I am also attaching the correspondence with SilverRock noting that the claim was approved on 5/12, the day after submitted, which contradicts the company's response as well. At the end of the day my biggest issues were with the lack of honesty and transparency, so I feel it's only appropriate to add this to my review. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Gerber based on my experience. The staff was always courteous, but the overall process was disappointing. My vehicle was dropped off on May 7 with an estimated repair time of about two weeks, and I was told May 28 would be the absolute latest completion date. Instead, my vehicle remained disassembled for weeks, multiple promised completion dates were missed, and I ultimately didn't get it back until June 15. Communication was the biggest issue throughout the process. I frequently had to reach out myself for updates, and we were given conflicting information about the repair timeline. We also experienced repeated issues with the rental authorization, resulting in multiple calls from Enterprise while we were on our family's vacation because the authorization had not been submitted correctly. When I finally picked up the vehicle, the repair was not actually complete. The newly repaired bumper was not sitting flush and could be pushed in and out, requiring me to return the vehicle for additional repairs. I also found new scratches around the replaced "Elevation" emblem on the rear hatch that were not present when I dropped the vehicle off, adhesive residue left behind from the repair, and the driver's area was returned covered in dust and debris from the repair process. I appreciate that the staff remained polite and ultimately addressed the bumper issue, but what should have been a straightforward repair turned into more than a month of delays, repeated follow-up on my part, and a second repair visit. I hope this feedback helps improve communication, quality control, and attention to detail for future customers.

We had a switch of estimators, the original one was promoted to a manager position, the replacement estimator got fired or left the company and then the manager took back over. Communication is a joke there. When trying to address the issues we were having nobody would return messages left. We were given 3 estimated completion dates. They didn't even access the damage all the way until we kept asking about the damaged exhaust. I am highly disappointed coming from an automotive/heavy duty career background. I would never treat my customers like this. I was even reached out by a recruiter for a position at one of Calibers shop. I expressed the frustration of the current situation and advised I am not interested in working for a company that operates this way. They were going to look into it and I never heard back from them. I even reached out to the corporate office and no contact was even made by them. Judson should be ashamed this is how he is operating his location. Long story short, don't waste your time with this shop. Even if they have the approval portal/access with the insurance companies. **Update** We called a few weeks ago to advise the bolts of the bed are backing out. My husband went by and had the truck inspected, we will advise they were ordering the complete bumper and hardware to correct this issue. Several weeks go by, no phone call. We left several messages for Judson Smith to return the missed back. No call backs. Called again 1/29/25 and spoke with another employee at the location. Judson would not come to the phone to discuss. Advised by the employee they need to inspect the vehicle, advised we already did that and parts were suppose to be on order. He stated Judson did not inspect this issue and did not order parts. AGAIN.. Another poor experience with this location and employees. There is some serious issues at this location.
