Regular Cheesesteak with provolone and Jalapeño's.
    Brennan R.

Whatta solid joint! Been back to Forefathers a few times and that statement should speak for itself. Quality and consistent with friendly staff. Now for the food, I have always ordered a regular cheesesteak, which is a very respectable size, that is to say, I do not leave hungry. I ordered mine with jalapeños on it (Pro tip: Only order with jalapeños on it if you love spicy food like me, can be a bit overbearing for softer palates. Can also just get them on the side from their mini fridge). The fries are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, (another pro tip, get yourself a few of their fry sauces from their mini fridge, goes great with the cheesesteak too!) The stand out aspect for me, beyond the solid food, is the ambiance. A very nice, modern interior that is always clean, just check out those bathroom pics! Overall, go back to your ancestral roots, cause ForeFathers is calling, a call you should definitely answer.

OMG! I love Philly cheesesteaks, and now that I have discovered this place, it has my heart! As pictured, I got my cheesesteak with provolone, but will never do this again...The real way to go is CHEESE WHIZ! I've heard it's the original way to eat a true Philly cheesesteak, but the idea grossed me out. Until, I tried my husband's order. Trust me, get the cheese whiz. The fries are delectable and so is their fry sauce! An added perk is if you order your cheesesteak with fries, they give you a fountain drink. The employees were friendly as well. If you are a cheesesteak lover like me, you have to try Forefathers!!

Overall rating: 4.5/5 Wait: 4.5/5 Arrival time: Saturday 7:30pm Food: 4.5/5 Order: Chicken cheese steak w/ fry sauce, mozzarella, jalapeno peppers, and onions Service: n/a Price: 4/5 Worth it, would come back I ordered the Chicken Cheese Steak with mozzarella, jalapeno peppers, and onions, and it was delicious. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the combination of melted mozzarella, jalapeno peppers, and onions added a nice kick to the sandwich. The portion size was generous, and the ingredients were fresh. The pricing at Forefathers Cheese Steak was reasonable considering the quality and portion size of the food. While it may not be the cheapest option in town, the taste and experience made it worth the price. Overall, I had a positive experience at Forefathers Cheese Steak Chandler. The wait time was minimal, the food was delicious, and the prices were fair. I would definitely consider coming back in the future to try their other offerings. If you're a fan of cheese steaks with a twist, this is definitely a place worth visiting.

We drove all the way from Apache Junction. Let me preface it with the fact that Phillys aren't my favorite but my husband had a hankering! It was delicious. You were able to out as much "stuff" on as you wanted. Good enough my hubby bought one for tomorrow!

I want to start this by saying I am not the biggest fan of Philly cheese steaks, but was willing to try. I ordered for pick up from their website. It was very easy to use and clearly broke down my order to check before paying. When I arrived, the staff was friendly and greeted me. It was about 12.45pm and there were not too many people inside. I was directed by the cashier to pick up my order at the end of the counter. I had ordered about an hour earlier than my pick-up time, and it seemed like they had just made it. I ordered the regular sized Philly cheese with steak and then added provolone, mushrooms, green peppers, grilled onion, and a drizzle of cheese whiz. I am not sure exactly what the cheese whiz was, but my friend recommended it. The taste was overall pretty good! It was hot when I picked it up, and the ingredients seemed fresh. I understand that prices for everything have gone up, but I still felt hungry after eating the regular sized sandwich. I wish it was a little larger for the $13 price. I was debating between the mini and regular sizes when ordering. The mini size would definitely be for a snack to hold you over between meals. I would recommend Forefathers to anyone who likes Philly cheese steaks. They offer friendly and quick service that can be convenient to those working nearby.

I've been craving a cheesesteak sandwich for a while and Forefathers is right down the road from my work. Perfect. My co-worker loves this place, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I placed my order online and it was a pretty straight forward process. I ordered a regular size cheesesteak with my favorite vegetables, extra meat and a side of fries. After checking out, the website stated that I could pick up my order at 12pm. I arrived 5 minutes early and they were frying up some fresh fries for my order while I filled my drink. The place was clean and moderately busy for lunchtime rush. I was out the door with my order at 12PM on the dot. Nice! I have to say that I was a little disappointed with the cheesesteak. I ordered it with Jalapeno Cilantro Ranch. I knew they added it because it completely saturated the paper they wrapped the cheesesteak in. Once I removed the paper, it didn't look like any of that Jalapeno Cilantro Ranch made it into the cheesesteak at all. I certainly didn't taste it. Oh well... The bread was very soggy and not much fun to hold and eat. The cheesesteak was hot and tasted decent in spite of not having any of the sauce in it. Now, for the fries... This is totally a personal preference, but if you are like me and hate battered fries with a passion, you'll want to skip the fries at Forefathers. More often than not, if a place has, what I consider to be bad fries, I'll more than likely not return unless the main items they sell are stellar and worth purchasing solo. Unfortunately, I really can't say that with this experience. So, it's a toss up as to whether I'll go back.

What an amazing place! I've eaten at the one on Priest and I've been in love with their cheesesteaks ever since they opened and I decided to try this location because I happened to be close and I was not disappointed at all. Anybody who wants a good meal needs to stop and give these guys a chance. Absolutely amazing on every level.

Green Corner- It's Tucked away in a strip mall in Chandler, this Mediterranean restaurant is all it's hyped up to be. Customer service was excellent--friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The dining area was clean and well maintained, with spotless tables and restrooms, which always makes a great first impression. We ordered two chicken shawarma plates: one with fries and hummus, and the other with salad and rice. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, the fries were crisp and well-spiced, and the hummus was smooth and delicious. We also tried the C1 combo Arabic style, which came with half chicken, half beef, and two sides. Both proteins were excellent, and the garlic sauce was a standout--we absolutely loved it. We couldn't help but notice many other customers enjoying salads, all of which looked fresh and generously topped with crisp vegetables. Portion sizes across the board were very good, leaving us satisfied with some to go. Overall, the food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back and can't wait to try more from the menu.

The kofta was great as well but would definitely come back more for their shawarmas but it's definitely the best bang for your buck I also got some baba ganoush on the side to dip my fries in but unfortunately, I thought the baba ganoush was too lemony/there was too much sumac added so it wasn't as enjoyable. Most baba ganoush I've tasted in my hometown also had a smokey flavor to it from the eggplant so it really couldn't compare.

I hadn't done my homework on what they offer, but the employees were more than gracious to go over their selections and the ingredients and toppings they have. They recommended a custom bowl and that's what I ordered. You can also order wraps and pitas. I packed my bowl with so many things I'm going to leave quite a few out due to geezer brain, but I got white rice as my base and spicy lamb + grilled chicken as my main proteins. I added red pepper hummus and harissa in my bowl, then a ton of veggies like olives, avocado, onion, cucumber, pickles, etc. I added lentils and topped it with a spicy sauce. My wife got the sweet potato base with lettuce/greens base. We also got a side of pita chips. The drink fountain has Maine Root sodas! That may be disappointing if you're a Coke or Pepsi only person, but I haven't had Maine Root in years and was super excited to get the blueberry soda again. I also sampled their root beer and it's amazing. Cava has unique craft drinks as well like a tangerine aleppo (also sampled...really good) and an assortment of limeaid/lemonades and teas. The interior was spacious enough that we could navigate around the crowds and find an open table. Mediterranean food has worked it's way as a staple across the country because of the use of numerous spices, it has an undeniable bold flavor that has become a favorite of the American diet. Here is no exception and lives up to the Mediterranean flavor profile expectations with an Americanized twist on the ingredients. I ordered on the app and found it quite user friendly, which encourages me to get food here more often with the ease of use and simple interface. You have to ability to add or omit ingredients from the menu items which makes for a very satisfying customized meal (and only have yourself to blame if it is a displeasing combination) BERLINER WRAP- meat and veg all in a flatbread wrap. There's a lot of ingredients packed in this thang, so for me, I had to use extra sauce to dip and coat it all in flavor. The problem with these wraps though, is that the paper it wrapped in was getting stuck to the bread and would have to constantly peel it off that thang and it was a mess, unless you just don't mind eating the paper for some extra fiber. MEDI BOWL- The bowl was felt healthy and hearty; an all-around good dish. The crunchy garbanzo beans were a nice element to contrast against the other textures in the bowl. Again, i liked it with more sauce, but that's just me. Everything tasted fresh and delicious and I want to try the other menu items in the future.

We even tried the desserts, and they were just as good! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We'll definitely be back!

Came for dinner with a group of friends, two who were celebrating birthdays. We had a reservation…read morefor the patio but ended up being seated inside, which ultimately turned out to be ok. Our server, Mary, was pleasant and efficient and answered questions and made a few suggestions, which was appreciated. Wife tried the Stone Sour cocktail and liked it, although she isn't a big whisky drinker. I had water and we shared the side Caesar Salad, which was very delicious. The dressing was perfect with that tang of lemon and hint of anchovy. Our friend ordered the chopped wedge, which tasted delicious. Both salads were fresh, dressed well and exactly as described on the menu. Wife had her favorite Proscuitto & Fig Pizza, which was cooked to perfection with some of those wonderful char bubbles on the crust. I had the fish and chips, which I wish I had sent back in hindsight. The fish was extremely overdone, the crust rather thick and you can tell the oil wasn't hot enough because it was also a tad greasy. This is the first time I've had this dish here and will not try it again. I'm a huge fish & chips fan and there are many other places that make this to perfection. I did mention the overdone fish to the manager and she took my plate and said she would let them know. "Them" being the cooks? Not sure...the dish also comes with cole slaw, which I didn't care for...I actually found the cabbage to be bitter and just overall not very good. The wedge fries were very good, wish they were cooked a bit more but overall the best part of the dish! I also didn't care for the tarter sauce, found it to be a tad tasteless. The wife always order her favorite prosciutto & fig and typically the flatbread but got the pizza today. She was happy! Everyone else who ordered also said their food was "good"...but we agreed nothing to cheer about. Overall an ok experience today. The fun ending with Mary bringing Happy Birthday desserts to the two people celebrating was a great and sweet gesture. She brought enough spoons for sharing. We were headed elsewhere for dessert so I didn't try any of it.
