    Pepperoni Hot Honey

1/2 Price Pizza Monday's! Squares Pizza Pub has opened directly next to Atlas Chicken in Bartlett. There is minimal exterior signage for Squares specifically and there is additional parking along the side of the building. They share a front outdoor patio and the interior is subtly divided yet connected. The atmosphere does come across as casual to match the fast casual style of Atlas Chicken. The Squares Pizza Pub side has a large bar, some back booths, and a good amount of tables. The menu has a variety of appetizers, salads, and pizzas. The pizzas come in two sizes: small (4 slices) or large (8 slices). We ended up ordering a small Sausage & Fennel Pie & Pepperoni Hot Honey Pie. I loved the flavor of the Pepperoni Hot Honey with sweet ricotta and honey that pooled in the pepperoni cups. The crust was crispy yet the center tasty doughy which is true Detroit style. Their pies have a sweeter sauce which I enjoyed as well. It was great to visit when pies were 1/2 off so we could try two flavors. Most specialty pies are $18 for a small and $32 for a large. The owner stopped by our table to see how we liked the pizza and talk about the inspiration behind Squares. This is a great addition to the Bartlett area and I'm so happy I was able to try them out!

Square Pizza Pub in Bartlett is absolutely worth the hype. We ordered takeout and went with their Detroit-style pizza topped with pepperoni and hot honey and it was outstanding. Perfectly crisp edges, fluffy interior, great balance of sweet heat and savory flavor. This is truly one to not miss. We also picked up a Caesar salad and a Caprese salad, both fresh and well done. You can tell they care about every detail. Square Pizza Pub is clearly a hopping spot and definitely one to check out whether you're dining in or grabbing it to go.

I had the pleasure of trying Squares Pizza during their 'friends and family' event. Inside is nice - it's an open, connected space with their sister restaurant Atlas Chicken. It was truly their first day open so I won't give them too much gripe about the service, as I know they have some wrinkles to smooth over. Lots of delays and just not a very seamless process, but again, it's a new restaurant and with some processes in place it will surely get better. Now the food - the salads we tried were good, very fresh. No complaints on the beer and alcoholic slush we tried. And for pizzas... we tried the sausage (not bad, just a simple sausage pizza), hot honey pepperoni (absolutely fantastic! Loved the burrata on top), and the BBQ chicken (absolutely fantastic and tons of chicken). The pizzas were cooked well on top and had good flavor. I do think they're overpriced on their food. I realize cost is up on everything but $32 for a large pizza that doesn't live up to the quantity you get for a thin crust large pizza elsewhere, is just a bit steep. Either way, looking forward to trying some carry out soon!

Updated: we went back and while the service remained steady, the crust of both pizzas was terribly soggy in the center. I'm unsure if it was maybe a bad day but we will try it again, 3rd times the charm!

My wife suggested this place and I have never been here prior but once I parked my vehicle and stepped inside, i completely forgot about my worries because I felt like I was at home. The lighting and the atmosphere inside is absolutely beautiful. I feel like I'm in a speakeasy but not so secretive and this place is just warm with positive vibes from the people that are here. Great selection of cocktails and all sorts of seasonal drinks and specials. Mixologists here are highly trained for what they do and are great with their customer service. They have a larger room in the back that I was not able to see that looks like it's for larger parties. My only regret about this place is that I should have came here for Valentine's day. They have a menu and a QR menu as well. Pro tip : please dim the brightness on your phone

I love that their menu changes so often each season with so many different drinks to try and they are all super inventive. I also love that they sometimes put fun little items on the drinks, such as a page from a book, a temporary tattoo, or a piece of candy. This time, they had their spring 2026 menu. I looked at their Instagram page before coming and decided exactly what I wanted. It's so fun how they write a little story to go along with each cocktail and the thought process behind it. It definitely makes the drinks feel more personal and special. We started off with the Rose Tico Conundrum (very sweet and came with a little piece of raspberry candy) and Pepe Silvia's Pickle Party Plot (really delicious, was surprised by this one). Next we tried the speciality API month drink called Gratitude in Bloom (tasted very gingery and lemony, almost like a healthy tea drink) and the Springtime Thought Crime (very strong with a hint of cherry). There isn't much seating so it's not great for huge groups but I think there is a patio. It's a pretty casual spot and great for just hanging out. The music is loud but the vibe is fun. The bartenders and servers are always amazing and super attentive. They do not serve their own food, but I think they have a food truck sometimes that you can order from and they'll bring it to you. I could be wrong about that, but the people next to us had tacos brought to them on paper plates, which looked delicious.

When you walk inside, it has a classy vibe so please dress appropriately. Women usually dress properly whereas men lack proper etiquette. Clean jeans and a button down shirt will be fine. We ordered duck breast medium rare, mashed potato la France, vitello tonnato, chicken tabaka, potato anna, and kiev cake. Our waiter was Yurii and he was very attentive. He made sure we were well taken care of. Other staff members also stopped by to ask how we're doing. Prices were reasonable for the ambiance and type of restaurant. Yes, it can be pricey. This is the type of restaurant that you would take someone for a special celebration. Food is described as European fusion. Overall 4.5. -duck breast 4 - portion size is small so be aware of that. Only two pieces. However, it is cooked just right. You eat the duck with the apple, pear, cherry, and berry sauce. -mashed potato la France 5 - it has a creamy like texture and just the right amount of spices. -vitello tonnato 5 - very tasty appetizer to start off with. You eat the slow cooked beef tenderloin together with the tonnato sauce and baked tomatoes. It should be one bite at a time. -chicken tabaka 5 - this is very filling. It can easily be shared between two people or one hungry individual. It automatically comes with mashed potatoes. The Cornish hen is super juicy and moist. You'll want to use your hands and eat every piece of meat off the bone. You can dip the meat into the peri peri sauce or adjika sauce. -potato anna 5 - this reminds me of potato au gratin but displayed much nicer. You can see the layers as you cut into it. The sauce with the potatoes was delicious. You can taste the thyme and garlic. -kyiv cake 5 - Yurii told us this is a common dessert in Ukraine. It's not sweet. It has a nice texture that cuts easily. When you first bite into it, it puts a smile on your face. It's worth getting again.

While some of the spice flavors were vibrant, the actual quantity of meat was shockingly minimal. The chicken entrée had only a few small strips of chicken, and the lamb dish came with just one small lamb shank. For the price point, the lack of protein felt disproportionate and misleading. If you're ordering lamb or chicken expecting a hearty portion, be aware -- the quantity is very limited. The papad and paneer appetizer was overly rich and not very balanced, and although the concept of house-infused liquors is creative, the cocktails themselves were underwhelming. We spent about $300 on two drinks, two appetizers, and three entrées (one vegetarian), and left feeling that the value simply did not match the portion sizes. Fellow diners should know that while the concept is appealing, the protein portions are notably sparse for the cost.

This place is incredible... the food is to die for. It's the first place I've been to and did not feel like bloated or so full to where I was sick because the portions were perfect. Nothing here fell short, in fact it's the first place in the burbs where the food wasn't overly salted or fried in some type of oil. Everything tasted fresh. The flavors were busting up in my mouth every bite I took, even down to snowball fight drink we had. I highly, highly recommend the bread cheese appetizer- this was something super unique to me as I've only had grilled up cheese one other time in Brazil, Queijo Coalho.... There was a beautiful twist on this cheese- crunchy, creamy, sweet, savory and the honey and tabbouleh were such a great finish to this dish. Pair this with the fresh bread and it was chefs kiss! We had the beer braised short rib and seabass- two completely different flavored entres that we absolutely perfect. The short rib you literally can't go wrong with- melted in my mouth with every bite - and hats off the the chef who cooked the onions so perfect to actually be able to taste them instead of just carmelizing or salting them! I would call this your typical Midwest comfort dish. The seabass was much different the salad was tangy with the lentils being rich- add a nice cooked crispy top seabass and you got yourself a unique dish of flavors that will have you thinking what's in it after hours! But the star of the show was dessert of course - OMFG - s'mores ice cream sunday ....... I died and went to heaven literally. I have never tasted ice cream that mimicked everything I've ever wanted my ice cream to taste like. It was the perfect temperature (trust me a lot of restaurants it's either rock hard or melted) this was epic. Creamy, almost pudding like and being able to taste every note was wild to me. The graham cracker - yes the freaking graham cracker was the best one I've ever tasted in my life. Clearly I've never had a graham cracker without preservatives before. The chocolate syrup .... Jeeze let me tell if I could swim in it I would.... The service was friendly, prompt and right on time. The server knew all the cues and timing of all the food to come out. She checked in everytime we got something to make sure everything was just right... you can tell she takes her job seriously but also knows how to interact with people - something a lot of servers lack these days so we really appreciated the service. As for the atmosphere- this place blows a lot of the chi city restaurants out of the water. The organic feel but fancy!
