What these people did to my dog was unbelievable. My dog is small was matted everywhere. We had a bad experience 6 months ago. Since my dog will not let anyone cut his nails again, they shaved him bald. Grew it out it was bad. Came to applause paws. The kindness, the slow pace and the love those two showed toward my dog. They got his nails cut, haircut that was brilliant. He is so happy and so iam I. Thank u so much!!!

We were searching for a decent groomer for our senior poodle/shiatsu mix. After reviewing different groomers on yelp we decided on Applause Four Paws and we are glad that we did. Ayu did an awesome job grooming her. Everything that we requested to have done was done exceptionally well! When we picked her up she was happy and looked and acted like a young pup. Normally with the previous groomer she would be barking and upset when we picked her up. Ayu and Aaron care for the dogs they groom. We were very happy and booked the next 3 appointments.

We took Maisel to this groomer for the first time. They are now our groomers! Such a great summer cut. Very professional and loving to Maisel. Definitely recommend

Owned and run by a sweet couple, I could tell they both really care about their business and the animals. They gave Twinkke a fantastic cut and bath. I am most definitely making this the switch to be our groomer from now on. :)

Wonderful experience drop off to pick up. Owners are the nicest people and give 100% attention to details. My dog was happy when I left her and happy when I picked her up. That says it all. I could tell how much time was spent grooming her. She has hardly shed since yesterday. Amazing. Thank you for taking such care of my dog

I have an older dog, and was told by our long-time groomer, that they did not want to groom him anymore. A close friend recommended Applause Four Paws. I stopped by and made an appointment, and was impressed with the place, and the kindness of the people. It's a mom & pop place, and I really like that... They did a great job on my boy! Just took our puppy Birdie to have her nails trimmed and gland expressed. It was our first time at Applause Four Paws and we feel so lucky to have found Ayu! She was so patient and calmed Birdie down in even a way I couldn't have when trying to trim her nails myself. She has a gift and we will be back to see her next month. read more

They specialize in dogs. We brought our cat to get brushed, etc. the groomer kinda rushed the job, but fit us in at the end of the day. As a result, the groomer did an 'OK' job, but were very nice and willing to help make it right. Overall, a really great customer service, but cat grooming maybe not their strong suit. read more

Great love and care obvious in caring for our dogs one of which is extremely anxious about loud (clipper) noise nevertheless he was accommodated with great patience and care in achieving a very thorough, kind and loving affective clip for both dogs at a reasonable price given the time and care involved. Wonderful experience drop off to pick up. Owners are the nicest people and give 100% attention to details. My dog was happy when I left her and happy when I picked her up. That says it all. Ayu and Aaron are the best groomers in town. They have been grooming our maltipoo for several years and continue do an awesome job. My maltipoo has never enjoyed the groomer and often screams while getting groomed. Ayu and Aaron are patient, never hurt our pup, and our pup looks great every time. Highly recommend. read more

Wow! We had an awesome experience at this groomer yesterday! Gidget is six months old and has only been groomed once so she was a ragamuffin. They spent a lot of time making sure they knew what we wanted done and texted photos and updates throughout the time they had her. Very reasonably priced for a fabulous new look. We took our Charlotte in for nail trimming. Ayu and Aaron are the absolute best groomers. Very caring and kind. My Charlotte is a squirmer and does not really like to be held. Aaron held her in his arms while Ayu sang to Charlotte. No fuss no muss. And Charlotte kept giving doggie kisses to Ayu. Sorry Aaron maybe it will be your turn next time. Charlotte was happy. There's a grooming shop in Montalvo that charges around $15 per animal and takes the extra step to grind the nails after trimming, which I really appreciate. I'll probably stick with them moving forward. That said, the staff were nice! I just wish the service matched the price a bit better.

Their dog seems happy when he's picked up. The employees seemed nice when I went with, to go pick up their dog. They have dog food/treats & more for purchase... Just don't be late to pick up your dog. Otherwise they close the gates to get in & you'll have to pay extra.

I LOVE this place. My dog cookie was a homeless dog before we got him and has trust issues with people, It is hard trying to get him to leave the house. The people here are very nice and this is the only place cookie will go to get groomed (without trying to attack). we have been coming here for a few years now and they do great work! read more
