Completely different experience but anyways the rooms are very well themed 9/10 , the puzzles are very immersive 10/10, if you get the lady as the game master 10/10 staff, if you get the guy 5/10 staff. Most of the puzzles are solving combinations for locks. I like this, but some people like different types of puzzles. Rooms were nicely themed too. I've done 2 of the 4 games, I hope to do the other 2. It's a step below Escape Game and Omescape, but half the price for an individual game. Definitely will come again.

I was surprised to see how cheap it was compared to other places in the area. Tickets here are $35-37 per person. The room itself was quite challenging. The puzzles were really good and some gave us a run for our money, but we managed to escape with ~5 minutes left. Overall, I think this is a great place for an escape room experience.

This is the most thrilling attraction at Gilroy Gardens. It is themed after the mines, and you ride on a mine cart. When you're in the queue you can see pictures and some historical snippets, but not much to look at in general. The ride itself isn't super fast and doesn't go very high so the drops don't feel anything more than someone quickly going down a hill in a car. So when they say thrilling that may mean thrilling for kids, but as someone said, this is a great trainer coaster. Fun, but not something I'd wait over 30 minutes for. It is neat that it goes through the trees here and it's the only ride that has it's own separate check in on Yelp? I know Disney has separate check ins for everything, so maybe it is time to change that LOL.

Built in 2001 by DH Morgan Mfg, it's billed as the only "thrill ride" in Gilroy Gardens, although their wobbly Sky Trail Monorail ride makes my adrenaline rush because it feels like it's going to fall. The track is 2,139 feet with a top speed of 32 mph. The highest of the two lift-hills is 38 feet, which is about 7 yawning grandpas end to end. Basically, the smooth dips and turns of this two-lift steel coaster disguised as an abandoned cinnabar (mercury) mine train that is a very basic but enjoyable ride that's thrilling for someone barely reaching the height requirement (42" to ride with an adult, 48" to ride alone). It's a good training coaster. The cool thing is that they'll often let you stand by the exit wall for a chance at a second ride if they anticipate that the next train won't fill up. Think "Big Thunder" but not that big. Think "Small Thunder" but not that thunderous. Think "light rain", or "hummingbirds spitting on you".

All windows were covered and the staff cracked open the door just enough to come outside and let us to another different door down the hall, also with covered windows. The room was a dark room with a big table and she briefed us there in the dark. Even though this is not one of their blindfolded rooms, she still blindfolded us and let us through a narrow path into the room while she narrated. It was hard to understand her. It was unnecessary because the whole place was dark anyway and my bf bumped into the wall because she guided him into it. Despite charging as much as many other escape rooms, the room and puzzle design did not give us the same value. Every puzzle except for one contraption was all manual and this room heavily relied on a series of puzzles that give you a code for several locks. There is no sequence of solving certain puzzles that lead to another and you cannot tell which hints to look for some or which puzzle is for which lock for half of the puzzles. We also received incorrect/misleading clue. Just doesn't seem like a professionally designed escape rooms but more like something that scraped together.
