Tried Gianni's on recommendation of others. We had a combo pizza which was excellent. We're picky as far as wanting full flavor, fresh ingredients, good value. Restaurant is older inside and has very pleasant atmosphere. Liked the 'oldness!' Those who want new, shiny ultra-modern, stop complaining and go somewhere else! Will definitely return for more eating enjoyment. read more

I would give ZERO stars if it was possible. They LOST our order. We drove 15 minutes to pick up our pizza with plans to enjoy it at the beach for Sunset. Only to get there and have them say that they didn't have the order. A few minutes later they said that they found the order but it would take time to make. We specifically placed the order 1-1/2 hour in advance because the prior week when we called the wait time was an hour. It was a very disappointing experience and I would never recommend anyone to them since they are clearly incompetent. read more

I am not one to write reviews as I believe people usually will write only if they had a bad experience that would not usually be the norm but after hearing such wonderful things about this place I decided to try it and I regret ever stepping inside this place. Forget the fact that I told the kid manning the register that I was looking forward to trying his Pie(he totally ignored me) the fact that one of the Pies ordered was a Sicilian or was supposed to be- when I got home and opened my box I saw a deep dish Pizza -it also had the old fast food pizza standard rat dropping sausage nuggets instead of having real sausage slices. I called there and the idiot actually said that " a lot of people think sicilian means a thick square pizza but it doesn't have to be square." As an Italian NYer who has eaten Pie all over this country-having slept in over 36 states- I must tell you that I have had well over 1000 Pies and this was the first Sicilian that was round- it was a standard deep dish_though certainly not a Chitown type of deep dish nor was it Sicilian. i live near by and sometimes this place is really packed. so finally one day my girlfriend and i decide to check it out. we walked in and sat down excited. server came and right away rude like saying what do you want and not interested in taking our order. the place was not buzzy at the time. then she dissappeared. 20 min later took our order a large pizza and lasagna. when it came. pizza was to laugh at so gross and lasagna from the freezer. don't understand why they are so popular but good for them lol. read more

The staff was nice. No wait to sit down, which should have been a clue. Reasonable pitcher of beer price. I asked if the eggplant was made in house, and the waitress was honest and said frozen. Entrees seemed over priced at around 10 dollars for a half order and 15 for a full order. We ended up splitting a stromboli, which looked like a hot mess..had cheddar cheese in it and was bland. They charge you an extra dollar fifty for SAUCE to dunk it in. The sauce was basically unseasoned canned tomato. No garlic..no oregano...no nothing. Kind of tangy but not in a good way. Very disappointing. While they seemed like nice people it was just MEH...Definitely not worth a second trip. read more

We have drove by this place for a while now and it's always packed so we decided to try it tonight. Great place. We have a place in Michigan that is almost like this. Friendly and clean. If you like a thin crust pizza you can't go wrong here. Very authentic. They only complaint was the price. But we did get some eggplant fries so that was probably what pushed it up. Ordered a to go pizza for our first time here. Simple pepperoni, but dynomite flavor. My wife also got a salad so the bill was around $20. The crust was a great thin style, not a cracker crust, but certainly thin with no sacrifice to the flavor. We then tried another local place with the initials FS and this pie won that match this time. :) read more

Gianni's is still great. Other reviewer must have gotten take-out on a bad day. It's always better in-house, but the take-out's good, too. Not as wild about some of the dinners - and NO clam sauce! Oh, well. The thin-crust pizza really is good. read more

Whenever we are in Florida, a stop at Gianni's is a must. A new treat this time was a buffalo chicken pizza with gorgonzola. DELICIOUS! But our favorite is still the combination pizza with hummy sausage with a hint of anise. And their homemade crust that is hand-thrown in the old-fashioned way is the best anywhere. Paired with an enormous salad topped with everything you can think of, this is always a feast. Service is always prompt, efficient, and friendly. I don't think it gets better than this anywhere! read more
