We even considered just letting it go, but since we were in the area, we reluctantly decided to give it another try. I'm glad we did. This time we decided to try the burgers. We both had the Swiss mushroom burger. A soft, brioche bun, large, juicy burger and so many mushrooms that they were falling off of the bun. Greasy is an understatement but absolutely delicious is not. THIS was a good burger. The accompanying steak fries were kind of a letdown but the sweet potato fries rocked. We ordered the kids cheeseburger for our 4 year old grandson. The burger looked great but we made the mistake of giving him fries before he ate his burger. How embarrassing to make such a rookie mistake! We couldn't finish what we had but we also weren't going to miss the house made cheesecake with lavender syrup. This bit of deliciousness was a perfect addition to our evening binge of season finales. I am so very glad that we tried Southern Wagyu again. Our next visit will probably be for their monthly dinner club. Can't wait!!

The steak & ham are to die for and their macaroni was perfect. The pick up process and ordering was simple with very caring staff assisting packing it up for us into the car. We will be back on a more regular basis in the future as this has quickly become one of our favorite spots. Picture attached of the Easter spread (don't ever skip their bread pudding- yum!!)

They fed our group of I would say ~70-80 people swiftly and professionally. They set up buffet style and offered pulled pork, pulled chicken, and smoked sausage, with macaroni and cheese and green beans as side options. Small white storebought rolls accompanied the bbq. I tried everything except the smoked sausage (not a huge sausage fan). Somewhat unexpectedly, the green beans were my favorite part. They still had a slight snap without being undercooked and they were DEFINITELY seasoned enough -- plenty of flavor there. The macaroni and cheese had a nice creamy texture but wasn't super flavorful. I liked the chicken better than the pork -- the pork was VERY fatty, almost dripping with it. I prefer my pulled pork a touch leaner, but I did like the red bbq sauce provided. The best part was the charming, sweet, and professional service the workers provided. They had kind and humorous words for everyone as they passed through the line, and also graciously helped clean up as people finished their meals. Great job! If the price was right, I would consider using O Taste and See for catering. It's hard work to pull off truly great bbq for large crowds in a buffet style setting. My dinner was enjoyable. They also have a food truck so you could try chasing that down to try it first.

I first glimpsed this new food truck while driving around downtown by Big Spring Park. I saw the…read morename emblazoned on the side of the truck and immediately went home and looked it up, because I LOVE Mac and cheese. I found their social media quickly and bided my time till they were somewhere convenient for me. I tried them out on Wednesday evening. They were parked at a nearby apartment complex and I drove over to grab something. You can order online, too, but I forgot to do so. They seem to have a rotating selection of different mac and cheese combinations, but on Wednesday we opted for the chicken bacon ranch Mac and the brisket Mac. Each meal comes with your choice of dessert that also varies from day to day; we grabbed a chocolate chip cookie and a slice of lemon Bundt cake. The folks running the truck were very friendly and warm. I'd say the food came out in a reasonable amount of time, given the volume of orders ahead of ours. The truck was blasting some tunes that actually sounded pretty good, so it was fun to wait and listen to music. Something interesting to note: a lot of their dishes that you'd assume come with beef or pork products actually don't. For example, their taco Mac: I would've assumed it would come with ground beef, but it is actually ground turkey. They also use turkey bacon in a number of their macs that have bacon. I didn't find the flavor to be too different in my chicken bacon ranch Mac, but if you're particular about this kind of stuff, you may want to pay close attention to their online menu or ask before ordering. The food was all pretty good! The chicken was a pleasant texture (which I find is sometimes difficult to achieve in chicken pasta dishes) and both dishes had a yummy, interesting blend of cheese. These macs have a slightly thinner-than-expected cheese sauce, but it was good. CBR was the winner over the brisket; the brisket was a little soft and didn't stand up to the pasta quite as well. Both dishes reheated nicely in the oven the next day. The desserts were both surprisingly good and I would guess homemade -- super soft cookie and deliciously moist and very lemony Bundt cake. Portion sizes on macs were generous. Desserts were small, about the size of my palm. My main complaint is I think the prices are a touch high. I always get sticker shock with food trucks. The meals come in 2 sizes: Mac size (24 oz) and Snack size (12 oz). Mac prices range from $15-18 depending on topping, while Snack is $6-9. The total for our dinner (one Mac and one Snack) was $27. Could be worse, but felt a little high to me for a non-restaurant meal made up of mostly pasta. Overall, though, this is a super fun truck, neat concept, run by very nice people. Give them a go!
