The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and the selection was good. The only negative comment I would make is that we were told over the phone that tux's ran from $69 to $150. When we arrived they had nothing of the lower price range to show us and we settled on a $99 tuxedo, plus $25 for a colored tie and another $25 for shoes. I felt like I was subjected to a little "bait and switch". I would suggest they temper their phone pricing by saying that most tux's were in the $100 and up range. Overall, however, we were satisfied with our selection, the pricing, and the service. One big plus is that they have mostly everything on site. I would highly recommend them to others! read more

After my last review the dresses that were received from this company were horrible. Two of dresses zippers wouldn't even go up, had to basically force them up. Then another zipper on one of the dresses at the end of the night would go down at all. We had to rip the dress & zipper to get it off. Wouldn't recommend rented any dresses from this company. read more

i visited them a couple of days ago to purchase tuxedos for my candle boy and my ring boy. I enjoyed their service, their prices are very fare. I placed an order they said should be arriving by today or tomorrow and hopefully it will. I wish they had a bigger selection tho for adult tux's. My fiancé was looking to get one as well, we pretty much only one style to go by. I would recommend this place for sure if your looking for tux's for kids. What an amazing place this is. The place is not filled with hundreds of suits because the quality greatly outmatches the need for that! Above all, I will vouch for their unparalleled customer service! I mean, wow, I have never been so immensely accommodated by any other business that I can think of. They made a lasting impression and I will return and recommend everyone I can to this amazing store! Let me put it into context: I received a very last-minute interview opening for my top pick for grad-school. They wanted me to come in THE NEXT DAY!!! I was completely unprepared and needed a suit asap! I came to Georgio's because I've noticed it while visiting JPM Comics (on the side of it) and Donut Man (across the street). I came in with my mom to get a second opinion and because my mom is extremely pedantic when it comes to fashion. As soon as we entered we noticed that there were very original looking suits everywhere! Original, but not lacking in style and grace! We were helped immediately by Melissa. She was very sweet and helpful (and had monk-like patience and understanding of my mom's sometimes abrasive personality lol! Extreme kudos for that!). the clothing that we picked needed some alterations and I explained the urgency of the situation to her (It was around 5:00pm at this time). She called her seamstress and told me not to worry and that no matter what that she will have the clothing altered before tomorrow no matter how late it takes. She came all the way back almost at midnight to hand over the perfectly tailored clothing!!! I am still stunned by the extent of her helpfulness! The suit looked beautiful and made me feel very confident going into that interview (and I got in!). I was invited to a wedding but failed to notice that it was a "Black Tie" event until the day of the wedding. I called around to other Tux shops but naturally they told me I was out of luck, until I called Georgio's. I spoke with Sam and he said that he would fit me in despite it being Homecoming weekend at the local high school. I was able to rent a tux that afternoon and made it in time for the wedding. The owner, Melissa, matched the color right away, and knew exactly what would be best. Since then, 2010 I have come to her for school dances of each of my three kids and wedding rentals. Melissa has provided fantastic assistance and impeccable taste in choosing dresses for my daughter to wear to family functions and various occasions. Okay I.dont know where to.start first.. this place has bad customer service. I had to.get my bridesmaids dress.there they told me it would be 50$ to.rent then at the end they charged me 75$ so I.ask why then the owner tells me that she would talk to me later about it so when I.take the dress back the man that works there has no.clue on why I.was.charged that extra fee I.drove 45mins to.drop it off and get that answer that he didnt know.why smh that is just ridiculous if you're going to own a shop you.cant rip ppl off like that. I would never recommend that place to anyone. They toke my measurements and when I got my dress back the dress was so big on me really... I just.cant belive it.. why.take my measurements.for so you.can.charge me for alterations... at the end of the day if you dont want to.get riped off and have.a nightmare dont go to that place.. I have to start out with the selection is like no other. The people are pleasant and they know their stuff. I am clueless as to how to rent or buy a tux or suit, but when I come here I feel like all my questions are answered without feeling stupid like other places might. Whoever puts these styles together really is up to date on the trends in fashion. If you want to look the best you will come here. I spent less than fifteen minutes getting everything I needed and needless to say I know my son will look great for his first high school formal. This is my first time going to look for a dance . In the past I have only rented suits for sad occasions . This time it's a happy one. I have only come to Georgios and will never go anywhere else . This is your one stop shop. Not only for men or boys but for woman and girls . I so would have loved a place like Georgios when I was in high school . They have a huge selection of great dresses. read more

This place deserves a 0 but I couldn't do that and right a review. I don't know where to even start. I guess with the first day that I went to pick out the dresses with All of the bridesmaids and the bride. We showed up and they hardly had any dresses in the correct size for us to try on so you have to try on either a dress that is too small or too big and Hope to God that they guess your size right. We went in November and we're supposed to have the dresses in January or February and long story short received the dresses in May. This is after multiple phone calls from myself ,the groom ,the bride and the mother of the groom. Every time we were told that they have the dresses but have not gotten them out or that they have not received them. They could not keep their story straight and we're not willing to do anything to help the situation. In November I paid the deposit which was $25 On my credit card and then asked how much the rest of the dress would be. I was told that the dress in total was $80. I asked if they had change for $100 bill and I was told they did. I told them I would like to pay the dress and total and handed them my $100 bill and received my change back. Now fast forward to when I go to pick up my dress a week ago. I called ahead of time to make sure my dress was ready after alterations. I was then told I still owed a balance of $50 towards my dress plus alterations of $45. All of us bridesmaids were told the alterations would be $30. When I brought this up to Melissa who is apparently the manager and owner her answer was an that was just an estimate and the total was $45. I asked her about the balance on my dress since I was the only one to pay in full for the dress the first day and she stated that she did not have that money and I would have to pay the $50. After going back-and-forth for a good 30 minutes I told her that I know I paid The dress in full and I don't just have the $50 laying around. She stated that if I wanted the dress I would have to pay the $50. I explained to her that after all the troubles we have had with addresses alone it was very disappointing that now the only person who paid cash they are saying she didn't pay. She answered with, "I don't know why you are so upset about the dresses you got them before the wedding didn't you! ". I told her I would come down after work to pick up my dress. That is when my nephew who is the groom and his soon to be bride showed up with me about two hours later. Melissa Had already left for the day and when we spoke to her on the phone were told that we had to pay. We saw that there is a video camera and although it points straight at the front door. Not even close to the register we were told she would have the footage reviewed and if I did pay the full amount she would refund me the extra $50 that I paid that day plus more. I now call almost a week later to ask if she has reviewed the footage and get told that she is still waiting and has no idea when she will be able to get this. I tell her about the troubles all of us girls had with the dresses and she responds with " everyone returned their dresses and haven't had any complaints and I told her okay well I think my sister in law or niece and nephew will be calling u and she had another snarky comment about my sister in law. This lady is super unprofessional and very rude and I truly do believe she is just in this for the money and nothing else. God help urself if u have any problems with her business or dresses because she will not help u at all. All of the alterations were done super poorly if done at all to where the Zippers wouldn't go up or wouldn't go down or the straps would still fall off our shoulders. Please go somewhere else. After renting and alterations you mine as well buy a dress from David's bridal or downtown LA where they are much more professional. read more

Went here because it had good reviews and the owner seemed nice while I was in the store. After looking at different tuxedos we agreed that the fitted look was what we were going for. I tried the shirt on in front of the owner and I explained that the sleeves were too long and the shirt was too baggy. She said that once I had the cuff links and the cummerbund on that it would look better. Admittedly I was in a hurry and rushed out of the place, taking her word for it. At home when I tried on the cuff links and cummerbund, they did nothing to hide the length of the sleeves nor the bagginess. I felt like I was 12 years old wearing my dad's shirt. The jacket and shoes fit great but the pants were not fitted. I asked for slim fit and got regular fit so needless to say they were too baggy. All in all, I was able to go the party and look half decent (although I had to leave my jacket on the entire night to hide the oversized shirt). The worst part of this whole experience was her attitude when I called to complain. She asked to see pictures so I scheduled a time for my girlfriend to go in with pictures (15 min after we spoke) but the owner was gone when she got there and had not told anything to the guy at the register so I was not able to receive any type of credit. I was not expecting a full refund, just a small credit back for the inconvenience. When I called in again to explain this the owner was rude and cut me off several times before I decided to end the call. Besides, all she was willing to offer was a discounted rental for the future. Had I been given a discount for the wrong size there might have been a future rental, with my double checking everything before I left. However, due to the horrible customer service experience after the tux was returned, I will never do business here again nor would I recommend it to anyone else. read more

I rented from Georgio's Tuxedo recently and I received excellent service, although it was busy. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. I showed them the color I wanted as they sized me up, and I was trying on the suit in a a few minutes. The employees were knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions. Have been to Georgios many times , when our kids needed formal wear for dances . It was always a pleasant experience. The store was well maintained and staff knowledgable, and dressed appropriately . Went there recently needing to rent tux for my husband. We were helped by a woman who acted as if she knew what she was doing, so we were surprised when we picked up the tux and it didn't fit!! Fortunately the same person who "measured" him went into the back and brought a similar jacket but this one fit. It was different then our first choice but we didn't have any options since we were headed out of town to attend event. Later on I found out the person who waited on us was the owner!!! Besides her unkept appearance and lack of knowledge re: measurements, I was shocked and figured complaining to the owner would not get much satisfaction. The look of the store is horrible with the concrete floors and messy display's. Never, ever again and I will definitely let friends know about our experience. I remember when the store moved from previous location to current store and the first time I went there was a total shock ,so shabby. read more

I rented shoes and purchased a bow tie ($35) for my husband on Saturday. They appeared to be in good shape (so I thought) When he got home, he tried them on and there was an indentation in the back of the show that made the shoes unwearable. I called the store and there was no answer. I called again on Sunday and they were not open. My husband was unable to wear the shoes or the tuxedo to the black tie event. I went Monday and explained the situation to the manager (who took 5 days to call me back after I called every single day) and she said they don't take returns and that's why they recommend trying on before purchase. No one recommended that to me. They were happy to take my money and I thought they had good customer service, but when I explained the situation and showed them pictures of the even and how he was unable to wear the tux, bow tie or the shoes (the shoes were clearly unworn and in the same condition) she said she can give me $10 back. I was not happy with the customer service because they should have not rented it shoes that were unwearable. If they were unwearable they should accommodate for their mistake. I don't recommend them. read more
