We haven't been to Georgines in a very long time but were very surprised that the Veal Parm and Chicken Parm did not come with pasta. I have never been to a place where you did not get pasta with either of these entrees. The waitress brought out potatoes, green beans and carrots for the table. My friend asked if he could have some pasta and she said it would be an extra charge. We ordered anyway and two of the people split it. This is totally bizarre and not very professional for a restaurant that's been around for a very long time. We have been coming here for almost 25 years. Portions are huge and food is good. My normal order is Lobster Bisque, chicken fingers appetizer, and veal or chicken parm. Never had a bad meal. I came here with a group of coworkers on a business trip after asking for recommendations for places to eat from a local. The interior is your grandmas house in 1994, but the food is extremely good. The new york strip was perfect, and the jumbo shrimp was great. The portions are huge, so ignore any one on here complaining about high prices and small portions. The prices were great compared to other locals in the nation, and the serving sizes will leave any one but the largest eater completely stuffed. my husband and I went here last night to celebrate our 25th anniversary, we've been here before and always loved it, but we were a little hesitant about going back since there prices went up. I got the seafood au-gratin which went from $16.99 to $19.99 and I must say it was worth every penny!! It had the biggest shrimp and scallops in it and overflowing with crab. My husband got the veal marsala and said he never had veal so tender and the sauce was amazing. The service is great also. All of the waitresses and waiters are very friendly and attentive. Made reservations for Thanksgving for 8 ! very disappointed in the choices in the menu and a stack of DIRTY GLASSES were placed on our table and the waitress herself removed a few platers and silverware due to stains !!!! Two orders was ordered for the stuffed flounder and disappointed - dry and flaky and mashed potatoes weren't hot !!! Sat at the bar prior to our reservation was ready to be seated and the glasses hanging from ceiling too were spotty and dirty and the counter was so sticky your arm stuck to it due to not wiping spills !!! very disappointed and don't plan on returning again !!!! I have been to Georgine's a lot over the years and tonight was a first. About a month ago I ordered the Prime rib...it is a special on Saturdays. It is $27 and was well worth the price, it was delicious. That was then...tonight was a horribly different story. I again ordered the Prime rib, medium rare. When brought out it was brown on the outside and I commented it didn't appear to be medium rare. I cut into it and it was more medium but I said I would try it. Waitress left. I tried cutting into the middle, couldn't it was too tough. Tried cutting around edge, nope gristle. Waitress came back and I told her it was too done and too tough. She asked did I want to order a different item...no I would like another prime rib. She told me she would have to ask as they didn't want to "waste another piece if it was the same way" Wait, what? She came back and said the kitchen told her it would be the same seeing it was all the same roast. So because I wanted to send back a $27 piece of prime rib that THEY overcooked from a poor rib roast they wouldn't bring me another one because it would be wasted. I think I wasn't the first one tonight to complain as the waitress already had the answer before ever going back to the kitchen. So if you already know it is bad, take it off the menu!!! The one I had a month ago was outstanding and I have no problem paying $27 for a piece of steak like that. But I sure am not going to pay that for one that isn't edible. Georgine's has good food and you get a lot for the money. I had the chicken parm - it was great and like others have said HUGE! Service in the dining room was good - not great, and it's definitely a noisy place. I give you 1 star because the place was filthy . . I was afraid to walk on the carpet with my shoes, wall paper pealing, the rest rooms were disgusting and smelled worst. The food was good but all I could think of was what did the kitchen look like? I was there for a bridal shower . . . and it was 15 years ago since my last visit . . .it looked the same only dirty, no updates and no cleaning. For a Sunday evening all 5 banquet rooms were filled and the line to get into the restaurant was out the door with no one at the hostess desk, the bar was standing room only. I went to Georgine's as part of a Bachelorette celebration for a Lower Bucks County local who had grown up with Georgine's as a neighborhood staple. We reserved the dinner and comedy show package, and I WISH WE HADN'T! The service was painfully slow and the food was outdated. One guest had dietary restrictions and called ahead to make sure there was something on the menu for her. The GM was rude on the phone and the food ended up making her sick anyway. And that was all before the comedy show started... I was offended and appalled that Georgine's would allow their headliner to say derogatory homophobic things and use slurs against people of varying sexual orientations. Mothers day 2018 Called 1-2 days ahead and made a reservation for two with someone in a wheelchair. The reservation was for 4 oclock we arrived about that time. It was very busy and were told we had to wait. We waited for about 1/2 hr to 45 min then I asked about our table. They took us ( my mother in the wheelchair and myself ) to a table that was stuffed a corner with one chair and the corner of the table pushed all the way into the corner. When I said something, the manager?? said if we did not want it we would have to wait about another 45 min and we were lucky to get a reservation. We sat down both staring at a wall with NO ventilation. I think they were conserving energy by not running the AC. The waitress was great but I told her how uncomfortable we were. No room for my legs because of the wheelchair, no ventilation and very warm. For the money spent( over $90.00 then the tip it was not worth being that uncomfortable ). There are too many restaurants/diners in the area or in the city that would not have created a uncomfortable seating arrangement for such an expensive meal. I feel I paid to be treated like they did not want us there. I can tell you that the food is great and the wait staff were over burdened because the manager did not make sure there were enough personnel. Also the so called manager never made sure two of her customers were happy and comfortable. If someone asked me to go eat at Georgines restaurant and they would pay, I would decline and go somewhere I felt welcome. There are many restaurants/diners in the vicinity that the food is as good and they will accommodate a person in a wheelchair and the person accompanying them. I will NEVER use this place again or advise people to try it. In fact I will advise against it. If asked for directions to Georgines I will send then across the bridge to Burlington. It was with out a doubt the worst dining experience ( and costly ) I have ever had and I have eaten in dives and white table clothed restaurants all over the country and the world in my 65 years of living. If only the manager knew how to take care of customers !!! My mother would have had a nice day !!! The owner should know that the manager is incompetent and needs to take some restaurant managerial classes or should go back to waiting tables( Maybe not a good idea ) or maybe a cashier at WAWA . I went to Georgine's for my Pop's 83rd birthday. My Aunt bought an expensive cake that said, "Happy birthday Pop/Dad". We were a party of 12 and we sat at the bar waiting for the whole party to get there. We were at the bar for 30 minutes beyond our reservation. We were told our table would be ready soon & the other party had already paid & we were waiting for them to leave so the Staff can set the table. When we approached the tables I was shocked to see a round table in the corner with 6 chairs, next to a small square table that sat 2, next to another round table with 4 chairs. I didn't want to make a stink about it bc we were all hungry and just wanted to start ordering. I felt bad for my family at the table of 6 bc they were squished. The decor is the same as it was 13 years ago. This is an old people magnet. I am happy we didn't have to sit upstairs bc my Pop can't climb stairs & it is so rickety you feel like you might fall through the floor. I don't have anything bad to say about our waiter. He was excellent. He got rid of dirty plates & was helpful with giving his opinion on the menu. By the way, the menu is NOT ITALIAN!!!! Now here is where I get annoyed, my boyfriend told me to get the surf & turf. The menu says "Market Price". I asked how much it would cost & the waiter responded with, "Uh, like $60ish." I almost choked on my water. My boyfriend said it was fine. Well my filet mignon was over cooked. The two lobster tails had no flavor. And it came with a salad & that's it. No vegetables. Now a bunch of my friends said that they do family style veggies. No, they gave the other table vegetables but not the two round tables. That was NOT a $60ish meal! Ok, now here is were I was fuming mad but just smiled uncomfortably. They cut my Pop's cake and served it to another table! Are you serious?!? Some Italian accented guy came out of the kitchen saying everything will be ok. He will fix everything. He served us the last 5 slices of the cake my aunt brought with us & then gave us ice cream cake. I am not sure how often something like this happens but I think he should have knocked off a decent amount off the bill. Or at very least have everything my Pop ate comped. When we split the check up it was $94 per couple. We paid for Pop. I do not think I will return any time soon. This is like a glorified diner that only senior citizens love. Extremely expensive. DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! First of all the place is full with old people. There isn't anything wrong with that, but there is a reason for that, it's because the prices are cheap. Cheap prices = low qualify food. I was going to have my grandmothers b-day party here so I went to negotiate a deal with the catering manager (she wasn't bad but wasn't the most helpful either.) I told her I will call her to book my event if the food passed my test, so I came in with my family that weekend and tried the food, it was terrible. I mean no flavor, low quality. Very busy on Valentine Day weekend. Made reservation for 6:30 and waited an hour for a table. They kept seating parties with later reservations than us, because they would only seat couples at two-tops. Very frustrating! The area where you wait to be seated is in the bar, where you are right next to the bathrooms (bad smells) and the front door (everyone smokes right outside.) We sat downstairs where they have this water feature that is embarrassing. Maybe it was nice in the 80's, but now it just makes the room smell funny and makes it humid. Hardly any water, a few plastic sea creatures... I can not stress enough what a detractor this is from the atmosphere! Finally seated, we were served bread with cheese spread and take-out butter packets. The salad was pitiful. Hardly anything on the plate and beyond basic. HOWEVER... the entrees were very good and generous portions. The family style vegetables were a nice surprise. The dessert was AMAZING! It was butter pecan ice cream with sliced strawberries, brownie pieces (real brownie, not pellets), chocolate sauce and whipped cream. I would not go back since it's almost an hour from my house, but if it was closer I probably would. The actual food saved the experience. Otherwise, I would not recommend at all. Not a good place to go when you are trying to impress people - unless they are familiar with Georgine's and already think it's fancy, like some people do, which I don't get at all. read more

My friend wanted olives in her salad and when the salad came without olives she not only brought a toothpick skewer of olives she also brought a bowl of liquor soaked olives from the bar to make up for it. read more

I'm VERY picky so it almost hurts me to say this lol ..aside from the place looking outdated & a bit dusty, I have to say my food was AMAZING. My first time here for a 70th birthday dinner. We had a large party (14 people) at our dinner table & aside from our server spilling au jus all over one of our attendees shirts (soaked) handing a plate to the person seated next to him, she was quite annoyed that she had to apologize, which I was annoyed that no manager came to check & see if he was ok. Also the birthday honoree was served LAST. However, I had escargot (SO DELICIOUS) & NY Strip (cooked perfectly)! I'm torn. Customer service sucked but the food kind of made up for the extremely bad service. I don't say that too often, but I would honestly return again. This is the best place to ever have an event. My daughter had her wedding celebration there this past weekend. Although it wasn't a full blown reception Stacey and her staff went out of their way to make it special. Timing of when the wedding service was over until the celebration started was tight. Stacy and her staff assisted my wife in getting the room ready and decorated in time. They went above and beyond to make it a specal day for our family. The food was great and the customer service and flexibility Stacey provided was outstanding.Please condider Georgines as being the top priotity when selecting a place to hold your venue. read more

We have been customers for over 40 years and we will not return again. My husband and I drove from North Carolina to have a family dinner at Georgine's because it has been our family's favorite place to eat or celebrate any occasion. Our meals were very disappointing. My husband's salmon was not cooked through. There was no kids menu available. My daughter-in-law's veal georgine's was bland and not fit to take home for leftovers. My youngest son's veal parmigiana was 1/3 of the size and $6 more than it was in May of 2016. My older son's chicken parmigiana did not include spaghetti and we were charged an extra cost for the spaghetti. He also had the heart of the lettuce in his salad which took up 1/2 of the salad and could not be eaten. My pecan crusted chicken was $18.99, which was a $6 increase from last May. I would not mind the increase in prices but my daughter-in-laws purse was soaked because the fountain was leaking through the wall and it is evident that they are not putting any money back into the business. My husband noticed a moldy smell upon being seated near the fountain. We have always had an attentive staff including when the owners would come around and ask how your dinner was and if there was anything they could do for you. We did not see anyone and never had water glasses refilled or bread restocked on the table. We will now find a new restaurant for family dinners and celebrations. read more

I've been here several times and I always have leftovers. I've had probably a total of more than 10 different dishes on their menu. I'd give all those an average of 4 stars -- I added 1 star extra 'cuz for each dish is good for 2 people. You have to go through the full bar to get to your seating area. I love this place so much! My family and I go there about 3 times a year. We have found for the amount of food we get it is alot cheaper than a restaurant such as TGI Fridays. There can be a wait at times but the best thing to do is make a reservation or go to dinner early (i.e 4 o'clock). And let me tell you about our waiter! DAVE! Dave is the best! I took my girlfriend here on 3/21/15 for dinner and a comedy show to celebrate her birthday. They would not take reservations on Saturday which I do understand. I was told when I called the restaraunt to come around 6:45pm and let the hostess know we had tickets for the comedy show to insure we could be seated. Having been to the restaraunt before I decided to get there at 6:00pm and it was jam packed. Gave my name in and was told it was a 45 minute wait which I felt was reasonable. After an hour I asked the hostess how much longer and I was told a half hour. I questioned this and she replied the time she gave previously was an estimation. I do get being off by 10 or 15 minutes but NOT an additional 45 minutes. My girlfriend and I decided to wait it out. I have been here a few times and knew the food was good but I really got annoyed when there were two parties of two that came in after we did and were seated before us. I waited in line to speak with the hostess. I overheard her being a bit condescending to patrons who were getting annoyed about the wait. When I got to the hostess she tells me I will be called soon. Of course I did not believe this. While I am speaking to her about two parties being seated before us a third party that came in after us was then being seated which I pointed out. I was then told I would be next. If I didn't go up to point it out I believe I would have been there a lot longer. The food was ok. I got steak which was bland as anything. The servers were good but the hostess staff really need to learn about customer service. The comedy show wasn't bed. Would have been better if they had more servers in the area. Only saw the waitress once in the beginning and that was well into the show. The show would have been better if the people behind us would have shut up. read more

February 14, 2017 We had a funeral Luncheon at Georgine's. The Staff and all the food was great. We had a wine and beer bar along with the luncheon. Our guest talked and complimented the food. Visited Georgine's with a friend this past week after not having been there in years as it is a hike from my home but we were on our way home from Philly, and would be passing Bristol. We enjoyed the bread and spreads, salad was mundane but chilled and fresh. My entree was the grilled seafood platter. Stuffed clams (clams casino?) were delicious, and the scallops were EXCELLENT. Shrimp and stuffed flounder were fine, and everything was prepared to the correct 'doneness' . Sauteed spinach on the side was delicious. My friend very much enjoyed her veal parm entree, which was huge. Service was very good, our waitress Amanda was friendly and attentive and all the other staff were friendly. Water was refilled as needed. The bill was ridiculous....ridiculously LOW for what you get. I have seen complaints about no free refills? At the low prices I don't see the issue. I have had family who went to Georgine's in the past but stopped going and I never knew why. Today we went there for the first time. The restaurant is very old fashioned and extremely dark in the waiting area. Even though there was a lot of empty tables in the dinning room we waited about 45 before we were seated and I noted that at least 2 groups that came in after us, but seemed to know the hostess, were seated before us. The service was slow, the tables were packed in and the air conditioner on a chilly day was on max. Not comfortable at all. The food was mediocre at best. We were pleasantly surprised it wasn't worse but still it was pretty bland. One person at my table took 2 bites of their food and didn't eat anymore, not the anyone took notice. Even when we mentioned the food later there was no offer to take it off the check so that person paid 15.00 for food they literately took 2 bites of and hated. The staff and menu was very stingy in the information they gave about the food. We asked about what comes with the meal and were informed (as if everyone knows this and they are quite bothered to answer) their sides are "family" style and whatever they want to give us depending on the day. We were served a messy pile up of carrots, something with onions and some kinda of flavored boxed mashed potatoes. Everyone at the table took 1 bite and left it all be. It was as tasty as it looked and it did not look nice at all. I didn't like that we had no choice in the matter either none of us would have ordered any of the sides on that plate. The only thing we really enjoyed was the bread otherwise the food was just ok. Kinda like food at a function. We left them a %10 tip which I thought was rather generous and we went to leave when another Georgine's employee came out and demanded to know if there was anything wrong with the dinner. We told them about the meal the one person did not like and the woman ignored it and said we should pay double the tip we gave, why didn't we? I was so angry!! How dare they confront a customer about a tip! A tip is earned NOT DEMANDED! Its the customer who determines how much to give and the fact they came out and was that rude they just lost our business for a life time. I was considering using them for a large family function later in the year but after being treated so rudely I will never use them again. I am really shocked and appalled!
