I'm sooo thankful for Gigantic Moving & Storage. Kelly was great scheduling my reservation and luckily was able to fit my move into their busy June schedule. The moving team was phenomenal. DJ and Ollie did an incredible job moving me into my new apartment! Initially, I was a bit concerned when they pulled up in a 15' truck and then when they saw all my things, they mentioned they may need to take 2 trips. When I made my reservation Kelly and I had discussed a fairly extensive list of my large furniture items w/ dimensions and that'd I'd have about 30 to 40 boxes, so I was initially confused on why they wouldn't of sent a larger truck, until the guys explained that they'd been provided with a general list of items too, but that the smaller truck was the truck they'd been assigned b/c the larger trucks had been booked for their bigger jobs that day. I'd made my reservation just the week before and probably got the last available truck, so I didn't stress about it too much, just thought if this information was available at the time I made my reservation it would have been nice to know as potentially the smaller truck could have caused multiple trips and a more expensive move. Thankfully, this duo knew what they were doing and with their tetris skills made all my things fit with even a little room to spare. They were fast and careful with my things, wrapping up all my furniture and tv so it was protected and wouldn't get damaged. I usually have no interest in going out of my way to write a review of anything. But I have to do it in this instance. We had to pack a 40 foot shipping container for our move out of the country. Our current movers cancelled on us and we had to find new ones. Got on the phone and called Gigantic Moving. They were able to get people over the exact time we needed them, the receptionist was very nice and answered all of my questions. Jose, Carlos, and Mike arrived and were immediately ready to go! Being that they were packing a cargo container I figured it would throw off these movers a little but nope! They still knew exactly what they were doing! They took out all of our boxes and furniture, was extremely fast and efficient at loading and packing and wrapping all of our items and I can only explain it as "expertly" packing our items into the container. Throughout the entire packing process they were extremely helpful, talkative, and were extremely nice and jovial. Even after nearly 8 hours of packing! They all even helped us load our 2 motorcycles into the container by doing a series of loading and unloading from one truck to the container, and even helped us do a little work when there was trouble finding the case to disconnect one of the batteries on the motorcycle and helped with their tools to get the job done. It really amazing how good these guys were. Professional, knowledgeable, and going out of their way to help us pack our items. Definitely the best moving experience I ever had. read more

A fantastic moving experience with Gigantic Moving Company. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and use them again for any type of move. I recieved a phone call right at 9 AM to say they would arrive by 9:45 AM. Juan, Guilo, and Andre arrived in good time. They asked for a walk around on what to pack and what to not pack and started instantly loading up the truck. I was amazed at their thoroughness in safely packing/wrapping items that needed to be more secure. They were incredibly quick and efficient in making our move as smooth as possible. I also really appreciated that they checked throughout the move what was going and what was staying. They also were great at consulting with me on the layout of my new place, and thoughtfully decided what needed to be taken apart in order to maneuver items into the new space. I was moving from an apartment that was 1000 square feet and everything was loaded into the truck in an hour. At my new place, there were 2 flights of stairs that only took about 2 hours for everyone to get things up. All three of our movers were great, friendly and highly motivated. They made quick work of our apartment. Moves in the past have been quite nerve racking for me, but this move with Gigantic Moving was stress-free! Highly recommend Gigantic Moving! read more

I needed movers within a week to move across Tacoma - everyone else I'd contacted either had insane rates, or flat out weren't available for a short move on the weekend. When I found Gigantic on Google, I was pleased to see it seemed like they had positive reviews - and once they arrived, I found out why. Jesus called to give me an ETA, and they were right on time. They were kind, efficient, and ensured that all of my furniture was properly wrapped and secured for the move. Once we got to my new location, they confirmed the condition of my furniture (I had a piece that was broken and scratched before we'd moved), the placement, and I cannot overstate how QUICKLY these two packed and unloaded everything! It was a matter of just over 2 hours for my ~800 square foot apartment, with lots of large, heavy pieces. It made a huge difference in my time crunch for moving out of my old place. Additionally, Jesus gave me a tip about a coupon on Yelp for their services, which I really appreciated. I will definitely call here again for my next move! read more

Just finished my move with Shawn, Thomas, Landon and Maurice from Gigantic Moving. I have used several moving companies before and I can say this crew and Gigantic Moving outshines the rest. The foreman and foreman-in-training directed the crew exactly to what we wanted moved and how it was to be arranged in our new home, all while managing to lift heavy loads at the same time. I was impressed with their skills and, more importantly, their care with our stuff. It really felt as if they were treating my stuff like it was theirs. These guys had to move 2 big bedrooms and a living room full of stuff from the third floor of my old place. Then at the new place, the parking lot was a good 50+ yards from the ground floor entry of my new place. They made sure all of my delicate and fragile furniture, TV, frames, etc., were wrapped tightly and securely. I can't recommend Gigantic Moving enough. I know I'll have to move again in the near future and I know, without a doubt, I'll be using Gigantic again. read more

The best price for sure-trust me, I called around. I loved that their driving fee for local moving was a flat $50 whereas other places wanted to start charging by the hour as soon as they left their center. I also bought a coupon from Yelp which saved me $30 extra dollars! They were on time with their two hour waiting window. The two young men were extremely accommodating to my requests (as silly as some of them may have been). They were able to complete my move from one apartment to the next within an hour which was great! Since I live in a little apartment, the fact that their moving minimums started at 1 hour on a weekday worked great! Lots of places requested 3+ hours which I just didn't need. My mom was there during moving day and already plans to use them for her move as well. Highly recommended! read more

Started with a great email, then follow up phone call to make sure their estimate included everything for my across the neighborhood move. Great customer service on the phone. Day of the move, got a call from lead guy, Juan, when he was underway, with an ETA, and they showed up within 2 minutes of ETA! All three guys were just fantastic, carefully protected my floors in both old and new place, wrapped all the furniture in blankets, just really were very careful without wasting any time. I was super happy with the whole process. At the end, Juan totaled up the time, made the charges clear and they were pretty much spot on what the phone call estimate was. Gigantic Moving & Storage was a pleasure to work with. Matt and Ollie called and showed up 15 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive - so punctual! Between the two of them, they moved all of our furniture and boxes from our apartment to our house within 4 hours INCLUDING drive time (and we had a flight of stairs (no elevator) from our apartment). The driveway at our new home is narrow and off a busy street - I had no idea how they were going to fit the truck but they were able to back it in on their first try! I had a last minute move and gigantic movers were the only people who could squeeze me in. The lady that helped me on the phone was wonderful. So thankful for that. Rates were the most reasonable of all the companies I called. My two movers were very quick...they never stopped for a second! They took better care of my stuff than I did while packing! They had tape to secure my belongings...stuff I never even thought of securing. I moved my stuff into a temporary garage storage and they did a great job at making everything fit nice and neat. Had a great experience with Gigantic, from scheduling with Noelle to move in! Jose, Jorge and Johnny packed up my Pilates studio, put it in storage for a week, and moved it into my home a week later. They placed things exactly where I wanted them (even when I changed my mind several times). They put excess stuff back on the truck and moved it into my storage unit. Jose was able to easily break down items that were too large to move through a door, including a PRECOR ellptical trainer, and a large reception desk. As a team and as individuals Jose, Jorge and Johnny were always pleasant, professional, and extremely efficient. Thank you Gigantic! read more

We had Gigantic move us out of our house in February of 2017 into a UHaul unit. MATT, OLLIE, & MOSES worked extremely fast, considering all the stuff we had to move out. They sincerely listened to us and were really professional and nice to work with. This move went so well that we had Gigantic move us back into our new house and I requested the same guys. Again, Matt & Ollie along with a new guy, Scott, were super fast, professional and understanding to our requests. These guys are awesome. This is the2nd time we've moved with Gigantic. They've been very accurate with quotes, and the movers paid attention to the job and were professional. Today we had Tommy, Cody & DaWit: Tommy and Cody were super knowledgeable, very professional, and kind. DaWit had a heck of a first day :). I think we set the record for shortest distance of a move, and these guys didn't complain one bit. We have and we will continue to recommended Gigantic. I had a really great experience with Gigantic Moving, they made my move easy, from the start to the delivery. I worked with a very professional but friendly salesperson, who made sure I understood all the contract terms and costs and answered all my questions quickly. The crew showed up exactly on time, packed up some things that I didn't have good packing materials for, and even moved the most awkward and difficult couch down my stairwell. AMAZING!! Matt, Richard and Stephan came to my house to move some big and awkward office furniture to my new office. My office is in a very difficult location and I thought it would be impossible to get the furniture in. These guys showed up, took charge and handled everything without a bump or scratch anywhere. They even went as far as to arrange everything nicely for me after they moved it in. I have used many different moving companies in the past as I have moved back and forth from Hawaii multiple times. Setting up an appointment was easy. The movers arrived on schedule and were friendly. They were also very careful with my belongings. I didn't have anything too big or awkward, and I'd managed to move a lot of small stuff on my own, but Gigantic moved my beds, bookshelves, and various other furnishings, as well as a couple dozen boxes. They followed me to my new home and offloaded everything without incident. They even helped reassemble my bedframes, which was not expected but greatly appreciated. All in all, well done. Just recently moved between two downtown buildings which can be challenging. We had special instructions regarding staging and building access. DJ and Mo were my movers and they did a great job. Heads down, all business no complaints. Given the building rules, they certainly could have. In addition, parking was challenging but DJ just got it done. Used them to move a 2 bedroom + storage unit (4'x5') a distance of 6 miles (20 minutes). I was quoted around 6 hours. I was packed before they got here except for the master bedroom which needed the wardrobe boxes they LOAN for FREE. There was a truck confusion and thus the boxes weren't there when they arrived. The leader called his manager who delivered the boxes in ~45 minutes. We were done in ~4 hours. Super friendly, polite and efficient. I would definitely use them again and would recommend to friends. read more
