I visited the 67th Ave and Indian School location three times within a month. The rep was nice and before leaving encouraged me to do a review. The first time she disclosed the fee I agreed and when looking at receipt it was double what she said. Thought it was a fluke so I ignored it. That is until it happened again. She told me it would be $6.00 to issue a refund check then charged $12.00. Three times the fees were not as disclosed. I only discovered AFTER I was persuaded to do a Google review. The service was good, however the "convenience fee" was not disclosed or provided until the receipt after paying. The MVD fee for a travel ID renewal was $25, yet the "convenience fee" added on was $35.00 making the cost $60. That is a fee of 140% - more than double the regular cost. Definitely not worth the additional fee. Places I have used in the past for other MVD services was usually $10 to $20, depending on the process. read more

I paid this facility to inspect and process a bonded title. 4 months and no communication. I had to come back again and sat for over an hour and they can't seem to understand why it's so frustrating. Took my teenager here for a driving test got there right when they opened and still waited an hour. The women that came out to administer the test to my son was too large to fit into the car and short and rude to me. In 4 minutes my kid was back and said they told him he failed. They charged us $75 which was not on their price sheet and said he didn't hit a cone or a curb but there was an imaginary wall. They yelled at him and told me he didn't follow instructions. I asked to see the video and you literally could not hear or see her give him any instructions and the three point turn was done correctly. If you feel like getting scammed then this is your place. Came in for a new license. Pre-filled paperwork online to help cut down time. I waited about 15 mins for someone to check me in. No greeting or hello the service rep said "What I do for you?" No smile at all. I explained why I was here and handed her my paperwork. She then asked me to step to the side and get my picture. Then pushed all my paperwork back to me and said they will call me after it processes. It took them about an hour to process everything. So plan on waiting. I came on a Monday around 11ish. It was not packed just the processing process is slow. The fees will be higher because it's a 3rd party however it is worth it since the MVD wait would be even longer. The place is clean but smells like a musty odor. There is plenty of seating and open windows to service you. Parking is not a problem. read more

Terrible. Was standing there for 3 hours for 5 title transfers only able to get 3 done. Waste of time never going back again had to leave couldn't wait any longer. They offer fish and game services but don't have a certified person there available to get it done. I'm used to going to Parker mvd and Havasu quick stop 10/10. This was a beyond negative experience and have to pay for their services for each transaction. The worst business I have EVER dealt with. Staff is RUDE! One person says this documentation will work you go home and get it come back then the next person says "oh not acceptable!" I can actually say the DMV would be way easier to do business with. The State of AZ should pull the authority from this business. GG&D had perfectly average service. It took me about 2 hours to get a new license and registration processed; the people that were helping me were often pulled away to help somebody else with their customers. It was frustrating that my patience and politeness meant that I was passed over for quick service. However, I got everything done in a shorter time than I'm used to when it comes to MVD/DMVs. As far as pricing goes, I paid $53 for a license that costs $25 at a MVD. If you can, bring cash! The credit card processing cost an additional $3 :( However, the extra cost was well worth the convenience in my opinion. Easy parking too :) read more

I bought a used car from a friend recently and came here to get it registered. I was in and out of the building in under 15 minutes - unheard of at a regular MVD!! The woman at window 20 was very helpful and got me through the process quickly. We re-registered my old license plate to my new car and issued a new title. Don't go here. Please Do Not Go Here!!! I unfortunately came here due to the covid 19 crisis because the MVD was closed. They claim they are an extension from the MVD, but that simply is NOT the case. They also explain the wrong information, misguided you, and if you have a dispute, forget about it. They state the supervisor is conveniently not on the property and they have no idea when he/she will be back. This is absolutely a scam. 100 percent. Ask for your bill breakdown BEFORE you hand them a payment. Because you will not get refunded, or have the ability to talk to a supervisor. They issued me the wrong plate and could not print out a new title. (Like i said, this is not an extension of the MVD like they advertise.) Though I had a valid work authorization, they are not able to initiate DL renewal process, the reason they said is the work authorization document is in future date and I already have a DL for my current work authorization status which cannot be used again to issue a DL. Totally a stupid reason. They simply don't understand and can't justify on what basis they consider DL renewal. Its a waste of time talking to these people. If you have that extra time, please go to DMV and get your things done, rather than arguing and wasting your time with some stupid irrational people. When you realize three hours on hold, three calls to the DMV or the two week wait for an appointment at a DMV is less of a headache than going to GG&D. These people are awful and lie straight to your face. The other day I go to the location at country club and southern to apply for a new title because the old one had been misplaced in a move. Then to transfer the title to the new owner. I had to re-register the car I was selling in order to do that. State rules. So I do that, transfer the title and I ask how to go about getting my refund for the registration fee. The guy at the counter tells me to log in to azmvdnow request a refund and that's it. Ok, so I go home, do that and there's no record of the transaction. At this point I'm a little more concerned about ownership liability than I am about the 60 bucks in reg fees for an old car wondering if I'll be on the hook if the new owner wrecks the car. I go back and explain this after talking with someone at the dmv and the lady at the counter of GG&D straight up lies to my face saying the car was never even registered after looking at the history of the vehicle. Really, that's interesting because you can't re-title a car without also registering it at that time. What ended up happening is that the newb at the counter during my first transaction had applied my registration to the new owner of the car. So at this point I recognize I've basically paid to register the new owners car for a year and there's little I can do about getting the 60 bucks in registration fees back without 4 hours of phone calls to the DMV, another visit to GG&D for records which I find out they can't do and then off to the DMV to sort this all out for good. And of course this is one of those situations where the DMV says no, you gotta go to GG&D to do this and GG&D says no, you gotta go to the DMV to do this. Save yourself the headache of GG&D and spend 2 hours on hold with the DMV or wait the two weeks to go to a real DMV. If they can't handle something as simple as the transfer of a car title or registration you can be reasonably assured your walking into a nightmare if you visit these people. read more

I went to the central baseline location and the girls were very rude. I was helped when they felt like it and when I got to the counter the lady was so rude she wasn't even willing to listen to me she just rolled her eyes needless to say I just left and thought hey I'll go to work and after I'll try it agian. They called me later that day as they realized they requested a standard ID instead of a travel ID so I had to go back and go through the entire process again from start to finish. Terrible terrible place. Deserves ZERO stars. I went a few months ago to renew my license which cost $58. I assumed it would be mailed, and with holidays, Covid and a surgery, I had forgotten about it. Recently, the subject came up and it reminded me that I never did receive the license. I went up to GG&D to inquire about it after being told on the phone that nothing could be discussed on the phone. After being shuffled back and forth to three windows, I end up talking to the manager, Alberto who was totally useless in helping. He wanted me to pay an additional fee of $29 to get my license. I told him I had never received it. He just repeated himself, you must pay more. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but amazingly, there was no one available. He said I waited too long to inquire, that policy was 60 days. I asked where was this policy? Is it posted? Is it written someplace and given to the customer? Is it told to the customer? No, no, and no. I went to the MVD website then to get my license resent. I will never go to this service again, and I was not the only upset person in the building. Don't waste your money. Go directly to the DMV. Once they have your money they just want more and provide absolutely NO customer service to help you. I have reported this place to to the the Motor Vehicle Dept. and the Better Business Bureau. read more

Stopped in with name change and to get travel ID. First off, the numbering system was out of paper, waited 10 minutes for them to finally start giving people numbers manually. I had all required documentation, however the supervisor would not accept the paperwork from the social security office verifying the name change even though social security office said it was an official form. The clerk said if I had a W2, they would accept that, but how would I have a W2 with my new name on it when I just got married 2 weeks ago! The are clueless. I don't see any difference in going here or going to the actual DMV as far as wait time goes and they are not very friendly. I wish I would have gone to DMV, they would have accepted the form with no issues. read more
