Busy Friday night with a lively atmosphere. The hostess/server was friendly when we arrived, and the food itself was good. As the evening went on, the service felt a bit rushed. A to-go box was brought out while I was still eating and before I asked for one, which made us feel hurried. Drink refills also weren't offered until we were nearly finished. The meal was enjoyable overall, but the price felt high for what we ordered--nearly $30 per person with tip for a club sandwich, fries, and an iced tea. With a little more attentiveness and less pressure to turn tables, this could be a much better experience. read more

Just moved to this side of town and stopped in for dinner. Great options on the menu. It's a smaller place, but we only waited about 5 minutes for a table to open up during dinner time on a Friday, it was definitely busy. Service was great, we were greeted promptly and everything came out great. We ordered; French onion soup - it was good and would order again. Chicken tenders and fries - pretty standard and would order again. However, ordered ranch and mild buffalo on the side and the buffalo sauce was so sweet, not tangy or even mildly spicy and they do charge $1 extra for sauce. Definitely will not order that again. And we also had the red chili cheese burger and it was pretty good! The chili was yummy and would order again Overall a nice spot in town to go to and we are glad it's here. read more

We've wanted to venture up north to Wellington to try something different. Wellington Grill was a great spot for a burger and a beer, outdoor is a perfect, shady patio. Food and service were great. Only reason for 4 stars not 5, burger was ordered medium, came out well done. read more

On my latest visit, the server was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, the aromas wafting from the kitchen were more inviting than usual, adding to my anticipation for the meal. It felt like a well-rounded experience that elevated my overall impression of the restaurant. The bartender was discussing a criminal case that felt entirely too private for the setting. It made everyone uncomfortable, leaving us with no option but to listen intently as she recounted her story about "evidence" and BAC. Hometown, mostly American fare worth the money. Last visit, my lady friend had one of her best big grilled chicken salads of the year. I myself had a quite healthy pork chop special (not sure it's always on the menu). This is likely the best current restaurant in Wellington (Papy's Table recently closed unfortunately). The venerable T-Bar a block east is still good, esp for breakfast, but Well Grill is a star better for lunch and dinner. 11 years ago this restaurant had quality food that was quite delicious. This week I stopped in for take-out. The French fries were limp and oily and the fish was burned. Absolutely no quality work, no care given. Just a subpar meal handed out, overpriced. Do not recommend. Let's stop buying food at restaurants who don't care at all. Over-priced and unyieldy. I have been to this restaurant about a half dozen times, and always feel the same way--the food is overpriced and selection is not great. The worst part about this place is that you MUST order an entire meal, including fries/baked beans/ rings/cottage cheese etc. You CANNOT just get a burger, wrap, chicken tenders, etc by itself for a few dollers less. And, if you don't choose fries, you will receive virtually nothing. I didn't feel like french fries, and instead ordered baked beans, and you could almost count the number of beans they served on 2 or 3 hands. Literally, three spoonfuls! And the burgers are nearly $17, wraps nearly $18, salads are $16 and none of them are all that large. There doesn't seem to be a side order menu, and if you feel like eating light, you won't be able to eat there for less than $15! Each time I have been there, I have eaten on the patio, and the service out there has been abysmal. Don't know if it is any better inside, but it sure is awful outside! A MUCH better deal is the T-bar just down the street, whre there are PLENTY of options for under $15, and the food is just as good, the service is better and there are much more options! Very family friendly- there is a connect four game outside. Honestly, the only thing that was bad about Wellington Grill is the ice cream. Maybe it was just the day that we went there, but the ice cream had hair and dead bugs in it, not to mention it tasted stale and horrible. Everything else is good though! We took 3 boys in for dinner - expecting to leave exhausted from wrangling them. We were wrong! We had wonderful nachos, burgers, drinks and service while the boys played next to our table on the back patio. Everyone was SO NICE!!! Easy parking! Great and varied menu. Family friendly! Have been to this site many times. Food and service has slowly gotten worse. Tonight was the worse. Came in after playing golf nearby. Waitress was friendly at first. When we ordered water her whole demeanour changed. We ordered a $15 handburger and $20 fish and chips. After 25 minutes with no visit from the server, had to wave her down to ask about our order. She rudely told us our order was 3rd in line. She went back to the kitchen and came out 5 minutes to inform us(rudely) that we were now 2nd in order. We left. Get it together. read more

The staff were nice however a bit slow and inattentive. The jalapeños poppers were certainly not enjoyable. The cream cheese poor and then left all the seeds (too hot) and skimpy on bacon. The chicken fried steak was a boxed frozen steak. The French fries in gravy were very good. The green beans had a ridiculous amount of garlic and I love garlic. Me and my girlfriend, went to go pick up a dozen wings for her parent, when we walked in the waitress was giving my girlfriend odd looks and a nasty look which I don't appreciate and especially it was grown ass women try intimidate someone younger that's just completely embarrassing, when she told us to wait at the bar and we did, when the bar tender came to drop off our food, we got our receipt, signed and left, later on we found out that, she tipped her self 15 dollars, DONT COME HERE, there people are willing to be sneaky and take ur money behind ur back. read more

The food is decent bar food. Recommendation would be fish and chips. I ordered the daily special today which was a steak burrito. All 4 pieces of steak bites in it were tender. If you like a ton of rice and not a lot of protein, it is the dish for you. Took 30 minutes on the dot for fish and chips and the daily special. Gourmet food doesn't take that long to prepare. OMG! The smell in this place is horrible. Luckily they have outside seating. I ordered the angry burger. It wasn't that angry. Not much hot sauce and I didn't see the jalepenos it was suppose to have on it.eu My wife ordered the BLTA wrap. It was pretty big. She could only eat half of it. She said it was alright which is not saying it was very good. We haven't eaten there in awhile and their prices are too high for what it is. The food was not that good. Last few times we have been the service has been awful. No one ever comes and checks on us and we all had nothing to drink when the food come. Never was offered a refill had to ask when our food showed up. Mac and cheese was cold and it's supposedly one of there special items. Ordered an old fashioned and it came with muddled cherry's for the first one, the second one didn't even have a cherry. Got done with our meal and sat around for 10 minutes waiting for someone to check on us. The wait staff was all next to the bar talking with a group of people that are obviously regulars. Crispy fries go great with z2 generous planks of white cod dipped in a beer batter and cooked crispy good. Went in with the family for Mother's Day . We ordered drinks and food, the waitress with a neck tattoo tried to fill up our sons soda (his drink was 3/4 full didn't need a refill) with someone's else's used cup of half full soda with ice. The food was mediocre at best, and as soon as our food came, the waitress wanted to bring us our check. Felt we were being pushed out. Reminds me why we don't want to go out anymore. read more

As one of us had bought a gift card through a charity function, We decided to try this and were glad we did! the food was good, the prices reasonable, and the staff friendly. i would suggest that getting rid of the stuffed animals all over the place would make the stars go higher. this is obviously the best little restaurant in Wellington so it was packed tonight. Maybe it was for the great drink prices and tv sports on at the bar. they wouldn't do such a great business if the food was bad, though. I'm sure of it. Gave them a try again on January 25, 2024. Onion soup was basically boiled onions with black burnt cheese on top, I returned it. The fish and chips was burnt and overcooked as well. The restaurant is filthy and smells like stale beer. I have no idea how this place stays open, we will never return. read more

WE drove up to Wellington from FOCO just for a change of pace. This place looked nice online. It did not disappoint. Food was very tasty. Service was very friendly. It was not fast, but we were in no hurry. Love the decor, and all the animal heads around the place were "harvested" by the owners (That's what our waitress told us). It's nothing fancy, but feels authentic, and welcoming, and everything a front range tavern should be. read more

Horrible never coming back. Horrible dish and left with horrible stomach ache!!! I thought I was going to vomit!!! I ordered the Tuscan Shrimp and it tasted disgusting. There was nothing good about it. I sort of blame myself for ordering shrimp in Colorado though. It's never going to be fresh, just frozen. Makes me wonder what their kitchen and food closet/freezer looks like. The shrimp could've been weeks old and I will never know. Besides that, their burgers didn't look appetizing and their buffalo Mac and cheese was so gross, all they did was mix like 5 or 6 different cheeses together and call it that... it tasted like cheap nacho cheese. The only items that were decent/acceptable/average were the cheese sticks, onion rings, and sweet potato fries. I've still had a lot better though. read more
