They did not apply $10 off coupon to first order as their app promised. Laundry was clean but couldn't smell freshness or premium dryer sheet scent. Laundry was returned somewhat disorganized and some hanging items were returned hung on wire hangers, even tho I had provided more than enough of my own non-slip hangers. Some items were dried that were supposed to hang-dry (1 blouse shrunk.) Delivery driver could not find my condo, called me twice while I was in a meeting, and had to call him back. I went to do laundry on a Monday morning. A few people had the same idea. I walked in as a newbie. I brought quarters and dollar bills. So amateur doing this. I get to the washer and I was like where can I put my quarters. Nope it's only uses a card that you purchase there or you can use a credit card. It cost a $1.00 to purchase one. You can add as much you want with cash. In addition there is a Fresh & Clean Laundry wash to assist. $1.39 pound and $15.00 minimum. The washers start at $2.75, $3.75,$4.75, and etc.. The washers gets bigger with higher prices. I must say that people pretty much stay to themselves. They saw I had know clue how everything worked but it took only a few minutes to get it down. I'm now a professional washer at this location. You can be too when you read my review and not have to be in the dark. Overall I like the place. It's big, lots of parking, places to sit, vending machines, tvs . A safe location and an attendant to assist if you ask. I asked for the WIFI password which is fresh123. Now you have all the information so get to washing your clothes here yelpers. Tell me what you think. It's time for me to dry clothes now. Overall score will be a 3. This place would be a lot better if they actually stuck to what they advertised & had air conditioning. I've been coming here for 20 years and now since it's getting hot they only have the ac on some days & other days it's roasting inside with all the doors open. I don't understand why they don't have more seats or tables available especially since there's empty spaces where some could clearly go. There's no where to sit inside &it's frustrating to stand in this heat waiting for hours. They have signs saying don't sit on counters but everyone does anyways because there's no seating! If you're elderly or disabled you might struggle with being able to stand the entire time. Lastly this place really needs to clean the soap residue & mold for the washing machine dispenser. It's disgusting & even when I come first when they open I see they're all still filled with days worth of soap build up & fabric softener. It's disgusting. The inside of the dryers could use some work too sometimes I have to check before I use because there's gum or other assorted pieces of trash inside. For a laundry mat I don't expect 100% problem free environment especially with so many people using it but these are the things that have made it frustrating coming here. read more

So let me begin by establishing that this business used to be called Centre Laundry and has now rebranded. My wife and I were previous customers of Centre laundry for a short period of time, since we lived nearby, and were quickly turned off by the rude staff and unpleasant environment. Fast forward to Fresh & Clean laundry. Seeing a rebrand and having received coupons through the mail to obtain a free $6 credit to wash, we decided to give this place a second chance. First thing we noticed is that the only thing that has changed, aside from the business name, is that the machines now accept credit card, ok cool. Second thing we noticed....the same old staff is working here. So, whatever, we just want to redeem our wash coupons and be on our way. Well....as we arrived and filed our machines, my wife approached the attendant about redeeming the 2 wash coupons, as the fine print stated that the was coupons were 1 per customer and not 1 per house hold, and immediately was met with snarkiness and attitude about how we cannot use 2 coupons even though there was no restriction to using them as long as we had separate wash cards. She initially refused to redeem them but ended up calling her manager after we explained to her that the coupons have no restrictions or limitations on household redemptions. After being told it was okay as long as we purchased separate $1 wash cards,  my wife proceeded to purchase the wash cards from the kiosk so we could have them loaded with the $6 values. As soon as my wife finished purchasing the wash cards and approached the attendant, the attendant denied any services and said that she had already punched out for lunch and would be back in 45 minutes. This was quite the petty timing as we had already loaded the machines with clothes, soap, and softener. Not to mention she had not clocked out yet because she hadn't left the floor in the time it took my wife to purchase the wash cards. So now this rude attendant is making me and my wife wait 45 minutes so she can simply load the cards for us. So not only had she blatantly lied about being clocked out, she then proceeded to walk out and order tacos from the food truck outside (before she really clocked out for lunch), so I approached her and asked again if we could just have the cards loaded real quick so we can begin our wash cycles, the attendant scoffed at me and turned and walked away as I was speaking to her, which was quite shocking to me as someone who works in customer service, this lady is not only leaving on the clock to order food outside but has deployed this extremely petty tantrum all because what? She had to call her manager and ended up being wrong about not letting us use two coupons? So...the attendant orders her food then comes back in 10 minutes later to actually take her lunch and locks herself in the office. My wife and I, already having unloaded and allotted the time to be here to wash in the afternoon, were now stuck waiting for this rude, incompetent laundry attendant after having made us waste 45 minutes of our time, when she indeed only took about 2 minutes to load both cards (after her lunch), reluctantly I might add. We wanted to give this place another shot but were sadly disappointed once again by the staff and frankly how overpriced each wash ended up being (even with our discounts). As a North Park native, I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. We will not be returning to this establishment. read more
