Amour Nails is one of my favorite nail salons in the Northville area. I've always had a good experience here. The massage chairs are great. Sometimes you are offered a drink, but if not, just ask. There is water, champagne, and more. The workers are friendly. The salon is clean. Around the holidays customers were gifted a tube of silky butter lotion. Compared to other salons Amour Nails goes out of its way to make their customers feel special. read more

If you're going to close early, at least have the decency to say so on your ad. What really upset me is that I called multiple times while driving over, and no one answered. When I pulled in, someone was clearly still getting their toes done , so don't tell me you're closed. That's not just poor communication, it's completely unprofessional. Would never come back here again. Had the most awful experience. I have been getting my nails done consistently for the past 3 years with a dip manicure and know what good service is, this place is not it. I first had my nails done with a Sean ( blue nails in pictures) and he was not actively listening when I told him at the end I did not like my nails. Instead he told me "just 5 minutes to fix" which turned into another 30 minutes only to get the same result. I was obviously getting frustrated because I could see there was no change and he didn't know what he was doing. I tried to tell him to just thin them down and put a top coat of shellac and call it a day. Instead he actually forcefully grabbed my hand and said again "just 5 min" When I pulled my hand away to look at them, he tried to snatch my hand. I had to tell him to not grab my hand like that a second time. Made me super upset. Very unprofessional! I had wasted almost 2 hours there for this manicure. I had asked for a manager because I was not going to pay full price for this. Staff just tried to call the owner and then when they couldn't reach them , had me write my name and number down and told me to go. Owner called me and was super nice and wanted to help with a solution. Offered to fix my nails when she got back or to schedule me with someone else same day. I came back in with Kevin. He was quick and knew more of what he was doing. Told him to leave my nail shape cause it was fine but again no active listening and cut my nail down even further. Everything was going better until he cut my finger and placed some kind of powder on with a wooden stick to stop the bleeding. No new packages. Very unsanitary and gross. Then proceeded to use all the tools that they definitely use on other people on the same finger that still was bleeding. At the end he still charged me $50 for the service, including adding an extra 10$ for the "white tip". Mind you I just wasted 3 hours same day for what should have been a simple dip manicure. Long story short: *Staff are uneducated and stuck on old techniques *Unsanitary *do not know how to properly handle situations *do no take the time to actively listen to you I never write bad reviews because if I don't like a place it's usually because it's just not up to my standards or preference which is okay. I just won't go back. But for me to write my first bad review, you really did a number on me! read more

Ah I love this place!! I live so close by and can't believe I only started coming to this nail salon THIS YEAR! They do a phenomenal job with nails and never leave me disappointed. Today, I went in for those trending "Hailey Bieber Nails" and they delivered! Bubble Bath Gel Polish with chrome powder on top (: I usually like keeping my nails long, but mine were all broken and different sizes when I came in. They fixed them up (miraculously) and my nails looked brand new! I never know how they're able to fix anything and everything with such perfection. I've come here before to get intricate designs, all sorts of shapes, and all different types of polishes and they never fail to make me happy with the outcome! Prices I think are very reasonable as well which is a huge plus! Everyone who works there is honestly hilarious and makes you feel like you've been a customer forever even if it's just your second time there. Can't recommend them more enough, stop by if you want some flawless nails !! read more

I like this nail salon. They do a great job with my nails abs they're always courteous. They have good business practices regarding cleanliness. They've repeatedly given me great manicures with acrylic nails and tips. They have a very aggressive questionnaire that requires an electronic signature regarding health concerns. Mostly a "hold harmless" contact but it's quite thorough if you're into that. I'll be back! read more

I enjoyed my pedicure. The fill and polish, not so much. The young man was haphazard and paid more attention to the customer next to me. I had to tell him there was still orange nail polish residue. Nothing is done with the cuticle. The polish is bumpy, doesn't reach the edges and all are shaped differently. I hate to give bad reviews, truly. GUYS! I made the RIGHT decision here. I live out of state and wanted a spring style I saw on Pinterest. I had a pre-existing dip in black. This salon truly cares about your nails. They took the time to let the chemicals work and NO scraping of the nails to remove the prior polish. They are super friendly and joke with each other. And their hospitality is fantastic (request the Costco Moscato...sooo good!). Best of all...Paige NAILED the design!!! 10 different colors! She was patient and thorough and did not rush, even though it was approaching closing time. She did the job right! Highly recommend for decor, hospitality, nail design and overall care. read more

Came on a whim, wanted a shellac mani. This is your typical strip mall salon, looks clean and only one other customer besides me. I didn't have to wait so I was able to pick my color and sit down at a station. I was offered some repair work on my thumb nail since it was drastically shorter and crooked (I have a split in that nail that I'm trying to repair with gel polish). I don't know my manicurist name but he did ask me what shape and I said a rounded off square like, to follow my natural nail. He proceeded to put some acrylic to build out the side and I asked him to also do my middle finger since it had broke quite short. No problem he said. The manicure was quick and efficient. I have to laugh because the two nails he repaired look a little odd and very square. I didn't ask him to fix them because I didn't notice until I was done with the polish and didn't want to have to polish again. I can live with it until I get my next one. I'll probably go else where for my next. Reasonably priced, nice people, clean. read more

about it, we reserved two spots at 5:30. My sister got her nails done first although I had to wait 30 minutes till six to actually get my nails done. My nail experience was pretty nice/good but The guy was a bit aggressive to my nails and he actually cut me in the cuticle. I like the shape of my nails because I ask for almond and they're nice, the nail design is a little bit messy and rushed but for my first time getting acrylics they're very pretty. I made this review for stars because I feel everyone deserves a second chance and if I were to read it in the middle I would read it 3.5 stars. Because of the messiness and rushed work also the time it took for him to do my nails. The desks was using scraps like bottles to hold their nail polish which is a little bit cheap but normal for a nail salon. The people were I think Vietnamese and they were speaking between doing nails but no complaints about that. Also when the man messed up my nail he said sorry so I guess that's fine. Also my cuticles on two of my nails are a little bit messed up in there are not cut so they hurt. Beware of these people! They will charge you for every single detail of your service. If you get a manicure, they will charge your to clip your nails, charge your for filing/shaping your nails...if you use more than one color on your nails, you will be charged $5 for each color you use....these people are AWFUL and it's an awful way to do business! What's the point of charging a base $35 for a manicure if you're going to charge me additional money to get the services that should be included in a manicure? $35 turned quickly into $60....NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE!!! read more

This place is absolutely wonderful!!! I called ten minutes before (so basically a walk in). The lady that helped me was very very nice and she gave me suggestions on what I should get done with an explanation of why. I got my dip off and wanted shellac so she suggested I get two coats of clear dip under and shellac ontop to my nails don't chip.
