I wouldn't recommend going here to anyone, friends, family; even my worst enemy. I would tell anyone and everyone to avoid this business. I bought a brand new 2022 trailer back in august, it's now mid October. Multiple items from the due bill have still not been resolved or repaired, the front door doesn't lock, there are multiple water leaks, the valence(window covering, curtain, wood framing) all of it ripped off the wall completely within 2 hours of leaving the dealership, just from driving from the dealership to a diesel station. The slide out has had multiple pieces of weather stripping rip completely off, from having the slide out extend ONE time. The window casements have a 1/4 inch gap between the window framing and the wall. The service department will play constant games with you, you can call and leave messages and they'll claim they never got them; even with call records on my end to prove it, and email records, and text records. Basically IF you decide to go here, keep meticulous records of all your interactions with them. It might just save your ass. Judy, the wicked Karen of the west. Will blatantly lie on paperwork, give you the run around, ghost call you, and just generally make your experience miserable. One of their technicians, pretty sure his name is mark(ginger haired guy) got into an argument about the fact that the fridge needed replacement. Started belittling me and my fiancé. I work in HVAC, when a fridge has had the same part replaced THREE times. And that part still breaks on first use, the unit needs to be replaced, not insulting the customer and telling them that it's fine and stuff just breaks and it's normal to not have a working fridge in a brand new $60k trailer. It has been months, still waiting on the service department to get back to me and even start ordering the parts/looking at what is broken/they never bothered to repair. read more

Buyer Beware: We're admittedly new to the RV world and ended up purchasing a brand new 2020 Minnie Winnie as we have a 10 month old and were nostalgic about the RV trips we took with our grandparents when we were children. Our Salesperson, Ben Brady, was incredibly friendly and helpful and said we could call him anytime we had an issue. He knew that we were looking to take it out right away and we picked it up the next week to go on a planned family camping trip. After one night, we noticed the fridge wasn't getting cold. Long story short, the fridge was not working. When we decided to come back home as we couldn't make the babies formula in advance and couldn't stock the fridge, one of the two levelers wouldn't retract all the way and after attempting to troubleshoot with both Ben and the service department at Giant RV, we decided to drive home, and had to listen to the leveler alarm the entire 9 hour ride home. Although an exception was made and we were able to bring in our RV pretty quickly, it sat in service for nearly two months. All we were told was that the fridge was backordered and the manufacturer would not give an ETA. Because of this we were unable to schedule any other trips this summer. So, to recap, we picked up our brand new RV from Giant RV on July 22nd, dropped it off for service about a week later, and just picked it up this past Thursday, September 24th. They had it for almost 2 months. The refrigerator needed to be replaced, even though it was brand new, and a fuse needed to be changed out for the leveler. Look, we understand that these things happen, but after repeated attempts to have someone in management just acknowledge and maybe even apologize that this happened, we were met with complete silence. Paul in service was great with keeping us informed and in the loop but Doug Baker, who was referred to us by our Salesperson Ben, would send me one line emails as updates and completely ignored my request to have someone in management acknowledge this situation. He even mentioned in an email that he was going to get the "higher-ups" involved. When I followed up on that, he just ignored my email. At this point, due to how this situation was handled, we were made to feel as though once the sale was completed, Giant RV didn't care about us or any issues we had with our purchase. I even mentioned in an email to Doug that I would like to have a good relationship with Giant RV and tried to be understanding. We were basically making payments on a brand new RV, that we couldn't use for 2 months, and were made to feel like that's just business as usual for Giant RV. As someone also in sales, I know that it's not fun to have any issues once the sale is completed, but your ability, as a company, to handle that situation is going to make that customer either feel good about their purchase, or they'll feel as though they're just a number on a spreadsheet. Unfortunately, I was made to feel like the the latter and I felt it was my duty to inform any other potential customers to ensure that everything is in working order before you drive your RV off the lot because once you leave, you are definitely not a priority and they seemingly could care less about customer service. read more

Okay, one day after I filed a complaint with BBB, I finally got a call from Ron, Giant RV finance. To me, it felt like they only responded after an official complaint with BBB. Yes, I finally get them to schedule the service they sold me but only after much unnecessary hassle. Since I called multiple times and spoke/left messages to multiple people, it does not appear to be an isolated problem from one individual. It feels like this is how they do their business. A update to my review, as I said before in a prior post I had mentioned a few negative things from sales and the shortcomings I believe the manager and his sales team did. Since then I took my coach in for all the recalls and a few items to fix and I must say service did a great job ! Paul the service manager was very communicative with me and saw that my coach was well taken care of . Billy in service did a wonderful job as usual , there are still a couple lingering issues with the repairs however, they are going above and beyond to see that the issues are corrected. If sales were like the service department and kept to their word and just didn't try to make a sale and forget about you , this place would rock. I also must add that 4-5 of my friends have bought from this location and have had the same issues but, service steps up and makes it better . I am very disappointed at Giant RV. We were going to get our toy hauler here and had a contract made up already. I was waiting to hear from the finance guy as to see what the banks would say. When I called the next day to speak to the financing man, I had left a message for him to call me back. Hours later I called again to follow up and the VERY RUDE receptionist, LIZ, kept transferring me straight to the finance guy's number without even saying hello because I'm assuming they have caller ID. I actually was calling repeatedly to ask LIZ if he was even in and if he wasn't I would just call back the next day. I then called the main line and I asked LIZ if he was in and LIZ said to me very rudely, "Yes he is!!! He is either there with a customer or he is on the phone. So do you want his line again?" And without answering her, LIZ transfers me. I call back again! At this point I was very irritated and shocked that someone who answers phones all day long and knows I am a potential customer would act this way towards me. I asked LIZ why she keeps transferring me without my permission and why she is being rude. LIZ said "I'm just putting calls on hold." I have no idea what putting calls on hold has to do with being rude to your customers?? I called again to want to talk to manager and LIZ transfers me straight to the finance guy who answers. The finance guy gives me bad news and the interest rate goes up 1% from what was originally given, which I understand that is not up to them but up to the bank. So I told him that I would need to talk to my husband since it would end up being more. Also I asked him if the manager could call me back so I could discuss their rude receptionist, LIZ. The manager calls me back and I explained to him what happened and he said he would look in to it. I talk to my husband and told him about the increase in 1% rate and I also told him about the rude receptionist, LIZ. We decided that we do not want to do business with anyone that treats us like this whether it be a salesperson, receptionist or service person. I called to cancel the sale. The manager never followed up about the bad behavior of LIZ. Our salesman never even called and said anything like "I'm sorry that the deal didn't go through, maybe we could find something else for you." Nothing. The way I see it is if they didn't make a sale, you are nothing to them. read more

Just got our RV/Van back home from service where Paul Nunez the service manager at Giant RV Montclair, CA. fixed all of the things and had our coach cleaned and went FAR and BEYOND to get everything fixed that was wrong when we bought this very expensive life dream! He treated us like we should've been treated in the first place! One part wasn't in yet and so he even offered us incentive to drive back (1.5 hours from home) and they will take care of us and install it when it comes in! We had a long repair list so it was all warranty work and we didn't pay a dime! Mind you we didn't even buy from this location! We bought from Giant RV Murrieta and we've had the run around and no help from anyone there where Paul at the Montclair location said bring it here and we will take care of YOU! Now that's glowing customer service! I plan on upgrading when the new model with the new Dodge chassis comes out probably in late 2023/2024 and I am going to this Montclair location to buy our next upgraded adventure! This is my second review for the Montclair Location. This review ties all the reviews that I have done together in regards to my purchases. My husband and I were in the market for a Trailer and we had originally went to the Pomona RV winter show. This is the location that we met Sultan our sales representative. When we were finished with the sales part of our purchase and we had came to a decision on our trailer we were directed to finance. We were introduced to our finance specialist by the name of Julio Sanchez. (I may or may not have the correct location, nevertheless this review is for him) It was fairly late in the evening and we had been at the Pomona location for quite some time. Julio was very accommodating. I had small children with me, fussy, hungry and ready to leave at this point. Julio, gathered chairs for me and my family, grabbed all of us water and tried to get us settled before we got into the finance process. Very patient and willing to take the time to help us, Julio new that we were kind of pressed for time. We had a prior engagement that we had already pushed back a few hours. Julio was very accommodating of that. He knew this was a last minute purchase and he was willing to work with us and expedite this process. The entire finance process did not happen that night. It actually took a couple of weeks. But through the entire process, after weeks of phonecalls and emails, Julio stuck with us the ENTIRE process. Not only did he help us with our finance part, he pretty much made the entire process happen through a credit union. This was never part of our plans because we were going to just try and finance everything on our own. However, Julio connected us with a few key people and we got things done! Quick and efficient. In reality, none of this could be possible without Julio's help. We were kind of coming into this blind. We are first time buyers and we weren't exactly familiar with the process. Without his help, we may not have proceeded with this process. everything worked out for the best. We have a new truck and a new trailer. Julio made all of this happen for us. we are beyond thankful for all the hard work and effort that was put into these purchases. This is something that we know Julio did not have to do. He could have very well quit while he was ahead. But he didn't. He had faith In us and he continued to push. Push for more time and re assessing our options. Looking for the best option for us. We appreciate the time and hard work that went into all of this. From beginning to end, he was there with us all of the way. Julio, your professionalism, dedication and compassion throughout this process is undeniable . Finance representatives as good as you are few and far between. You're like the diamond in the rough! You made things possible when they seemed impossible. All of our hesitation and back and forth, we weren't even sure if it was going to happen. So many times we tried to throw in the towel. In one word... DON'T. Don't bring your RV here to be repaired. As others have said it takes MONTHS!! I want to be a technician here because they have better than banker's hours. I guess that's why it takes so freakin long to get your RV repaired. Items that were supposed to be fixed (i.e. safety brake cable) that was written down for repair several times has never been replaced As for charges - double check. They tried to charge us for a diagnostic that we told them about! Before leaving the lot do a walk around. They damaged our RV and we didn't catch it until we pulled it home. Remove any parts that can be removed. If you come in with two of something you may leave with only one. The good in my review is the service person gave me a new part that was missing. Seriously, the only positive in the place. Shop around - they are not the only RV repair shop in Southern Calif Update: regarding the hitch. I'm not complaining about the rust. Look closely at how the chain is on the hitch. We were waiting for one of the few tech that was working to come out with a hammer. We found something in our RV to hit it chain off the hitch so we could get out of there. Stay away from this place. On memorial weekend i came to buy a RV camper trailer. at first everything was fine, I received a price and signed and paid a down payment I was scheduled for 1pm on Saturday to pick it up and got there on time they made me wait till 3:15pm and the camper was not ready they literary just started preparing it. In the process they increase my price and claimed that some extras that was requested not entered into the financed invoice which was not true I had a copy of the work order stating it was included. On top of it I caught them cheating or mistaken charging me extra taxes beyond the tax rate which suppose to be 9.5% they charged me with 10.75% also their sales rep promised so many things that they never delivered till today it almost a month pass like the privacy curtains and accessories. The trail can with some minor defects and handling damages that was promised to me to be fixed / touched up prior to my pick up time but didn't happen. In addition I called several times to different people in their office with questions and concerns left several messages they never called me back. Poor customer service! My recommendation is if you look for an RV find some more trustable reliable dealership then Giant RV read more

We purchased a used Travel Trailer from Giant RV. We had a great experience. First, Joe, our salesman was fantastic. He listened to our list of must haves, and took us directly to an RV that he thought would be a perfect fit. He showed us how everything worked and pointed out all the features. He then left us alone for a bit, so we could discuss between ourselves if we wanted to buy it or not. We were able to come up with a good price and were very happy with our experience. No high pressure at all. On the day we had our walk through, Jason explained how everything worked, got us two remotes for the two TV's, which were missing, replaced an expired propane tank, and found the missing BBQ that attaches to the outside of the RV. He went above and beyond. He was also very personable and made sure all our questions were answered and we were happy with everything. If this dealership was dishonest, Jason would not have found the remotes and BBQ and would have let us drive off with an expired propane tank. We got an amazing deal on an RV here. Glenn helped us out with the sales process and was super nice. There was a big RV expo happening so most of the staff was gone when we visited, this made the RV shopping experience very relaxed. They allowed us to go checkout the RVs by ourselves at our own pace. When we were ready to buy, they were very easy to negotiate with. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly. Mark walked us through our RV and was able to answer all of our questions-- very knowledgable and a breeze to work with. So why 4 stars instead of 5? There were a few hiccups. When we arrived to pickup it took a very long time to finish everything, we got there at noon and left after 5pm. They did mention that they were short staffed (someone called out sick) and had a lot of deals from the RV expo to handle, but it still seems like they weren't super organized. We also tried contacting the financing department 4 times (3 phone, one email) before we arrived to ask a question, but never received a call back. We needed to put our RV in storage and so delivery driver reservations were supposed to have been arranged but they weren't when we arrived for pickup. Beware, I took my trailer in for 3 warranty items and low and behold, I leave with only 1 fixed and a bill for almost $1500. First, I had an issue with the jack which they agreed needed to be replaced, but I also had an issue with the DVD player and speaker. I was told the speaker issue was loose metal in the speaker hole from the build and the DVD player was not covered under warranty. I was asked about packing the bearings and against my best judgement, I agreed. I was later called and told that the seals were bad and the backing plates had to be replaced. This is concerning since the trailer is only 3 years old and has less than 5000 miles on it so either they lied or they are saying that the Forest River trailers are built poorly. I was also told that the seals on the top and side of the trailer were going bad and had to be scraped and replaced. I would suggest finding a good place to take your trailer that will not try and upsell everything. Oh, I checked my warranty that Giant RV sold me and it was checked that the electronics were covered. I also confirmed I paid Giant RV for a sealant to ensure the outside of the trailer would not have issues for 5 years. So either that does not work or they did not need to be replaced. In any way, I can't trust a company that does not know what they sold to their customer or wants to try and take money from a customer that had already dropped a ton on a rig they purchased from them. 2018 Forest River EVO T2700 read more

After a little over a year with our 31' Class C my wife and I decided to upgrade to a 36' Class A. We began the search in January, we shopped online and at locations, but were undecided on which model and what price range. Once we finalized what we wanted, found it in stock at other dealers we started the deal process. Three different dealers offered us significantly less for our trade, would not work with us on list price, and to be honest, did not have the type of follow through you would expect for this type of purchase. We had them transfer a coach from Colton for us to look at, but found another on the lot in a higher price range that we liked just a bit more.
