I've driven by it for years. No idea it was there. I've stopped at the chain in the parking lot many times. This will be my last burger place for the foreseeable future. It's big, it's all fresh ingredients and condiments. The fries are the old school cooked in tallow type. Crunchy hard and fluffy inside. A very cute, old-school diner serving classic hamburgers. The burgers were exactly as advertised, GIANT, and made fresh. My favorite part were the perfectly crispy French fries. I am a pickle girlie and yesss those pickles were HUGEEE - a fun surprise. Everything was cooked right in front of us by the sweetest old chef, which made the whole experience feel homey. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 2 fries, and a large soda for $33. The pies looked amazing too, but we were way too full to try them - maybe next time! Overall, a really solid burger spot. You order and pay at the counter, then grab any open seat. They take card as well. I also liked how they had a variety of sauces, my favorite the hot mustard. I've been going to this place for years now. Always the same owner working. Cheeseburgers are the best. Fry's are good. They also have breakfast all day, my mom likes their biscuits and gravy & the chili' cheese fry's . Sorry no photos as I forgot . Just plain our live this place. Doug and Cesar are still here and the help they have (Rachel) are wonderful. Put this place on your list as a must visit. Tucked away in a strip mall this quaint diner offers a nostalgic 50's diner experience. If you are looking for fast food quick service, this is not your place. We were greeted at the counter by a nice gentleman who was humorous and friendly. Our order was served tableside and delivered hot and fresh. From the first bite to the last we enjoyed crisp iceberg lettuce, juicy tomatoes and a perfectly cooked patty. The fries were nicely seasoned. They do not have Coke Zero . My family and I have been getting pies to go here for a few years; they taste fresh and we have never been disappointed. My favorite burger, a bacon cheese burger with everything on it, Is a meal in itself and is simply the best burger I can get anywhere. It's not fancy, but it tastes great and beats out all the gourmet burgers from all the chain stores around, and I've eaten at all of them. The staff are always attentive and helpful. We got a cheeseburger, hot dog, fries, and finished it off with a slice of pie. The food is all quite good, but the fries always taste like they're using old fryer oil, so I removed half a point. I removed another half point as the interior is looking a bit beat up. Overall I think it's a great local restaurant with just a few tweaks to be made to make it even better. You should give it a try and we will be back in the future. read more

Both employees were great and super friendly, always a plus in my book. The burgers are made to order and grilled on a flat top. I went with the cheese burger and added green chilies. This burger just hit different....in a very good way...I think it was the cheese and the way it was cooked. Whatever voodoo science that was involved, I want more! Oh...and really good fries. My husband and son arrived about 10 minutes before I got here. When my husband ordered 3 people's worth of food with only 2 standing there, the waitress asked if the last person in their party was running late. I should try more things but I'm addicted to the hamburgers so it's the only thing I've tried. They do have other yummy looking stuff on their menu. Breakfast and pie too! Just moved to the neighborhood and wanted to try somewhere local-- and so glad we did! The burgers definitely live up to their name as they're very well sized while also very delicious!
