Visited a couple of weeks ago on my way through. Pizza was good. Service not so much. The older lady who waited on us was audibly nasty with the kitchen staff. Attentive to us, but it didn't feel genuine. Mumbled under her breath as she walked away making us feel like we put her out asking for drinks. My husband and I went to Gianni's by a referral from a friend that told us that the pizza is super delicious. He was right on!!!!! We found our pizza place. We got the combination medium size and it was so so good that we regret not getting a large one to get left overs. Plan on ordering a pizza tonight, then I will be able to rate, but as far as websites, this place needs to get a computer nerd to set one up for them with a menu. Food may be good, but no decent website with menu & no delivery gets a 1/2 star rating. OK, ordered 2 different small pizza's & was overwhelmed with joy. No more Papa John's. Best pizza I've had in Florida, am from Chicago & you can understand why it's been hard finding a good one. Only thing negative, order french fries & for over $2, the size was really skimpy. Our pizza was delicious. The place was packed, smelled great. I would have liked a little upkeep. The paneling on the bathroom walls was dated. The ceiling looks like it's falling in areas. So go, it's delicious but don't think about the decor & building. read more

I have tried to order pizza 3 times. And every time I am told 1 1/2 to 2 hours . I wish I could rate there food, but I can never get food in a reasonable amount of time . Also they make no apologize for such long wait time. very bad service even for takeout. Unless you have 3 hours to get a pizza is just unreasonable. I will not recommend this place to anyone. I live across the street in a 55 and older community. And I will tell everyone in know here not to patronize this place . I don't care how good there food is . The service sucks!!! read more

We tried the carry out at two pizza places recently. We ordered pepperoni, sausage, extra cheese, lite sauce on thin crust. Gianni's Pizza was first. We got a 14 inch pizza and it was very good. So good that we decided there wasn't any need to try others. But to be fair we tried again. Mark Anthony Pizza was second. They only offered a 16 inch pizza. It was quite good, particularly the cheese. I wasn't overly fond of the sausage slices. But a good pizza. Overall, we liked Gianni's Pizza best and rated it a notch above. We can't quite rate it perfect because we need to try more places. read more

Oh my. What the heck happened to Gianni's pizza? It was always one of the best around. We picked three up for takeout tonight for a neighborhood get together and everyone was sadly surprised how tasteless and rubbery their crust was. One of the pizzas we ordered was the garlic, mozzarella, ricotta white pizza and that was the most dissappointing. Most in our group say they won't but I am willing to give them another try since we have been getting pizza there for so many years and it has been delicious. Hands down my favorite pizza in Pasco county. I usually order the combination cut in squares with toppings to the edge on a thin crust with extra bacon and jalapeños. I live within s. We go to Gianni's occasionally and always have a wonderful time. Every person working there is very courteous. Our waitress, Meagan is a treasure. They are so Blessed to have her. Visiting from out of town and found this place. We loved the pizza, thin crust combo minus peppers and light on the sauce. Best pizza we have had in a long time. Service was spot on and friendly. They even brought a brownie from their personal stash to my husband after he turned down their Italian deserts. We'd like to go back and try some Italian dishes. Love this place, although they're always busy, they're always nice about us sitting to chat. The food is very good, like both the thin and thicker crust on the pizza. Also the calzones are great. Excellent authentic Italian food in a homey atmosphere. This is a family run restaurant and the decor is unpretentious to say the least. But the food is delicious and the servings are so big that you will definitely take home half to eat for lunch tomorrow! I order the calzone when I go and it is wonderful every time. I see no recent reviews so wanted to post an update. The food is wonderful as always. For the last 30 years I have gotten food approximately once a month from Giannis. Over the last 30 years prices have increased nominally. No one expects prices to remain constant. In August a new menu was created and a few things even had no price increase. Everything else increased 20-30 percent. I know things are tougher now with all of the COVID restrictions and have heard that some restaurants are adding a COVID charge. And yes, I have went there less frequently since this whole thing started. The Sicilian Combo that I love went up to $26 and while I did pay that price once - I don't think I will be able to pay it again. It was a 30 percent increase. The lasagna that I love went up 20 percent, so I may get that again, but overall I won't be able to get their food as much as I did in the past. Whenever people came in from out of town I would get Giannis and it was always awesome. So be prepared. Same great food will cost you considerably more. For the food I give them 5 stars. For the prices I give them 3 stars or maybe 2 stars or maybe no stars. I just hope they are not pricing themselves out of business because it really is a great place. read more

Great Pepperoni Pizza. I love it even better the next day, it reheats crisp and gooey in our toaster oven. Garlic bread sucks, its just crappy bread with margarine and garlic salt on top. We eat there whenever we are in the area. read more
