We really like the hotel - Alot! Great location. Great restaurant next door, Geyserville Grill. But . . . . they have this policy that if you cancel your reservation, NO MATTER WHEN, they charge you $15!! What hotel does that? This is the year 2019 folks! Why????? When you book, they charge your card immediately for the full room price. Which is dumb too, because people's lives change all the time so thats very fooolish. So they claim the $15 is to do paperwork for the cancellation!!!! Seriously???? The whole thing is just not good business. And for the room cost????? And as many times as we have stayed? Disappointing!! Thank very carefully before you book here! It's too bad, because it's a great spot, They shouldn't have to resort to these tactics. read more

We have stayed here several times on our visits to Dry Creek. It never disappoints. Today we made it a destination so we could enjoy the pool. Easy to find from the highway, yet tucked away in its own private setting! We were travelling through San Fran on a road trip but didn't want to burn a big chunk of the budget to stay in a $700 hotel downtown. We found this little gem only an hour away which turned to be a much more relaxing setting anyway! THE ROOM: We had a ground floor room that looked out onto nice gardens and trees, making the balcony a great place to hang out. It had a fireplace, king bed, desk, coffee machine, etc. While not being the most dazzling room on our trip, it still didn't lack anything at all. The restaurant at the hotel had such a pretty outdoor setting and really great food and wine selections. For the money we saved not to stay in San Fran, this was such a great compromise. read more

Not a bad experience here. It felt cozy here and was near wineries. The Travelzoo deal was really good. The only thing that my boyfriend complained about was the bed. It wasn't soft and sinks-in in other areas when he lays on it. Overall, clean rooms and nice balcony to have a drink or two outside that overlooks the vineyards. Nice staff when we checked in and out of the inn. We liked the Geyserville Grille that is on the property too. read more

Stayed here last week. Right off the 101, easy parking (watch out for poles in the parking lot, may be in your blind spot) Staff was friendly, hotel is all carpeted. No Breakfast or fitness room that I saw. Does have a hottub and heated pool, but the heated pool is not warm enough to swim in during the winter early spring. Room was clean and comfortable. Tv a little small. Nice little balcony and was a peaceful night with no loud neighbors. Overall good, good location to freeway but you can get more quaint hotels if that's what you're looking for. Got the Travelzoo deal for the king size room - pricing was around $119 per night which came with credit for breakfast at Hoffman House and coupons for wine tasting. We had a balconey with vineyard facing view. This was a great deal!!! Found this to be a local gem -- offering European like accomodations surrounded by vineyards, hills and breathtaking Sonoma landscape. Centrally located for convenient world class wine tasting. I would definately recommend this Inn if you want laid back accomodations with a great location and value. read more

We came here for a last minute get away for my husband's birthday. Honestly, it was lovely. We had a bottom floor suite and it was clean and spacious. It was not particularly lux, but it was quiet and comfortable and, again - it was clean. Lovely grounds that you can roam with a glass of wine. The restaurant was fantastic! We actually ate there twice and loved both meals! It's a good location in wine country and a lovely facility. We'll be back. read more

The best part of this place is location. As far as the rooms, very disappointing. On their website they have pics of nice rooms but the actual room you get is more like a motel. The staff seem somewhat friendly but I will not be coming back. I rather pay a bit more and stay at a nice B & B next time I'm in the area. Perhaps there are nice rooms on the property but they should inform ahead of time or on their site that not all rooms are well decorated or have a view. Sad thing is that this place has potential if they only spent more money on fixing it up and staff made you feel welcome. read more

Ready, set, go! Wedding season has started and there are so many RSVPs, +1s, and vegetarian options. My head is spinning! It's the most wonderful time of the year! Anyway, my older brother from another mother finally landed himself an amazing woman and best friend! Congrats to them both! Anyway, I stayed here for their wedding and the place is small and cozy. It's not amazing, but it reminds me of a cozy cottage in the woods. It's adorable and low price. Right next to the inn is a family owned restaurant, which I wish I had enough time to try. The room I had was fairly big and had an amazing view of the mountains and the vineyard. The queen bed is so soft and fluffy. I wish I had more time to just lie around and do nothing. Sigh! You know the bed is good because if I was able to fall fast asleep upon arrival, it's soft and fluffy enough to complete a whole nap cycle! The staff at the front desk is friendly and provide good customer service. I gave it 3 stars because the room I was originally assigned to would not lock shut and the keys to open the doors became an issue. I had the wrong key all the time! What's the deal?! Oh well. Nonetheless, the place is nice and seems to have a lot of deals. The rooms are clean and there is complimentary water and coffee at the front lobby. The place gets cold, but the comforters and warmth of the fireplace was helpful! Bring socks! read more

I happen to be having dinner in Geyserville last night and a few too many glasses of wine prompted me to search for a local place to stay. This was the closest and I have to say I was quite amazed. Whoever they hired as their interior decorator did a fabulous job on the rooms. They are so tastefully remodeled and make sure you get a room with the fireplace. The front desk gentleman is so sweet and accommodating and very friendly. There's a restaurant next-door, which I didn't eat at, but I went in for a final cocktail and the young bartender was a master at the classics. The only critique I would say is that the walls are very thin so you will hear your neighbor cough. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this Inn and I would stay here again without question. read more

I'm writing this review so that people who book this place on a third party app like Expedia beware - we showed up with a reservation made over a month in advance (not last minute) and they had no record of it because they said sometimes their system has trouble getting the bookings from Expedia. If that is something you are aware of, you should absolutely be checking Expedia for the bookings? We had our confirmation and when they checked Expedia they were able to see the booking but since they don't do that in advance, they hadn't saves us a room and were fully booked. Their solution was to book us at a travelodge down the way in Healdsburg and it was really not at all comparable (dark dinky room, no pool or anything at the hotel). This was meant to be a nice anniversary getaway weekend in a scenic location, and honestly the staff at Geyserville could care less, it was more of an irritation to them that we were there and had booked via Expedia. Not a nice vibe and a total bummer. read more

We booked a stay for our anniversary. When we arrived the fragrance in the Inn was so very strong. We got to our room and immediately opened the window and door. The fragrance and cleaning products were obviously toxic. It was having an adverse effect on my lungs and my husband started to have an Asthma attack. We had to leave the Inn within an hour of arriving. I was told management would call me. It has been over a week and no one has called or responded to my calls and email. Fragrance does not equal cleanliness. Health is more important then a beautiful view. Customer service is obviously not a priority here. read more

I stayed at the Geyserville Inn with my husband and my mom, and we had a wonderful time! It was our first visit to the Geyserville and Healdsburg area, and we really didn't know where to go. But Nathan at the front desk was very helpful with food and winery suggestions and then making reservations for my family for the weekend while also giving us a complimentary wine tasting at one winery! It really helped with our trip by reducing the stress of planning and everything was fantastic. The Inn and room were both so charming. It was cozy and comfy, better than most of the places we've stayed in Napa (that were all so much more expensive!). We are already looking forward to our next stay. read more

Geyserville Inn is in the perfect relaxing location. Set in warm wine country in a sweet, polite town with a river just off HWY 101 you won't be disappointed. The staff is incredible! They accommodate you in every way, such as bringing you towels to the pool as well as coffee when the coffee maker doesn't serve. Great weekday deals and a wonderful place for a family or couple. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! I would give this Hotel 10 Stars if I could. First off, the customer service is top shelf. We dealt with Clinton and that guy made our trip superb. He went above and beyond our expectations of service. He made sure our rooms would fit our needs and also followed up to make sure my Mom, Sister, and I had a great weekend. The pool was peaceful and relaxing. The pool area was spotlessly clean and organized. We had a gorgeous balcony that overlooked the vineyards. Then on Mother's Day we had a delicious brunch. Took advantage of a Travelzoo special coupon. The deal was for a great rate on the hotel. Along with a very nice room, we got a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon from a local winery, two coupons for tasting at local wineries which included 10% discounts and a 2 for 1 coupon for each day's stay at the Geyserville Grille. This was one of the best combinations of benefits at a hotel we have ever experienced. The room was large with plenty of amenities like microwave and fridge. Bathroom was huge and had good towels. Lots of hot water. Beds were medium soft. Good lighting in the room. Lots of windows as well for ventilation. Room included a small patio balcony overlooking the hillsides of Alexander valley. Lots of covered parking for the cars. Location was near the freeway but very quiet. read more

For $200/night (summer, high season) I was hoping for more character but the entire property is very basic. The staff was quite pleasant and personable, and the location is great if you want to venture into "downtown" G-ville. But if you're looking for a romantic wine country getaway, I would opt for a B&B as the rooms here are stark and uninspiring. Plus, they have these old-fashioned window-unit air conditioners that sound like a lawnmower when you turn them on. I didn't sleep the first night, and drank plenty of wine to survive night #2. Considering you'll be out enjoying the scenery all day, this isn't the worst place to crash. But, it's pretty crazy to see what $200 buys you these days... read more

This review is just based on the 2 days we spend there recently. We have been there a few times and I loved it, beautiful, quiet, amazing pool, restaurant right across, everything about the hotel was great, but these 2 days were a nightmare, they are remodeling inside, removing carpet, doors, whatever is inside, they start at 9 in the morning, banging on the floor, drilling, all day long, I came to relax and have some quiet time and instead I left with headache and tired more than I came.. I do not understand why they don't let people know when you book the hotel that there is a construction going on.. it was a disaster, they were leaving dirty carpet and broken doors right next to my door when I was leaving my room ,all kinds of construction stuff just laying around.. i wasn't able to take a nap , neither was I able to put my 7 mo old to sleep because of that... anyways was not a good experience this time..... 08/01/2020 Updating my review to 1 star , I don't know why I decided to go to Geyserville Inn again, meybe because I thought I would support them and booked a night, I'm glad I did not, my plans changed and I had to cancel that same day, but my card was already charge fully, anyways I was within range for a no fee cancellation, I called Hotels.com where I originally made my reservation, and they said hotel charged me and a refund takes 3-5 bus days... 5 days passed , no refund, I called the hotel, the guy (manager) said he doesn't have my name or my canceled reservation, I asked him how long does it take for a refund, his answer 90 days... What???? 90 days, r u kidding me, he started yelling that this is how long it takes and I got to deal with it, I couldn't even say a word he put me on hold, after coming back he said that is how long it takes but he don't see my name at all, after that he said he has another caller and just hang up... great, thank you very much for your help, here I am sitting on the other line and trying to figure out what just happened..... I never actually stayed here. On our recent wine country weekend we were invited on, the organizer, Bob, suggested we all stay at the Geyserville Inn. I was suspect because the pictures looked like a slightly fancied up Holiday Inn but if Bob vouches for them, I am willing to give them a try. I booked the room on-line which required a deposit for one of the two nights in the amount of $198.69. No problem. A week later, another guest on the trip secured some timeshare condos in nearby Windsor for half the price and twice the space. Bob and I canceled our two separate reservations at Geyserville Inn, again on-line, on October 10th and snatched up the two bedroom condos instead. I checked my credit card bill a few weeks later, expecting to see my deposit promptly returned. It was not. I gave it a little more time and then decided to call them at the end of October. I talked to a very confused sounding man who talked me around in circles asking for my cancellation number and then repeating that he had the same number for me but without the leading digit. Whatever! The point is, I say I canceled, he confirms I canceled, so where is my damn deposit? He said he would show it to his auditor and get the credit for me. Cut to November 7th. Still no sign of the deposit. This time I decide to fax them all of the paperwork with a slightly annoyed letter instead of calling. This prompts them to call me and leave a message saying that the person who deals with this is out and it should be looked at in a few days. How hard is it to give me my deposit back? There is something obviously wrong with their system. I am not sure how Bob handled his deposit but as of our wine trip on October 28th he had not gotten his back either. As for the members of our group that did stay there this year and previous years, the newly updated rooms they claim to have on their website are a farce. They couldn't see any updates. GET IT TOGETHER PEOPLE! Update: November 17th and still no deposit. I e-mailed them and next I will be calling and chewing them out. Bob hasn't gotten his back either. WTF?!?! read more

I will definitely stay here again. The service was very friendly, the room was spacious and very, very clean and included a fireplace. Sure, the fireplace was controlled by a power switch, but it sure added some ambiance! If you are a star-gazer, you'll love that Geyserville Inn is kind of in the boonies so you can stand in the back of the property and crane your head upwards for spectacular celestial views. Walls are kind of thin, so you should sleep with the fan on to drown out night sounds. read more

This place suited our needs. It was a really cute little hotel, with a surprisingly spacious room. I think we got the handicap-accessible one, because the bathroom was insanely large. Everything was fine in the room, but you're really paying for location. It was still pretty winter-y (March), and I imagine in the spring the grounds look gorgeous. The staff treated us a little... weird. Maybe it was just the one guy, but I can't think of a word to describe it besides judgmental. We weren't young kids getting wasted or anything... an adult couple in our late-twenties enjoying a wine country tour. Seems like in this place, that would be the norm? TERRIBLE! This room smelled of paint and the bedding was uncomfortable. We were with a Wedding party and although we verfied we'd get the $109 price, we were still charged $179 through their "express checkout" process. We tried to talk with Shelby, the front desk girl but she was unhelpful and un-accomodating and she said that we'd have to discuss it with the manager 3 days later. I spoke with Justin and he said it would take "at least a week" to retrieve the documents from their off-site storage facility. 3 weeks later, I was told that I actually will get the $109 price and was refunded. The service was sub-par except for the lovely Pam who checked us in. But due to the fact that I had a terrible headache from the intense smell of paint and was overcharged, I have to give this place 1 star....and even that is too much. :( read more

Our stay at the inn was through a $99 voucher from Travelzoo. Our room was clean and comfortable with a small refrigerator. We had the queen deluxe room which overlooked the pool. There was a door that lead to an outdoor balcony and the windows could be opened to let in fresh air. Those were nice touches. The coffee by the front desk is excellent. The walls are pretty thin and you can easily hear the adjacent neighbors. Overlooking the pool is fine during the cold season, but I can imagine it would be pretty noisy during the summer. The queen size bed was probably on its last legs. Apparently the busy season is during the fall when the grapes are pressed and the tourists start rolling in. Rest assure that the room prices will skyrocket. Would we stay here again? It is hard to say, as it is not that memorable. read more
