The coffee was hot and standard diner coffee, I opted to order the Irish Benedict for something indulgent. It hit all the spots. I love a canned hash fried up crispy, the English muffin was crisp underneath, the egg was perfectly done and not too runny, the hollandaise was alright, but the home fried potatoes were my favorite part. All made better with some hot sauce. It's a diner and it's there and fresh when you need it. No complaints!

So we went around to the takeout window, which is NOT handicap accessible (steps only, no ramp), and stand on line to finally learn that the dinner would not be ready for at least 25 minutes (this was at 5:30 PM, not exactly an off hour for dinner service). Did they honestly expect my disabled husband to stand in the blazing summer sun for half an hour? (There were no seats available by the window). I knocked on the door of the dining room hoping we could at least sit down to wait, but they didn't even answer. We left, we will NEVER return, and I will make sure to tell everyone I know in this little town to stay away unless you actually want to be treated badly. I don't care if your food is cordon-bleu, no business should treat their customers with such disregard. I guess they think that, since they are the only restaurant in town that isn't a bar, it's okay to be rude and unaccommodating. We drove to Cobleskill and had a lovely meal at the Cowboy Taquieria on Main Street.
