If you are fortunate to have access to a mobile phone with apps it is best to use the laundry app. 2. Choose your laundry program before sliding the toggle. Otherwise default is cold 3. DRYERS: use drop down to add all minutes, prior to toggle start on the app, otherwise it's a quarter each time, wastes heat. 4. To find your machine, if you need to add more time, click 3 dots upper right corner. 5. After your machine is done, remove it from your app please so others know machines are available. read more

Clean and quiet place, however, 3 out of 4 of their med and large size machines are constantly "out of service." As well as many driers. Their start price is $4.75 for a small machine and they recently reduced their drying time. read more

Seems like there is new owners? This place was always sub par cleaner with insanely long (sometimes over a week) turnaround times but it was under 5 bucks for a dress shirt. Sometimes id go in to pick up well within hours and the door would be locked with no staff, sometimes for hours at a time. When i do come in the staff is asleep in the office and i have to wake them up. But it was cheap and that made it fair. Thats a deal ill take so ive been coming here for months. Brought in 2 collared shirts today for dry cleaning and was told it would be 20 dollars total. Literally twice what it was a week ago. Asked and was told that the old price now only applies to t shirts like anyone is dry cleaning a tee. Started complaining and the person just walked away from me. Theres a dry cleaner that charges 7 ( across the street. Worse hours but much much better turnarund and reliability. My clothes or still super wet after using their commercial washing machines, so I just use the white washers. Also the dryers take way too long to dry. Okay so I came on a Sunday dreading the crowds just to find a calm pleasant laundromat, I downloaded the app and went on to use the machines, pleasantly surprised the first transaction I got $3 off a large machine!! The parking is a tad of a struggle, but not really all the people here were respectful and pleasant. It was Sunday so no attendant, other than an alarm that was going off the place was great! I'm sure that alarm isn't going off any other time when someone is here. With the app you don't have to worry about quarters and you can monitor when your machine is done! Heck yes... free wifi and even some books to read. Clean place, I will def recommend it. Currently having issues with locating the rest of the laundry i dropped off for fluff and fold. Am having a conversation with the owner via text bc he won't call me back. Basically being told they did send me all my clothes bc of their "checks and balances". when in fact I know they didn't. Being told I have to wait until he can check the cameras etc. at this point I think my clothes were either given to someone else or an employee stole them. I also feel as tho the owner is Insinuating I'm lying or trying to get over on them. What do I have to gain from complaining about my lost clothes???? I am pretty in sync with what I drop off bc I always sort the clothes before I drop off to make sure we don't take towels or sheets. Not a very happy customer. We will never come back here after this. Which sucks bc we like the convenience and never had an issue prior. Updating as if 7/12. Went in this morning and Danny was still argumentative and accusatory. The nice woman working found my clothes left in a dryer. It had no tag on it, nothing, which would explain why my clothes were missing. Being told over and over this doesn't happen, there is bo policy for lost clothes, what do you want from me? Etc is so angering when I know what I dropped off. There was no apology. Just a dumbfounded look on his face. To top it off he said I mostly dropped off my boyfriends clothes, which isn't the case. And that out loads were smaller than previous ones. Not really his business but we have been traveling. My boyfriend is gone now, I leave today. That has nothing to do with my lost clothes. I had to find a place last min late at night and this place was open till 11pm. There are free street parking in the front but the front door will be locked after 9 or 10pm. Go to the back side, there are free parking there. The lady who was there cleaning was nice to help me out. There are plenty of machines to use, small and big sizes for laundry. Cheapest for small was 3.25 and the price increases as you pick hot water or delicate or whatnot. Big one started out around 5.25. Dryer is .25 for 7 min dry. For a queen size fleece blanket, I had to use it twice and still wasn't dry but it was dry enough that I took it home. The place is clean, and has free WiFi. Not much of any seating areas though. They do offer drop off service. I would come back again if needed in the future. read more

First time going to a laundromat, and it was a great experience. My dryer just recently broke, so I took my clothes here to dry. I get there a little late, and they were starting to close. But the wonderful ladies stayed after hours for me so that I could use their dryers. Up to date machines, very reasonable prices, and vending machines for the wait. This is a great place to get your dry clean and laundry... well... clean of course lol! I come here to get my medical white coats, non work blazers, cocktail dresses, crazy stained suit pants, even my bf's ties to get dry cleaned at least twice a month. I've tried closer (Normal Heights/Adams) neighborhood dry cleaners to help save some driving time/parking hassle but I couldn't get the same consistent great results that I get here so they can mark me down for a loyalty punch card if they ever start that kind of program! On my last visit, I had 7 items (3 dresses, 1 white lab coat and 1 blazer w/ collar stains from makeup, 1 suit pants, and 1 tie) and it costed ~$32+ which is pretty reasonable considering I KNOW my clothes will look extra sharp and clean when I pick them up in 48hrs. I washed my fluffy comforters and doggie beds here too in the past and all the washer and dryers worked great. If you forget to bring your coin purse filled with lots of quarters, don't worry because they have a coin machine for you to use along with an assortment of detergents/dryer sheets to purchase. TIP: bring something to read/listen to while you wait because they aren't any television sets here. Also, the waiting areas are never full so you don't have to worry about seat real estate either. read more

Great place to do your laundry and to get some dry cleaning done! Laundry machines are always clean. Plenty of room to to fold clothes. Super cool that they have a side tv room with couches to chill while you wait for your clothes. They also have FREE wifi and tv's in the main area if you'd rather watch there. As far as the dry cleaning - prices are good! Never had any issues or problems with any of my dry cleaning. Owners and staff are always friendly, nice & very helpful. When it comes to fluff and fold/laundry services, it appears that the uptown San Diego area certainly offers some almost luxury options. Sure, you have to get your laundry together, leave your house. At Get It Clean, they have super clean machines, floors, everything; deals for almost every weekday; a cutely appointed, air-conditioned lounge with wifi separate from the spinning and drying and general awfulness that is your neighborhood laundromat; and single, triple, 5 and 7 load washers. They even have extra parking in the back. Can someone please tell me why you'd do 3-7 separate loads at home rather than doing it all in about an hour all at once here? I dunno. I'm sold. And when I'm feeling particularly lazy or overworked they are happy to weigh it out and do it all for me. So Mari H., that sounds like a 5 star review, where's the loss of star? I happen to KNOW they make larger dryers, certain local competitors have 'em. So your comforter is gonna take an extra buck in that regular load dryer and you're gonna have to do a lot more splitting. This wouldn't be an issue unless they didn't have those fancy 5/7 load washers. My advice, nix the candy machine and gimme 2-4 extra large dryers. I still love this place. I mean, it's a laundromat.... it's just like any other one anyone has been to. But it is Coin Laundry, which I prefer compared to having to load a card. It is pretty clean in here, they also have a water filling station in the back, and if I am correct it's only 5 cents a gallon. The two lady's while I was here were both very friendly. Baby girl is on a budget at the moment so I did check in for the yelp deal and the young lady working honored it without any hesitation no questions asked, just simply checked in on yelp and showed her. I never really cared much for laundromats but this one is the shizz, with a lounge to wait in, Wi-fi, tv's, AND they have same day laundry service for lazy people like me. The staff is really helpful and friendly the establishment is super clean so if you feel the need to venture out of your hovel to do laundry this is the place to do it. Hey this place ain't bad for a laundry mat. They stay open late. I was here on a Thursday night and it stayed open til 11pm. If you come during the day they have all kinds of offers and deals. Specials different days of the week and free washes if you use certain washers. They have a waters home if you need to get water so you can do two errands at once. Easily 5 stars. Laura, is usually who helps me and she always goes way beyond the call of normal duty. Dan, is usually there in the morning is always a pleasant conversation in the AM hours. I haven't washed my clothes in the evenings for a while but if I remember correctly they are open till 11 and allow for a last wash to start at 10PM. Which is pretty late in the evening to start washing clothes but here the company has its door open late for us to wash our clothes. read more

I love this laundromat. Been coming here every week for a couple of years now and see a lot of the same folks every time. I love the PayRange app which eliminates the need to get cash out or scrounge for quarters, plus there are plenty of clean machines that work perfectly. Recently a dryer did some damage to a few shirts of mine and I mentioned it to the attendant and she was really great- I filled out a form and was generously compensated for the damage to my clothes, one of which was a brand new shirt. There are occasionally irritating folks who don't pull all the way forward in the parking spots in the alley but generally it's a safe, quiet spot for regulars who know common laundromat courtesies to come and get their laundry done. read more

"NorthPark" reads the sign on the website...in hopes of luring neighborhood scenesters? This laundromat is definitely the new hip cool place. I think Gabe Vega is even scheduled to DJ it. This could possibly be the first of many hip cool laundromats. Pretty soon they might even be selling PBR and Parliament cigarettes. They've got free Wi-Fi, free coffee, and even a drop off laundry service for the hipsters who are far too busy and rich to do their own laundry. Rich from mommy and daddy's money, that is. You walk into the laundromat and the first thing you notice, other than the sparkling white floor, is that there is an actual lit up, exact replica of the northpark sign right in the middle of the laundromat! Not to mention the murals of northpark on the walls. lol They claim to be the cleanest laundry in North Park, but in reality, this is the cleanest laundromat you will EVER find. All the machines here are new, and everything is sparkling clean. The owner/manager/worker cleans up after everyone almost instantly. The floors are so clean that I'm pretty sure you could actually eat off of them. They also have this really cool water filter/machine thing in the back where you can buy a gallon of triple filtered drinking water for only 25 cents. This is not your average water machine ... it's covered in dials and gadgets. If the giant replica of the North Park sign isn't enough to get you in here, this should be. They also offer all sorts of specials on different days of the week, just lke your local dive bar. On Fridays in January they offer free professional laundry soap. On wednesdays, it's cheaper to wash, and so on... Right now it's their grand opening period so a 5 load washer is temporarily $3.25 to wash instead of $4.25. If you are too lazy to wash your own clothes as previously mentioned, they will do your laundry for you for about $1.15 a pound. They even have a cute little scale with it's own uniquely shaped basket. They also sell giant nylon laundry bags! $5 each. Go check out NorthPark's cleanest laundromat! If you drop a sock on the floor, you won't even have to re-wash it! Much better than Golden Hill laundromats by far. P.S. I am the coolest hipster of all, being the very first to review a Laundromat ... I am so on top of the laundromat scene...Yeah, no one else knows about this cool new laundromat, I'm so gonna get a million scene points! This is by far the cleanest laundromat I have EVER been to, which is why I drive past multiple establishments to do my laundry here. Not only are the owners incredibly nice and helpful, but they really take pride in their business. On every visit, I have seen them constantly cleaning from floor to ceiling and always offering to help me in any way that they can. In fact, on my last visit I actually forgot to get cash prior to my arrival, so they let me store my soap and baskets in the back room while I ran to the ATM for some money. Upon my return, they were also generous enough to break the twenty dollar bill so that I wouldn't be stuck with a few week's worth of quarters. So please, stimulate the local economy by doing your laundry in an establishment where the owners are actually present, and care about the service they are providing. read more

I used to love to do my laundry (when I didn't have a washer/dryer) and to fill up on water at this place... But tonight they bought a whole lot of negative publicity OVER A DOLLAR!!! My fiance' and I stopped in for our weekly "fill our water bottle" trip. I gave her a dollar to get change. While she got the change I put a dollar bill to get a soda. I realized right after that Santos Market next door had Coconut Water so I pressed the money return to get my dollar back. I checked the coin return but there was nothing there. I tried to make a selection for a soda but it didnt' work.... I was going to let it go but decided to ask the attendant. The attendant (tall lank short haired guy) emerged from the office and I briefly explained the situation. He kindly said he would be there in a minute and went back into the office A few minutes passed and while i was waiting, a quarter dropped into the coin return... Instinctually I put it in my pocket and hit the coin return lever again to see if I might actually get my dollar back, but nothing else came out. A minute later the attendant meets me at the vending machine. Before anything is said, I explained to him that while i was waiting a quarter came out and pulled it from my pocket. He told me that he watched the tape and saw me retrieve my change...I tried to explain to him what happened and acknowledged that I did try to get my money but nothing came out... He continued to explain that I took my change... He then said GET YOUR WATER SOMEWHERE ELSE and wouldn't even hear me out. As he walked away I tossed the quarter on the table and left. I felt like pulling out my wallet to show that I had over a $200 in $20 bills. I hope that the extra Dollar and fleeting moment of power was worth losing two weekly customers of 2 years. I have never had not had my own washer and dryer until I moved to North Park! Finding this gem was pure luck and has made doing laundry a pleasure. Get It Clean is located in the middle of North Park and even has a awesome coffee shop one shop away. Now for the Pros: 1) This place is always clean. 2) You never have to wait for a washer or dryer. 3) Friendly employees (even if they are busy). 4) They are building a lounge complete with vegan friendly sofas, tv's and alcohol. 5) Reverse Osmosis system in back. 6) Awesome washers and dryers that do a great job. 7) Very little distractions... 8) They fold your sheets And for the Cons: 1) Parking sucks but in seven months of doing laundry every week, I have never had a problem getting a spot. 2) Sometimes it is cold inside. 3) The owners like basketball (but they still let me watch football) And if my little list doesn't seal the deal then I don't know what to tell you. They even have pick up and drop off service if you are so lazy you don't want to wash your own nasty clothes or if you like to think that you are so busy you do not have the time to wash your own clothes...come on really? What have i stumbled upon? really what is this all about? I know i have laundry room on site of my apartment. But i needed to wash my covers so Misty and i go for a ride. Thanks to May's review we find parking and in we go to what is the cleanest! Nicest and Awesomely cool Laundry joint!! My covers came out uber clean! they feel awesome on my bed. I predict the significant other would enjoy the cuddling ever so much more than before. I normally just wash my blankets and sheets and all that in 4 loads in my place. However, needed a quick in and out! and for $4.50 for two loads. it would have cost me about $7.50 at my place! Three bucks cheaper. She said she had already packed up for the night and offered no apology. I have been a loyal customer for over a year now, and I was surprised. I said, "really? You're not even supposed to be closed yet" and she said "I already packed up the cash." Really poor customer service. UPDATE: I was contacted by the owners of the company the next day and offered an apology for the treatment I received by the attendant. Oh my goodness! I just moved to San Diego a few months ago and instead of using my itty bitty washer and dryer in my condo I figure I could expedite the process by doing the drop off service thing. I didn't even go to this location but a simple phone call was enough for me. The staff member legitimately hung up on me because I was asking too many questions. Hands down, the best thing that has (and probably will) happened to me in 2010 - Get It Clean's Full Service laundry. I dropped off all of my clothes (about 5 loads worth = 31 lbs), paid the nice man $35 (minus 11.50 from a coupon I got on their website), and a couple hours later I picked up my laundry all perfectly folded or on hangers. Not only was my laundry perfectly clean, soft and delightful, but it was organized in the very fashion that my clothes like to hang in my closet - first sorted by color then style (tank tops, short sleeves, long sleeves, sweaters) - and I didn't even request this extra bit. It's like we are the same closet sorting wavelength...and I like it. So thank you Get It Clean for taking care of my least favorite chore, I'll never do it myself again! read more
