I ordered a charcuterie plater, figured we could take it home, which we did. Anyway, I took a bit of her sandwich, and even though I wasn't hungry, I ate about half of it. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had of any kind. Very simple but delicious. Baguette was amazing, beef appeared to be cured somehow, huge flavor, au jus was great. Today I am going to Timnath to meet a friend for lunch and I am going to make a 30 minute detour to get a sandwich for us for dinner. Not inexpensive, but worth it. I decided to go with the Roma. She was right! It was refreshing. I loved every bite. Very bread-forward but clearly a high quality bake. My partner got the French Dip and enjoyed it. There's a few small tables as well as barstools along the wall, but most people ordered to-go. Check out the marketplace items, too. So cute!

I think my friends from NYC would probably say the bagels aren't chewy enough, but I think the not-so-chewy texture is just fine for a sandwich - who needs egg salad squirting out when you take a bite? I wasn't sure what I wanted to drink - the server went through a few options and hit upon an iced matcha latte - that sounded like it would hit the spot. Relative to other places one can get an iced matcha latte I think the one at CYM is a pretty good value - a large cup, not too much ice, and tasty. While it didn't take long for my order to come up, I will say that the interior of the shop is jarringly pink - I dunno, bright enough to put me on edge like someone was kvetching at me. My omelette (with cheese, spinach, mushrooms, and onions) was fine, but nothing unusual from an omelette you'd get elsewhere. Home fries and ciabatta toast were both really good too. The sandwiches and wraps are every bit as generous and fresh as the salads, packed with ingredients rather than skimping to save a buck. You can tell the food is made with care, not just assembled.
