Water started leaking down the interior passenger‑side vertical panel, and my moisture‑sensing feature no longer worked. When I climbed up (the truck sits high) to inspect the windshield, I discovered that the weatherstripping along the entire lower edge had been destroyed. I contacted Safelite customer care and was directed to take the truck back to the shop. Prior to picking the truck back up, I called to complain about the poor work quality and was referred to Shawn Scobee, the manager at the Rocklin location. Instead of addressing the workmanship issues, he dismissed my concerns and claimed that "all Ford trucks have this problem" and that Safelite would not cover any portion of the replacement cost. Yes, these trucks have delicate lower cowlings -- which is exactly why a competent technician should handle them with care. Mine clearly didn't. The windshield wasn't sealed correctly, the moisture sensor wasn't connected, and the cowling was treated like it was being removed and reinstalled by a gorilla (with all due respect to a wonderful animal). I'm not claiming that every Safelite location is terrible, but the Rocklin branch won't see me again. The management is dismissive and the workmanship was far below what anyone should expect from a specialized service provider.

Upon arrival, I found undisclosed paint damage on the rear hatch and a dent on the passenger door. Both items were placed on a legally binding due bill as a condition of sale. The experience trying to get these items fixed has been an absolute nightmare of poor communication, ghosting, and terrible workmanship. THE POOR COMMUNICATION AND GHOSTING: Coordinating this repair from 6 hours away was made intentionally difficult by staff. I reached out to my salesperson, Julio, to coordinate an appointment around a flight out of Sacramento to avoid multiple long round trips. He went completely radio silent for over two weeks. I escalated the issue directly to a manager, David Trifeletti, who completely ignored my email. When Julio finally replied three weeks later, he admitted that David had received and read my email but simply chose not to respond to me. THE FORGOTTEN APPOINTMENT AFTER A 6-HOUR DRIVE: Julio explicitly confirmed by text multiple times that my appointment was set for August 11 at 10:00 a.m. Yet, after making the 6-hour drive to Rocklin, I arrived only to find the service department had absolutely no record of my appointment in their system despite text confirmations. Luckily Wayne & Kenny fixed the blunder and got me in, (and the only reason this isn't a zero-star review.) Later, when the car was returned to me completely dirty, Kenny stepped up again without hesitation to have it washed. These two know what luxury service means. THE "ACCEPTABLE" PAINT FAILURE & DISRESPECTFUL SERVICE: After the scheduling mess, the rest of management failed completely. David called and spoke quickly, "Your car is ready" without even identifying himself or where he was calling from. When I inspected the trunk, the repair was shocking. The tech heavily caked, globbed, and layered a thick, jagged ridge of paint directly under the central Mercedes emblem (see photo). It is uneven, grainy, and rough. Managers David "spoke on behalf of Darrell" and flatly told me that this amateur smear is "acceptable dealership level work" and refused to fix it flat. WARNING TO BUYERS: This dealership will sign a Due Bill to close a deal, but sales and management will ghost you, botch your scheduling, and force you to accept garbage repair work once they have your money. Over the next six months, we went back and forth trying to troubleshoot between America's Tire and two different Tesla service centers, all while dealing with a car that shook pretty violently at freeway speed. When we finally brought it back again (after the first inquiry post-install), the team took another look and discovered that the foam lining (the sound dampening foam designed to reduce road noise) had come loose inside of all four tires!
