitality. I expected better quality of service for sure. Overall: I probably will return to give it one more chance and see if it was just an off-day for the service. No disappointment when it comes to the food or coffee!

I wanted to like this place considering its 9 mins from my house, but something was a bit off with it. Don't get me wrong, it was a breath of fresh air from your clubby type of brunch spots, but the vibe was still off a bit. My son ordered the grits bowl with scramble eggs and turkey sausage, I ordered the fish and chips and cup of coffee, that should have come with cajun fries, but they served it with regular fries, I had asked two different people about the cajun fries and was ultimately sent out some cajun seasoning- lol.... I guess they felt that I could do it myself, which was too late for the actual seasoning to stick, so I ended up leaving the fries there. The fried catfish was delish! My son said his food was ok. The restaurant was clean, the service was not accommodating enough for me. There are so many brunch spots in Gwinnett and unfortunately this one is not making the list. Sorry!

We did not have a good experience so I'm disappointed that I offered this choice when my husband wanted to go to First Watch. Pros: the food was good and it wasn't crowded Cons: the service was extremely slow with only 3 families eating. We were told someone else would be our server then the same person came back to take our order. My husband asked two different people for coffee then finally on the third ask, he received it at the end of the meal. My son wanted steak sauce but no one checked on us until we were ready to go. The food was good but not special just your basic breakfast. We passed by a month ago, it was crowded. I couldn't wait to try it. Now I wish I would've waited.

Decided to swing in for a quick drink and a bite... and let me just say, this place delivered. I grabbed a seat outside, and it was the kind of patio setting that just feels good. You know the type--families laughing over dinner, couples sharing wine flights, girls' night energy in full swing, and even a few solo sippers like myself just soaking in the peace. The vibe is cozy, inviting, and full of life, like the conversations around me were about to turn into lifelong memories. Now let's talk service--because Nico? An absolute gem. Attentive without hovering, super kind, and clearly knew the menu like the back of his hand. You can tell he actually cares about your experience. He made sure everything I ordered came out perfectly, gave great pairing suggestions, and his energy added so much to the night. For food, I stuck with tapas and still left impressed. I had the beef empanadas, which came with this creamy, tangy aioli-style sauce that just elevated every bite. Perfectly crisp on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside--5/5, no hesitation. Then came the fried pork ceviche--and wow. The citrus was bold in the best way, that fresh lime flavor dancing through every bite, paired with pickled onions that gave it this addicting tang. Light, bright, but still rich thanks to that crisp pork. Another 5/5, easy. The wine list? Straight-up elite. They casually have Caymus and Grgich Hills chilling on the menu like it's no big deal--by the bottle, of course (and if you know, you know). Definitely a spot where wine lovers can treat themselves without the drive into the city. I only scratched the surface with the tapas, but I'll absolutely be back for the full entrée experience. Whether you want a solo night with a glass of something special, a romantic evening, or a laid-back hang with friends, Meraki hits all the right notes. A wine bar this good, this close to home? Yeah... traffic's never been so rewarding. Note to self: next time, fake a traffic jam just to justify stopping again.
