We lay on our mats on the floor and I'm worried about bugs getting in my hair. Left the gym feeling itchy. Floors could be cleaned more regularly in the classroom too. Lots of hair and debris. It's distracting and gross to be laying on the floor reaching arms and legs out past your yoga mat sometimes and then someone's hair sticks to you. Or there's a white dusty substance on your black pants. As far as staff goes, there's been a lot of turn over the past few months. I have no idea who the new manager is now as they don't make their presence known and newer staff is not as friendly. I hear there might be an upper management problem at the corporate level. Which is why so many staff here recently left all at once. Oftentimes these corporations don't treat their employees as human and only care about the bottom dollar. It's very disappointing as a member and shows poor business ethics. Some of my favorite classes have been cancelled recently due to lack of instructors, since 4 suddenly left all at once. And the few instructors that are left have to make up the slack and seem over worked. The few remaining instructors are fabulous and the regulars love them. Shout out to Glo and Eileen! So please don't push them out too. I don't use the rest of the gym equipment much but from what it seems that part of the gym is good. Sometimes crowded and there can be wait times for popular equipment at rush hour. I'm only mentioning these things as feedback to whom it may concern in hopes they will actually do something about these issues. So that my and my fellow gym members experience gets back to the quality we were used to a few months ago. A lot of members are looking elsewhere, where there is better customer service, classes and cleanliness. There are so many options of gyms to choose from so why would we stay with 2.8 star place. Which is actually a very fair rating in my opinion.

It's a decent-sized facility with a good amount of equipment, but the cleanliness is a major issue. Unfortunately, the gym is often very dirty. It's not uncommon to see bodily fluids or residue left on equipment, and many members don't seem to follow basic gym etiquette like wiping things down after use. At a certain point, it feels like the environment has gotten so unclean that people stop caring about maintaining it. One of the biggest differences compared to the gym across the street is the upkeep. Staff there are constantly cleaning--wiping down machines, vacuuming, and maintaining the restrooms. Members have gym etiquette. Here, it often feels like grime just builds up over time. The restrooms in particular can smell like mold, and there's frequently hair and debris around. Overall, while the size and equipment are decent, the lack of cleanliness and maintenance makes it hard to recommend.

I literally don't know the last time somebody went around and vacuumed and dusted let alone wipe down these machines. The equipment is minimal, and there is no sauna or steam room which absolutely surprises me.

The perfect amount of laughter, leadership, encouragement, and push to be your best. I've done wrestling, boxing, and kickboxing here. I liked the intro to boxing here but to be honest this is definitely a fighter oriented gym. They cater to the fighters before just regular gym goers and that's fine, it just meant I'm not their target clientele. Coach JR and Coach Ermias are really talented and good at what they do, if you do happen to go I'd say train with them or attend their classes. They know their stuff and are serious about their craft but willing to teach you. I only tried the wrestling once or twice but the coach for that is good as well for complete newbies. It's intimidating but not impossible you just have to try it. Definitely don't come here just to socialize like some people use the gym for. People are here to train and often shoot demo reels here. The owner trains across the world so like I said they're very focused on their fighters here. If that's what you're looking for and you have a background in fighting or want to seek it for your career I'd recommend this place, but for the average person who wants to take a boxing class it might be a little intimidating.

The showers are the same, but might've had a deep clean, we've not been here in months, but some noticeable improvements seem to be there in the women's bathroom. But the shower area floors (and the hallways leading to the showers) were soaking wet and truly a safety issue, a major slip and fall hazard which is quite concerning. No staff was seen in the women's locker room at all in the 1.5-2 hours I was there changing, then going to work out and then coming back to shower, etc. Staff at front desk was welcoming, but didn't see any staff cleaning at all, and janitorial staff (assuming there are some at this huge location) can't keep up and/or have not done a thorough job. It's always crowded here regardless of time of day and so the cleanliness is a huge issue. Dropping off the younger one to the kids' club, there was nothing really for him to do since there's no basketball hoop (kids sized or one of those portable ones filled w/sand/water in the bottom) and there's only that indoor play structure/netted cubes thing that he's outgrown, so he ended up reading while we worked out which kind of defeated the purposes for him to go exercise. In the back, there's the swimming pool which certainly is big and there several of them, people do their lap swimming here, and there's a more recreation pool too, so that's another nice feature in the warmer months and those are frequently packed. B/C of this the floor is even more wet in spring through fall months when the pools are open, so maybe more mopping up every couple of hours or for a staff to check or even just leave a mop for members to mop up the wet floor is a good idea so people don't slip and fall in the locker rooms. Overall, some slight improvements since our last visit, but can still use more consistent cleaning and upkeep.
