By far the best experience ever, sergei I came in with an iPhone with a water damage and the owner Sergei explained the chances of being able to restore the phone back to its original condition. I dropped off the phone and came back the next day to check out the phone and Sergei showed me that the phone had very bad corrosion due to the water but would try his best to clean it up. Long story short he did his best at getting the phone back in which he did and was very patient with me and the phone its self he was able to get me full functioning phone after replacing the screen, camera, and battery. My wife's iPhone 7 took a dip in the American River, and he got it running again. Bada bing. Much cheaper than having to replace it. A couple weeks later, the iPhone developed a case of "Ghost Touch" where the screen seems to react to nonexistent touches. I gave it a good cleaning, but no luck. It'd been a couple weeks since the servicing at Getitfixed, and given that it HAD been wholly submerged in water, he really had no obligation to fix this new issue. But he was pleasant and offered to take a look at it. He had it serviced the same day, and it seems to have fixed the Ghost Touch problem. They really friendly guy (with an adorable kitten) was honest with me and said that he didn't think it was my battery. I appreciated that because he was honest and didn't want me purchasing something that I might not need. My husband was going to run a diagnostic on it, because he is a tech guy and never did. Several months later I told a friend of mine who works at Apple that my phone was not working well. He did a diagnostic for me and told me that I infact needed a new battery. I went to another shop, closer to my house. The owner wanted to price gauge me and was incredibly rude. So, I went back to gadget ninja and 45 minutes later I have a new battery with a 90 day warranty, for a great price, and had great customer service. Awful. Just awful customer service. Mind you these guys might do quality work but I was never able to find that out because I didn't even want to give this place my business after my phone interaction with them. I need two iPads repaired. I called and first a guy answers "hello?" As if they are answering a personal phone. Look, if you're using your personal phone to list on a business listing such as yelp, answer it as such. I was taken back but I politely asked if this was gadget ninja. He just replied "yeah." Right away there was a red flag of unprofessinalism. I then proceeded to ask a few questions about pricing, to which he sounded VERY annoyed. Finally I was asking if they are able to diagnose the problem with my iPad before me paying for the screen. He said "yeah we have test screens we make sure everything works before sealing it up" but that's not what I asked. Many repair places want the cash up front. Furthermore, many repair places might perform necessary repairs much higher than the originally quoted price. So there was absolutely nothing wrong with me asking if they can make sure the screen is bad before I pay for a new screen. Because the last thing I want is to pay up front for a screen, have them replace it, then the iPad still doesn't recognize touch properly, and they tell me it's the LCD not the digitizer or it's something wrong with the motherboard, and they refuse to redund me because they already replaced my screen. My concerns were genuine concerns that everyone seeking repairs would ask, whether it's a 300 dollar iPad or a 30,000 dollar car. The guy was being snappy with me and gave me attitude for asking him simple questions. I just laughed and hung up Hey dude, if you're reading this which I hope you are, learn a thing or two about professionalism and courtesy. You aren't bill gates or Mark zuckerberg. You are not on the forefront of technology making millions while you float around on a yacht. You glue new screens on to iPads and phones for people who dropped them. Be humble and at least act like you know your place. Being rude gets you nowhere in the customer service business. If you don't like it, go build something or do something where you don't have to work with people. Now excuse me, Im off to take the money that would be in your pocket somewhere else. I took my daughters iPad here to have her screen replaced. They said it would be finished the next day. It took 4 days. I started calling on the 3rd day but didn't get anyone. The 4th day I called and the guy said I could pick it up. I've noticed about a week later, the screen lags. When my daughter is trying to do school work the touch screen isn't responding. The screen also moves down when the screen is pressed on. Totally it satisfied. I also didn't receive a receipt to go back in and get the problem fixed. read more

BROKE MY PHONE. REFUSED REFUND. GHOSTED ME. Gave them a $100 parts deposit. All other shops in town will overnight your part into the shop, these people didn't order it until I called back 3 days later. The shop was deceitful when I attempted to verify they ordered all the right parts. When I went to pick up the phone, they handed by a phone with a repaired screen, but cracked by phone case. The repair man wanted me to work it out with him and come back in a few business days. I paid in full, walked to me car, thought about it, and walked back into the shop, demanding a refund. I stated I will pay when my phone was fully fixed. No refund issued. I plugged in the phone two hours later, a electrical short image appeared. THEY SHORTED OUT MY PHONE. I called a bunch and left messages. I have returned to the shop, these guy are never open or take 2 hour breaks daily. The $375 dollar refund I requested doesn't began to pay for a month old, $1500 S20 plus phone, or deal with a month long ordeal of no real communication during COVD. I have a handwritten note, by the technician (on the back of the sales receipt) admitting that he bent my phone and he would reach out to me. I never got that voicemail. This place embodies 2020. I took my iPhone X in for a screen replacement. Took him about 15 minutes. He handed it back to me saying it was all fixed. HE SAID NOTHING ELSE. I got it back and noticed it was filthy from the repair so I sprayed it with a phone cleaner and rag. No worries because it's an iPhone X and as we all know, it's waterproof. Well apparently it's not anymore after the repair and THEY DIDN'T bother to tell me. Within an hour, Face ID, FaceTime, and Siri all stop working! When I went back he said it was all my fault and I should just magically KNOW that he broke the waterproofness of the phone. I asked if this has happened before and he said "five or six times!" I told him that in that case, he should TELL PEOPLE THAT THE PHONE ISN'T WATERPROOF ANYMORE!! He said that would be bad for business and threw me out. Said I should just somehow know that it's not waterproof without him telling me. Everyone I talked to said that there's no way they would have known either. So now I'm stuck with a $1,150 phone that doesn't work. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!! In reply to Sergei's comment: of course I didn't dunk it in water. I sprayed it off. And the reason I didn't "remember" dunking it is because that NEVER HAPPENED ! I've cleaned it hundreds of times before and there's never been an issue! I used a spray bottle of phone cleaner. Apparently the seal was so bad when you gave it back to me that it just wicked the water right in. You kept telling me I had dunked it and that didn't happen! IF YOU BROKE THE WATERPROOFING, YOU SHOULD TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS!! You just kept saying I should know and that it's common knowledge. I've spoken to dozens of people and not ONE of them thought that getting it "fixed" would break the waterproofing. Not one. But the biggest complaint is that when I asked you if this had happened before, you said "five or six times". That means you KNOW this isn't an isolated incident and you still DON'T TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS IMPORTANT INFORMATION THEY NEED TO KNOW. And you were NOT willing to work with me! You throw me out of your business and told me never to come back! So don't go trying to sound all reasonable, when you were NOT willing to work with me. That is a lie! Your argument that you didn't hide any information is false too. You said I should've asked. How is anyone supposed to just KNOW to ask. I don't HAVE that information.
