First time home here I was a walk in no customers were in the salons since everyone was at school or work. Tina did my nails and she did amazing she made sure my nail shape looked good , and my nails were smooth and didn't have any bumps . She did SNS ombré nails I've never had SNS done , but she was very knowledgeable and told me all the benefits. It took about an hour which wasn't bad at all I will be coming back ! Okay, so I went into this place on a whim bc it is close to my house and the only one I found open on a Sunday (due to of COVID, lots of places are now closed Sundays). I also let a male do my gel manicure, which I don't ever do because I find males pay less attention to detail, are preoccupied on their cellphones more often than not, and always seem rushed. Anyway, Finn was the first to greet me so I gave in. At first, he seemed a little rude and short with me (which is why 4 stars and not 5), but I'm not sure if that's just a cultural/language barrier thing or if he's just a diva lol. Regardless, I don't even care y'all because this boy did it right!! This gel manicure has lasted me 4 weeks with NO chipping, only growing out. I have only seen this level of awesomeness with SNS or acrylic, but never with gel. I think it's because he was very careful, made sure to put the polish on the tip of the nails (SO many manicurists forget to do this!), and did a full manicure (cuticles, lotion, etc.) in addition to polishing nails. He ended up being a very nice gentleman and I think I've found my new favorite nail salon!! I tried gel polish at another local salon that I've been going to for years and not only did it chip after the first week, but she charged me the same amount Finn did WITHOUT doing a full manicure. No cuticles, no lotion, just polish:( I'm going to try a pedi this week in addition to my gel mani so I'll keep y'all posted. I hope it's just as good!! I came here with my sister last night to get our nails done before going to church. The shop is really cute and the shop is family own. The owner of the shop is really sweet and nice. She is supper sweet and nice. The shop is right next to a sushi place so if you are hungry you can go next door and order food there. The shop is really clean and everything is clean before use on the client. They have a pretty big option of gel colors! I could decided what I want to get done on my nails. Found this place on Yelp and it did not disappoint! Talk about friendly! But also I'm a travel nurse so I go all over the country and this salon by far has done the best dip powder! They knew how to soak them off fast, smooth them out and not leave any glue on my skin! Honestly the best I've ever been to! Do yourself a favor and get yourself some dip nails here! read more

I honestly had high hopes for this place because of the reviews. The pricing of the nails was okay. I didn't love the work done though. The color on my nails came out kind of patchy and swirly. When the lady was doing my nails I noticed that one nail was leaning more towards the left and asked if she could fix it. She just filled a little bit more but it was still crooked. I went there to have a pedi done, it was the MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER! she cut half my nail off from the side saying I had a ingrown nail which I know I didnt! then had to pull it out making me bleed for 5 minutes straight.. I had never experienced pain like that ever when getting a pedi.. the sad thing is I went there because the reviews where good! Now I am highly traumatized about having a pedi done again. Went to get my eyebrows done they are uneven and the wax was why to hot great nail but don't get your eyebrows done .

I waited an hour just to be seen and they didn't even seem a little apologetic. Unacceptable customer service.

When I turned 18, back in the 80's, I got acrylic nails to cover my ugly short nails, and kept them for years. This left my ugly nails even uglier AND damaged, cracked vertically, peeling, and soft. I spent a lot of $$ on remedies -gelatin, polishes, creams, etc. but nothing worked. The last thing I wanted to do was set foot into a nail salon. BUT -- then I met Theresa @ Georgia Nails. i'd been hearing they worked miracles. So I decided to give them a chance. Fast forward 12 weeks. My nails are beautiful & healthy. I'm no longer ashamed to show my hands. Theresa, her mom (amazing pedicures) and her brother (nail artist extraordinaire) are miracle workers. They are kind, the salon is clean and prices are right. Not knowing their closing time, I called and asked- turns out it was 10 minutes prior to their closing time (7pm). I fully expected a rejection, but instead I was told "come on in". Teresa took great care of me and my dipping powder, fill-in manicure. She was BY FAR the best nail technician I've ever encountered. Took her time (even past closing time) and did an amazing job. Not going back! I believe in second chances for all, but this was more than a second chance. Could not get the same person that originally done my nails, he was great! The lady that did after nicked two of my fingers and they bled! I'm sorry this is suppose to be a relaxing perk for myself and hurting is not an exception! She apologized and I ended up with her again, better experience this time. Went today and another lady (the mgr-owner) began my mani, but suggested the other lady come assist with removing the old set. I mentioned to them as long as it didn't cause pain and would get done sooner. She mentioned this would be faster and look better than sanding all the old off. Considering I had the solar pink / white and she noticed a drastic difference in shades of pink We will call her M came over and started popping the old off. I'm sure she saw my expression and concern with the first one that was not comfortable, but continued. I now have a hole in my nail and it started bleeding. She was pregnant or I might have smacked her! After she moved and the mgr continued I could see her concern looking at my nail. She sanitized it, of course that was NOT fun! Then said I could come back tomorrow and she would finish that one ( her exact words she didn't want to make it worse) no one will notice. At that point I was furious and thought yes they will if anyone this is for me and I will! I work hard too and this is one thing I truly enjoyed relaxing and having done once every 2-3 weeks. No one has apologized or anything, M even suggested as I washed my hands ( of course that stung like a bee sting) that " it's ok I put powder and finish like that on other customers". I said no I don't think so it's bleeding and hurts, probably not a good idea! Wow people just don't care or concern themselves with quality customer service anymore! If I could leave a negative rating, I most definitely would. Absolute WORST service ever. After waiting 15 minutes, we were sat in spa chairs with our feet soaking and about 15 minutes after that we were told we had to get up and wait because they had 3 other appointments already made. I will never ever again go to Georgia Nails next to buffalos in oakwood ever again. Went just this Thursday to get a fill in. Yes. The fill in was $18 by itself and I always get gel so I knew it would be a bit more. This time I got gel and thought the color I was getting was gel but it was a powder. No big deal. They had to put a white gel base and a gel top coat. All together for that was about $45 bucks. Without them telling me. Still. No big deal. Whatever I know now. But when that crap starts peeling off after 3 days and I go in and ask you for not a full refund but just a partial or to come back next week and you refuse and tell me I can do it now or tomorrow! No! Screw you. I'm in the middle of moving and have a child I have to take care of. I explained this to them at least five times and they just kept saying the same thing. Finally just told them I wouldn't come back and had to walk out! Awful customer service. I tried to talk to them and come up with a solution but no, and I'm sorry I'm paying good money for this. I understand if I came in a week from now and didn't show you what happened that you couldn't but when you see that something is currently wrong but tell me next week would be to late I'm sorry you should've informed me of the product you were using. Not only how much extra it would cost but that it's a piece of crap. No communication. This place went down the drain once it switched owners. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and if they had a Facebook page I would've left this there. End of rant. read more
