The Manager would not come out and talk to me and the associate was very condescending with no apology. As big as the company is, they could have loaded the Gift Card since I provided proof. Needless to say, we will be buying our gift cards from Kroger. And all future food purchases.

Their produce is lovely & fresh (oh, those big bags of crimini mushrooms...), their staff is helpful & friendly, and they offer a lot of local & regional options to national/pricey brands. We've been shopping there for a few months now. If they only had pharmacy, they'd be perfect, but you can't have everything.

I always buy Amish chicken from Kroger. They're the only chicken brand I buy in there, so to see this is where the supply comes from was confirmation I've been buying the right brand. They had a nice deal on leg quarters at the time. It was $10 for 10 lbs, which was a lot of meat! They had whole chickens available. You could choose between a 3 pound chicken or 5 lbs. The key here is they're normal size chickens because they don't have added hormones. They also sell chicken Italian sausage, chicken gizzards, whole duck, and more in the freezer section. There were a few beef options and it was the real color of beef...because there's nothing added to give it that false red color. I forgot to inquire about turkey products while I was there. I will definitely visit again.

I'd heard about all of the fancy expensive things they sold, but it seemed to me like it was just the same things you could get elsewhere but more expensive. I'm all about the discount stores, and I enjoy browsing the ridiculous things in expensive places...but this was neither of those things. The slightly Soviet ambience of all the grey walls and ceilings did not help. It worked great as a place to pick up my package, but I don't think I'd go back for actual shopping.

Only four stars because there was just one open register lane on a fairly busy Saturday (another was opened once the line stretched far back) and the automated hand sanitizer in front of the store was broken (though they had a small pump next to it). They had an incident a few months ago with their refrigerator system where they lost a lot of meat and dairy and produce, but they seem to have re-stocked and everything is back to normal with the fridges! Part of why I like this Aldi so much is they just installed self-checkout so you don't have to worry about waiting for a cashier. The staff is all super nice and helpful, and they do a lot of mobile orders/ pick up orders from their location. The store is newer and always very clean, definitely my go-to Aldi.

I was not familiar with Bexley Natural Market but saw from the Too Good Eats website that the market carried them so off I went exploring. Parkign lot is limited and that area of Cassady Avenue was a little busy but I was able to get in and out ok and find a spot to park. The staff interaction was ok but REALLY missed an opportunity to sell the market and what they are about. I had asked about the membership and the bland explanations really didn't say much at all and the interaction was not very inviting and kind of dismissive. I would have been happy that some new traffic came in and showed an interest. Anyway, the market offers all kinds of items from produce, vegan options, natural drinks, and grocery items. It appears the main focus is supporting local farmers and vendors in the area. I will come back and take another look around but was super happy they had the drinks I liked. If interested- I found online that the membersip is $30 one-time payment and annual dues of $45 that provides 5% to 8% off and monthly coupons & promotions valued at $100 a year in savings.
