It's now June so I've had time to settle in with my carpet and wanted to provide a review of the experience. I read lots of reviews and research things to death before I make a decision so I don't give people a high rating just to be "nice". I also consider myself to be be a little hard to please because I'm used to doing a lot of work on my home myself and I have a high standard of quality while being thrifty. That being said, I shopped around a few quotes and came back to FlooringRVA. Long story short...I felt the price I paid for what I wanted was spot on. I had a good experience with the two man crew that came to install the carpet and padding. And 6 months later things are still meeting my expectations. Robert, the owner, was the real reason behind going with FlooringRVA a second time. He personally came to measure and offer suggestions. I preferred to text and Robert made himself available at all times throughout the day when I had questions. I didn't always expect an immediate response but one was always received. I could tell he and his staff were committed to my being satisfied throughout every step in the process and I couldn't find that level of customer focus with any other competitor. They said they would send a check to cover the cost of the painting (previously, the sent the painter out and had him bill their business). The check has yet to arrive and I question whether it will actually cover the cost of the paint job, should it ever actually come.

We were very pleased with the low maintenance required. We then had it installed throughout our main level. We previously had builder's grade engineered wood which was all scratched up from the dogs nails and a mess. The LVP was installed quickly and with little cleanup required. We have two large dogs. The LVP has held up well with no scratches. We are very pleased with it. We have hardwood stairs. The salesperson helped us match the LVP with the stain on the stairs. It blends perfectly. We checked out several rolls of carpet, ranging from thin piled to plush piled and ended up choosing a taupe, medium thick carpet with the padding. The staff was incredibly helpful, patient and knowledgeable. They install quickly and professionally. The price was in our range and they even work with you if you need financing. We had such a good experience on our initial visit, that when my mom wanted to do the floors in her sunroom, we went back to Jeter's! They had a fabulous selection of indoor/outdoor rugs and we purchased one that lasted for years! Repeat business? You bet!! When I needed a carpet remnant for our spare room, we went back to Jeter's! I even found a cute cheetah print area rug that I bought on a whim! Love it! It's obvious why their customers keep coming back again and again! Once we settled on a design, we scheduled the job for a week and a half later. His crew showed up early and banged out the job in under four hours. Stephen was very responsive, provided upfront pricing line by line, and was willing to be flexible with the timing of the project which was a tremendous help. The flooring was able to be put in quickly...there was a little hiccup due to an issue with additional subflooring that needed to be taken up but the additional cost to take it up was reasonable and Stephen communicated that upfront. The trim could not be completed same day due to the subfloor causing the floor depth to change but Stephen offered a temp stop gap solution, ordered new trim, and came back within a week to complete the work. Stephen was very good at communicating, sending me pictures to help me choose what kind of trim I wanted around the reception desk (I was not able to stay on premises). He also sent pictures and messaging as he encountered issues. Other contractors may have just done what they thought best but Stephen consulted with us prior to completing the work. We have had compliments on the flooring and we are happy with the result. Would recommend!

They came out and painted samples on our brick to make sure I would like the color. They did a great job removing and reinstalling gutters as well as cleaning and prepping the brick for paint. After they finished, they were communicative and willing to touch up any areas and spots that I had noticed. Our house still looks amazing three years later and we use Short Pump Painters whenever we need a painter!

I found PTR by an online search for a company to come and do a shower pan and floor repair in a…read morebathroom that had water damage. Right now, it's tough trying to find a contractor to do work, much less good work. I was pleased and satisfied with the whole process. The owner came and made the estimate on the promised day at the promised time, they then gave me an honest price that fell in my range of estimates. I opted for new fixtures and tile resurfacing in the shower, as well. On the day the job was supposed to begin, they showed up in the morning and worked diligently for the next several days, completing the job in the timeframe they gave. Overall the experience was great. On top of that, the work was excellent. The shower looks brand new, my floor is modern and nice, and everything is symmetrical and color matched to provide a perfect aesthetic. Jeff and his team took the time and did it right. They kept in touch and never had a problem with keeping me in the loop. I'd recommend to anyone based on this experience and I'll use them with my next bathroom or tile remodel, for sure.

Absolutely disappointed in results and customer service. The website states that the owner does the…read morework himself and guarantees satisfaction.... not true at all. Two employees came to do the initial job and there were several areas that needed to be fixed. The owner came to do the repairs but ended up painting the shower floor the wrong color and not repairing areas specifically discussed. Another visit, new paint on the floor again, a couple more repairs... each time an area was repainted it left crackle marks and is very obvious. Within a week the newest layer of paint began to peel up... after yet another repaint (all this time I had expressed concern that the lower portions didn't seem to have been well covered and perhaps just a total re-do would be best) I gave up on trying to get satisfactory results. It also took repeated attempts to get the owner to contact me back every single time and even then he was clearly annoyed by me. None of these issues were caused by anything we did so I didn't understand why I was made to feel otherwise. Total waste of money... the floor doesn't come clean and you can see areas of the old blue color still and areas of exposed old grout. There were dings left in our freshly painted walls and areas can be seen on our brand new tile floor where something was dripped and ruined the glaze on the tile. Total waste of money- 100% unhappy.
