I had the pleasure of trying Squares Pizza during their 'friends and family' event. Inside is nice - it's an open, connected space with their sister restaurant Atlas Chicken. It was truly their first day open so I won't give them too much gripe about the service, as I know they have some wrinkles to smooth over. Lots of delays and just not a very seamless process, but again, it's a new restaurant and with some processes in place it will surely get better. Now the food - the salads we tried were good, very fresh. No complaints on the beer and alcoholic slush we tried. And for pizzas... we tried the sausage (not bad, just a simple sausage pizza), hot honey pepperoni (absolutely fantastic! Loved the burrata on top), and the BBQ chicken (absolutely fantastic and tons of chicken). The pizzas were cooked well on top and had good flavor. I do think they're overpriced on their food. I realize cost is up on everything but $32 for a large pizza that doesn't live up to the quantity you get for a thin crust large pizza elsewhere, is just a bit steep. Either way, looking forward to trying some carry out soon!

Updated: we went back and while the service remained steady, the crust of both pizzas was terribly soggy in the center. I'm unsure if it was maybe a bad day but we will try it again, 3rd times the charm!

We dined in at Square's on a half price pizza Monday, and the food was fantastic. We had the hot honey pepperoni and ricotta pie and breadsticks. The ambiance is fun, and the service was a 10/10, generous, friendly, and adaptable. Thank you Lawrence!

Le P'tit was the first to pop up on my feed and immediately caught my attention due to its unique menu, historic building, and secluded outdoor oasis for the fair weather seasons. When asked where I wanted to have dinner on my birthday, the answer was easy, L'ptit! We were greeted by the Chef Chopra outside, who welcomed us and asked us to choose the seat that suited us best in or outdoors. We chose a seat outside as it seemed most guests were enjoying the nice weather in the garden. Chef Chopra introduced himself and explained the complimentary montadito, and presented the current specials. We loved that he took time to ask what brought us in, and when we said that we were building a new home in Bartlett only minutes away, he shared that although he has been all over the world he always misses good old Bartlett, IL. This is the kind of connection and service you won't find at franchise restaurants! We enjoyed cocktails, myself a dirty tini with bleu cheese stuffed olives, and my husband the traditional old fashioned and the P'tit old fashioned - both of which he enjoyed. We ordered the hummus for an appetizer - my husband never orders humus. Not a drop was left. It was so flavorful, and since I am intolerant to gluten we loved that it was served with cucumber "chips". We will definitely order this again! Our entrees were both specials - mine the steak and shrimp tower and my husband's the Birria. We could t decide whose was better. The shrimp and steak were so flavorful and beautifully cooked, and the beef and consommé of my husband's was out of this world. My takeaways from Le P'tit: We will be there - regularly, before we move into our home, and after! Have a cocktail, they are fabulous. Talk to Chef Chopra any chance you get. He has seen the world and loves to see his guests enjoying his menu and the atmosphere of his establishment. This is what supporting local is about! Enjoy your time at Le P'tit. Savor. Take a moment to slow down, disconnect from the outside and connect with the ones around you and enjoy the wonderfully and thoughtfully prepared dishes on the menu. We can't wait to be back!

My wife suggested this place and I have never been here prior but once I parked my vehicle and stepped inside, i completely forgot about my worries because I felt like I was at home. The lighting and the atmosphere inside is absolutely beautiful. I feel like I'm in a speakeasy but not so secretive and this place is just warm with positive vibes from the people that are here. Great selection of cocktails and all sorts of seasonal drinks and specials. Mixologists here are highly trained for what they do and are great with their customer service. They have a larger room in the back that I was not able to see that looks like it's for larger parties. My only regret about this place is that I should have came here for Valentine's day. I love that their menu changes so often each season with so many different drinks to try and they are all super inventive. I also love that they sometimes put fun little items on the drinks, such as a page from a book, a temporary tattoo, or a piece of candy. This time, they had their spring 2026 menu. I looked at their Instagram page before coming and decided exactly what I wanted. It's so fun how they write a little story to go along with each cocktail and the thought process behind it. It definitely makes the drinks feel more personal and special. We started off with the Rose Tico Conundrum (very sweet and came with a little piece of raspberry candy) and Pepe Silvia's Pickle Party Plot (really delicious, was surprised by this one). Next we tried the speciality API month drink called Gratitude in Bloom (tasted very gingery and lemony, almost like a healthy tea drink) and the Springtime Thought Crime (very strong with a hint of cherry). There isn't much seating so it's not great for huge groups but I think there is a patio. It's a pretty casual spot and great for just hanging out. The music is loud but the vibe is fun. The bartenders and servers are always amazing and super attentive. They do not serve their own food, but I think they have a food truck sometimes that you can order from and they'll bring it to you. I could be wrong about that, but the people next to us had tacos brought to them on paper plates, which looked delicious.

When you walk inside, it has a classy vibe so please dress appropriately. Women usually dress properly whereas men lack proper etiquette. Clean jeans and a button down shirt will be fine. There is complimentary bread and butter. The bread is crunchy and slightly hard. We ordered duck breast medium rare, mashed potato la France, vitello tonnato, chicken tabaka, potato anna, and kiev cake. Our waiter was Yurii and he was very attentive. He made sure we were well taken care of. Other staff members also stopped by to ask how we're doing. Prices were reasonable for the ambiance and type of restaurant. Yes, it can be pricey. This is the type of restaurant that you would take someone for a special celebration. Food is described as European fusion. Overall 4.5. -duck breast 4 - portion size is small so be aware of that. Only two pieces. However, it is cooked just right. You eat the duck with the apple, pear, cherry, and berry sauce. -mashed potato la France 5 - it has a creamy like texture and just the right amount of spices. -vitello tonnato 5 - very tasty appetizer to start off with. You eat the slow cooked beef tenderloin together with the tonnato sauce and baked tomatoes. It should be one bite at a time. -chicken tabaka 5 - this is very filling. It can easily be shared between two people or one hungry individual. It automatically comes with mashed potatoes. The Cornish hen is super juicy and moist. You'll want to use your hands and eat every piece of meat off the bone. You can dip the meat into the peri peri sauce or adjika sauce. -potato anna 5 - this reminds me of potato au gratin but displayed much nicer. You can see the layers as you cut into it. The sauce with the potatoes was delicious. You can taste the thyme and garlic. -kyiv cake 5 - Yurii told us this is a common dessert in Ukraine. It's not sweet. It has a nice texture that cuts easily. When you first bite into it, it puts a smile on your face. It's worth getting again.

They also changed up their cocktail menu, and we were super excited to see they had some new summer drinks. This is definitely one of my new favorite restaurants in the area. It's perfect for special occasions and date nights. The first two times we came we sat at the bar, but we came right when they opened and were able to be seated at a table. I love the candlesticks they have lit at the tables. There's a a view of the kitchen as well. To drink, I had the Dip in the Backyard Kiddie Pool (very refreshing) and Fresa Fresca (basically a strawberry margarita and it was super refreshing and tasted like strawberry juice). For dessert, we shared the oreo carjillo. It was pretty strong to me, but it definitely tasted like Oreos and milk! We loved everything about The Graceful Ordinary from the ambience to the amazing service (thanks Karen!) to the creative cocktails to the delicious food. When we arrived at the table, there was an anniversary card from the staff. Nice touch! We were brought a loaf of the warm housemade bread with whipped butter to begin. Hubby ordered the Having a Moment bourbon cocktail, and I had the Honey Kiss vodka and elderflower cocktail. Love their creative cocktail list. Karen was a fabulous server, so attentive and friendly. The other staff was on top of everything from water being refilled to clearing dirty dishes and even fresh butter brought to the table when it was low. Our needs were met before we even needed to ask. Also, since Karen knew that we were splitting all the courses, she automatically had the food split between two plates. I liked that. We decided to split everything we ordered. We started with the smoked salmon deviled eggs which were creamy delicious, not to mention beautifully presented. Our second starter was the bone marrow with caramelized shallots. This dish was absolutely amazing. My only critique would be to put four pieces of bread on the plate went two people are sharing. Our next course was a salad and we went with the roasted beet salad with blue cheese and sunflower shoots dressed in a warm bacon vinaigrette. Bacon - need I say more? Our main course was the walleye with ricotta gnudi, fava beans, peas and wild mushrooms. So many flavors and textures going on. The fish was perfectly seared and moist. Delectable. We thought about dessert but we were so full from dinner that we passed. Karen wouldn't let us go without a complimentary dessert in honor of our anniversary to enjoy at home, their signature butterscotch pot de crème with sea salt caramel. The Graceful Ordinary certainly made our anniversary special with the anniversary card at the table, and the complementary dessert. If you're in the western Chicago burbs, I highly recommend checking this restaurant out.

Many of the other reviews cover the drinks really well, so there's little else to add. If you're there for "classic" cocktails, this isn't really the place (although, the foie gras old fashioned was super, sort of classic, but also unique). The point of the place is to drink flavors you've never tasted in a glass before. The BLT cocktail...literally tastes like an actual BLT (literally!)...except you're drinking it rather than chewing it. This place is so great, employees seem to really love their job. The only negative experience I've had there was related to a group of 10 or so who showed up, and this was clearly not their first stop of the evening. They were loud and already clearly buzzed, and just ordered Modelos.
