His bedside manner is so approachable and Dr. Ghitea speaks to you in a way you can digest and understand. I've had several procedures done for my pets at this clinic and communication during the procedures and postop is always top tier. The prices at the clinic are beyond fair - I've recommended family and friends to his practice. The team responds to triage emails and send notes to the doctor if you call in. I feel so cared for at this clinic and my pets are so comfortable with Dr. Ghitea and his team. We received a call the day before his surgery to go over details. They have a parking lot out front which made it easy the next morning. When we walked in we were greeted warmly. The front was clean and organized. My only suggestion would be to have the option to complete paperwork online beforehand instead of doing in clinic. It was hard to read and sign papers with a puppy (he was so excited by all the new smells). They gave us the time frame of when he could be ready and followed-up after his surgery for pick-up time. We opted to pay a little bit extra to get the disposal stitches so we wouldn't have to go back to get them taken out. The post care instructions were clear. We appreciated the follow-up call the day after his surgery to check on him. Overall we had a great experience.

They knew Mimosa's history of not eating, being difficult to get medication into from day one. They should have recommended hospitalization from day one. She was eating, drinking and going to the bathroom for them so they sent her home all drugged up. At home she wouldn't eat so I had to arrange a ride and drag poor Mimosa all the way out there again and instead of keeping her, they released her again. The third time it was too late. They fucked around with her delicate condition for too long and there was no bringing her back even after two days of hospitalization. She died in my arms on August 25, 2026. They let us take our time, and answered any questions we had. We opted to get Dante cremated and the little carved wooden box we received was beautiful. A month later, I was told they had "missed" a $200 charge--an employee "mistake," according to the office manager. When I asked for an invoice, I received a broken payment link with no amount or client ID and no itemized bill. When an invoice was finally provided, the charge had mysteriously increased to $250 with no explanation. A billing error can happen. But failing to accurately total a bill at checkout, then failing to provide a clear and accurate invoice when challenged, is a serious billing problem. Get everything in writing before paying anything. Better yet, take your business elsewhere.

Oregon Secretary of State registration shows the Authorized Representative for Cat Care Professionals as Peter Jacobson. Per his LinkedIn page, Peter Jacobson is the CFO of Western Veterinary Partners (also noted in the Oregon Secretary of State registration) which, "is a private equity backed company that acquires and manages veterinary clinics throughout the U.S." The care shows it. I'm sure the staff cares, but they were happy to take my money and drop my cat who needs care. I would give a zero if I could. (They were a 5/5 about 10 years ago.)
