The crust on both were rich and delicious and the filling was perfectly sweet. The atmosphere of the coffee shop was welcoming with lots of available seating. My friends ordered the cranberry scone and a cheese danish which they enjoyed as well. Service was fast and our orders were accurate.

Many customers before us got their food, we were incredibly kind and patient and didn't cause a scene, but the next person might not be so kind. Also P.S. - incredibly disrespectful for the cashier to be on her phone for the first 3 minuets before speaking to us while there was an active rush; can't tell if she was stressed or too stoned to be on the clock. Very disappointed because this was a cute little coffee shop. Best of luck to them, but will definitely not be back after this.

I ordered an apple pie for Thanksgiving and it was delicious with very fresh apples and a crumb top. I also get my bread there, a cinnamon raison and a multigrain. Grandma doesn't make the bread but it is homemade from someone else and it's much better than the Weis bakery.

I had seen him and his wife/partner earlier as his Slash-esque headwear was hard to miss, and they seemed very sweet together - turns out they live in the area and she is the owner of Be Kind Bake House. He was wearing a shirt that said "Be Kind," and clearly they live up to that ethos! I'm writing this review because those chocolate chip cookies and cheddar twists are delectable, and I could not stop eating them! I'm not usually a sweets person, but I devoured those cookies. They make everything from scratch and create custom cakes too. Be sure to check out their shop if you're in Honesdale PA, or find them at local farmers' markets.

From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by the incredible assortment of fresh, homemade breads, cookies, cakes, and more. Everything is beautifully made with obvious care and craftsmanship. The atmosphere at the bakery is warm and welcoming, and you can immediately tell that this is a place built on pride, tradition, and a true love for baking. Every item we tried was absolutely delicious, and the quality is second to none. It's rare these days to find a place where you feel like you've stepped into something truly special -- and Beach Lake Bakery is exactly that.
