This place is filthy. The staff touches their face and then prepares your food. They will wear gloves touch money at the register and prepare your meal without changing their gloves. They take your food to the back and bring it back out. All very questionable actions. Their food was very good at one time, however, it was subpar today. First of all why did they put a dollop of wasabi in my sons teriyaki sauce? He's a toddler. This is not funny! The staff should be reprimanded for this. Also, I have had many poke bowls from everywhere in the USA.... NEVER have I seen lettuce and tomato in a tuna poke bowl! Disgusting pairings! Please restaff this place and teach them respect, how to roll sushi properly and how to package the food so the bags aren't saturated in liquid! What a waste of 90.00!! I do not recommend and will not be returning to this establishment EVER. I know I am not alone. A girl came in from the drive thru because she was missing something in her order. The couple before us were irritated with their wait time. They had two items and waited at least 30 minutes. We were told 15-20 and we waited 38 minutes. In 38 minutes they only helped two cars. And there was no one else in their lobby after we placed our order!! There was one very nice girl. Please keep her and pay her extra to train new employees if you want any hope in keeping your business afloat! Been here twice for the teriyaki and rice. It was highly over priced and under yummy. They were not very good. Not much flavor and the chicken was mostly gristle. Both times I wish I had more sauce because it was flavorless except for the sweet sauce. The sauce did taste like the bottled stuff, but it was better than nothing! read more

Can't resist the Veggie Chicken Bowl. Veggies are always fresh & crisp. The chicken is tender and juicy, and the rice perfectly cooked. The dinning area is always clean. Geta Xpress doesn't have stellar food, but it also markets itself as "Japanese Fast Food". The sushi is average, but definitely works when the sushi craving hits and you don't want to sit down for a longer meal at Toshiko or drive to Fresno for one of their establishments. The sukiyaki bowl is decent, not the best, but it does the trick. If you're looking for fast food, it's definitely a welcome change of pace amongst the standards. I love the Bento Box and their sushi. I think the food here is affordable and the portions are large enough to keep you satisfied or overfill you. Their bowls are good too and so is their soup. The people who work here are friendly and will help you pick something or describe a dish to you if you don't know what the it is. The tables can be dirty sometimes mainly on the weekend but its not eww and the tables don't smell like dirty wet rags like Denny's. read more

Great selection of authentic Japanese dishes similar to when I used to live in Japan. The servings were adequate compared to most places I've been. The prices were reasonable since there's not really another Japanese restaurant nearby in comparison (well the one next to Firestone isn't that good and expensive). I often eat their spicy chicken bowl for lunch. Watch out for the often present firecracker chilis that make the heat. The platters for groups are great, too. I eat there often. I love the convenience of a drive-thru Japanese restaurant. I love the fact that it is only about a block away from work too! The food is fresh. I usually get the Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box and it is a big portion. Nasty, I cannot believe this passes for food at all. all I ordered was an eggroll but it was so drenched you couldnt bite into it without being covered in grease. my wife got a beef bowl the beef was rancid and tasted like it had been in the sun for a couple days before they cooked it. when I brought this to the attention of the rude girl at the counter she just threw my food in the trash and didnt offer an apology or a refund. when I asked for a refund I was informed that the Manager was not there and so they could not give me a refund. this is the nastiest food I have ever been served and ive eaten MRE's. This last experience really left a bad taste in my mouth, literally. I got a terriyaki bento box and took a bite of my California roll and it was rancid the cucumber tasted so horrible i couldnt swallow my bite also the chicken had NO terriyaki sauce on it. I called to tell the about the rolls (more concerned about getting people sick) and was directed to the manager who did not want to take my call stating he already knew (to the employee) and there was no need to talk to me. After much arguing the manager finally answered the phone only to tell me to come in and get new ones (i wasnt going to drive across town for four rolls, just wanted them to dump bad rolls) i told him no need just want to make sure no one gets sick he then asked if anything else was wrong (as if he expected it to be) i told him yes iur terriyaki chicken had no sauce on it he laughed and said that was hard to believe so ill go ahead and post a picture of it and u guys be the judge. Geta Xpress: sometimes yay, sometimes nay. The prices are quite affordable for those on a budget (as long as you stay away from the specialty drinks, such as ramune). Location wise, it's situated near a set of train tracks, which can be bothersome for those wanting a quiet night out, but it is also nearby a Baskin-Robbin's, which makes dessert accessible. The food itself is where the shakiness begins. It normally takes about 10 minutes or longer for food to be made for a group (or even if you're the sole customer in the restaurant), meaning it can be risky for workers eating out here while on a time constraint. Quality wise, the rice is cooked well and the sushi is on-par (I recommend the bento box special, it gives a California roll, chicken, salad, and rice for a range of eating), but the meat can often be burnt, which is frequent in dishes such as the chicken teriyaki bowl. The tempura is also tasty, but you'll have to wait several minutes for it to cool down to survivable temperatures. Parking should be no hassle whatsoever, but it can be difficult to tell if it's open or not due to dark-tinted windows and doors. Geta Xpress can be hit and miss for some, but can also be a source of fine Asian cuisine for others; trying it for yourself will settle this debacle. read more

Terrible customer service and okay food. The food was pretty good but I don't want to be rubbed the wrong way when trying to get my dinner after a long day at work. I was recommended to this place expecting it to be fairly good and to have great prices. But one of the service members were very rude and looked at me in disgust as if I had done something wrong. Just walking into the restaurant the employee was continuously ringing the bell at the counter and not paying attention to us standing there waiting for him to take our order. Upon receiving my food, I went to check my container and they had gotten my order entirely wrong. I will not eat here again because of their unprofessional behavior and rudeness.
