We walked in randomly to look for tiles and Mike was super down to earth and helpful in guiding us through what they have, he's the no BS type of person and not pushy like other people we have worked with. We took a liking with them with our interaction with Mike. We scheduled an estimate with Edson, he was on time and polite and also we enjoyed Edson's honesty in his answers when I probed questions about ditra-heat flooring options. They seem knowledgeable enough to entertain our questions, which again we appreciated. That shows that they are willing to plan with us as opposed to others we have worked with that only does what they know how to do. They provided the itemized estimate/invoice, which is what we look for in contracted jobs. Check. And they were coherent in their emails, which is also a plus. It's nice to be able to physically walk into a location and talk to someone there. We are still on the contract stage but we liked what we see so far, even tho the price is a bit higher than other ones we've got. However, they seem to not have seen a contract before which is a bit surprising to us. We are waiting to see if their big boss agree with what we had down in paper, which protects both parties. I will update if we both decide to move forward with the job. Update: GFS responded to us saying they don't want to sign the contract. This kinda makes us raise an eye brow, because our generic AI drafted contract is super reasonable. Stuff like if there are any changes, it has to be communicated in writing. I don't get why. I think their refusal to agree in writing really makes us worry and doubt their reliability... we ain't about to drop $20k when there's no reassurance! We hired GFS to do new quartz countertops and tile backsplash, LVP flooring and carpet. They did an excellent job! We are so pleased. Edson did a great job of overseeing and coordinating every aspect of the job, Tony did the tile work - he is a perfectionist. We contracted with GFS in early May 2025, to do a complete kitchen renovation, together with new flooring in the adjoining rooms. Their work was highly professional, prompt, and skillful. They were polite, and always on time. They were always willing to discuss if we were in doubt of a decision. Edson and Eli were our project managers and they helped us make decisions, They always made sure we had minimal disruption. We are extremely happy with the results, everything looks great and everything stayed on budget. We actually enjoyed the process with little to no conflicts or problems. I had such a great experience working with GFS Flooring, they replaced the flooring and fixed ceiling and walls caused by water leaks from my upstairs bathroom. peobably would not recommend this flooring place. my kitchen flooded and the even the unlayment needed repair and replacing. some areas are still. bit uneven. my moldings are not the standard 3" in height so the reused what I had and only replace the quarter rounds. all of my molding have hammer marks and the corners were caulked ao poorly they have flops that need sanding and I can't do all that. read more

I see several negative ratings for this company which is unfortunate because after working with them, I see that these are dependent on who you work with there. Edson, however, is the absolute best part of GFS. He does not only follow through with what he says he does, he actually went over an above for us! Would give 0 stars, but couldn't. Decent Price however: their work was shoddy, messy and they acted as if they didn't care to do it right. They bought supplies for our project and tried to cheat us with the receipt they provided . They installed plumbing that leaked, a bathroom mirror that was not fully attached and hung a bathroom light fixture crooked. We have to have someone else fix what they did, In the middle of the project they wanted to change the terms to the contract and because we wouldn't agree, they walked off the job and told us they wouldn't come back to finish. I am actually quite shocked at the negative reviews here. I worked with Edson and he was one of them responsive reps I have ever worked with on ANY contracting project. The work is pristine, the sub-contractors were responsive to any request, and Edson was always available by phone during business hours and even returned an email over the weekend. There was literally zero complaints during 3 weeks working with us after a flood in our basement required a complete remodel. Very thankful we found this company and Edson in particular.
