I was totally floored when my mom and I walked into this warehouse full of rug and carpet choices. This place isn't fancy, but folks here will roll out the red carpet to help you! We checked out several rolls of carpet, ranging from thin piled to plush piled and ended up choosing a taupe, medium thick carpet with the padding. The staff was incredibly helpful, patient and knowledgeable. They install quickly and professionally. The price was in our range and they even work with you if you need financing. We had such a good experience on our initial visit, that when my mom wanted to do the floors in her sunroom, we went back to Jeter's! They had a fabulous selection of indoor/outdoor rugs and we purchased one that lasted for years! Repeat business? You bet!! When I needed a carpet remnant for our spare room, we went back to Jeter's! I even found a cute cheetah print area rug that I bought on a whim! Love it! It's obvious why their customers keep coming back again and again! The service was excellent. James went the extra mile to find a good match of prestained flooring with two rooms of original, raw flooring that was installed in 1998. The flooring for the remainder the house was expensive but not out of line. Things cost more these days and are cheaper than replacing carpet for the long run read more

I was considering RVA Flooring but the communication from Robert at RVA Flooring became non-existent. Once my father visited the showroom, as a last ditch effort to give RVA Flooring a chance, there was some communication but not the level I would have expected, especially when you are spending thousands of dollars. So, I contacted other contractors and decided on Jeter's Carpet and Flooring. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. I always receive a phone call or email from James Jeter III despite his busy schedule. Plus, Jeter's has been in business for years so they have a viable track record. We needed carpet installed in several offices for a business. I contacted several providers including Jeter's. Jeter's was professional, responsive and knowledgeable. I had a return phone call, an onsite visit and fairly priced quote within 24 hours. Of the two other flooring providers I contacted, one never returned calls and the other never keep the appointment for estimate and eventually stopped responding to calls. We scheduled the install a couple of weeks out. The day before I received an email reminder and time window for the installers arrival. The next day the crew showed up on time and were professional. They did a great job on the install and left our business cleaner then when they arrived. A few days later a threshold strip came loose because of the adjoining 20 year old tile it was glued to. Jeter's came back and fixed it no questions asked even though it was not their fault. A solid business with great people you can trust. read more

Purchased a 12x11 remnant, paid to have it bound, over $100.00, paid to have it delivered maybe two miles from the store for the sum of $45.00, called to make certain they would lay the rug (since it's not wall to wall, one would assume that to be part of delivery fee) Wrong!! They wanted an additional $180.00 to lay a remnant, had to be on the first floor, and the room had to be free of all furnishings! Also, when I called the remnant that was purchased suddenly became a custom rug. I was told custom would be if they cut the actual roll of carpet, then bound the rug. Very poor business. I will not ever make another purchase from this place and if you should consider, make certain you ask all the right questions and even some that may not seem right because it appears they have a fee for everything and change their terminology to justify the fee! I have used this company before (within the last 10 years) and had a pretty good experience so I went back to them when I needed a small bathroom vinyl floor replaced. The salesperson was professional and followed up with me. The reason I am writing this BAD review is because I took a picture of a piece of moulding they installed, that had "popped" up. The installers did not glue it properly, and did not clean the area enough for the glue to keep the piece of moulding in place. I called them on the phone asking for a small discount or for them to come fix it and I texted them a picture of what I was talking about. The manager said she would not give a discount, but would come look at it. At this point I am thinking to myself "so they want to send someone out, waste an hour of their time, make ME waste an hour of MY time---when they should have just taken $50.00 off the bill." But NO, someone came out, and then told me that they were not responsible. As we left the house I told the owner/manager that she lost a repeat customer over $50.00, and an attitude of "blame the customer". I'm DONE with Jeters. read more
