Gigi's Pizzeria & Restaurant is located in the corner, across from CVS and BP gas station with its own parking lot. Not sure what to have for dinner, I ended up searching on my Yelp app and came across this restaurant. After looking the menu online, I ended up ordering the following over the phone: Chicken Marsala, $16- My husband decided to order this dish. He was asked if he would like the spaghetti cooked in the same sauce as the chicken or with marinara. My husband opted for the marsala sauce. This entrée was very flavorful and that marsala sauce was really good and savory. I also liked that there were mushrooms in the sauce. But it was a little salty though. There was plenty of chicken in this order and the portion of this dish was perfect for 2 to share. Grilled Chicken Salad $10- I really wanted a green salad and so I ordered this. This was definitely good for the price and there was plenty of chicken. I had asked if I could have my dressing on the side but was told they automatically pack it like that. The dressing was Italian, which was pretty standard. This was also a good size to share. Minestrone, $6- It being a cold evening, we got a bowl of soup. It was still nice and warm when we got back to our hotel room to eat. I liked the flavors of the tomato and the pasta in this soup. I also liked the beans as well. Complementary roll- I am not too sure which dish this roll came with but it was nice to have some warm bread. ------------------------ (Total= $32) Please note that although they do take credit card, you have to pay a fee if used. IT is $0.50 for transaction fee on $5-12.50 and 3.99% on transactions over that so you might as well pay with cash like we did. My husband went inside after he parked (while I waited in the car). For whatever reason, he was told that his order wasn't ready, even though we were told it would be ready in 40 minutes after I made my phone order. We arrived 30 minutes later. Anyways the employee who told him this was mopping the floor. My husband saw a cardboard box that had a food order in it and just had a feeling it was ours. So my husband just sat and waited. About 10 minutes later, the guy finishes mopping the floor and then gives my husband the box of food. Nothing was added within those 10 minutes of my husband waiting and so I don't know why the employee didn't just stop mopping and give him our order. To me that just seems unnecessary to have a customer wait, which is why I am taking 1 star away from my overall review. Parking lot is super small, so you might need to find another lot. Small location but there are like 6 tables. The pizza is very good. Crispy thin crust, and flavorful tomato sauce. The guys behind the counter are the reason for the lower review. They were babbling in Spanish for 3 minutes before finally deciding I was worth helping. When the did they finally acknowledged me they were very cold and standoffish. It's a shame because they have good pizza, other places have good pizza too and provide better service. If I wanted to pay money to get treated poorly I'll fly on United Airlines instead. read more

Bake ziti was not as good as the previous owner's! Sauce was bitter. They added way too much cheese to hide the bitter taste!

I grew up down the street, way back in the 80s, and my family used to get pizza here at least once a month. This was my entire childhood, and back then they made pizzas, occasionally meatball subs, and not much else. Their pizza was rock solid, classic NY style, and it was great, quite literally for decades. After college I moved away, and only visited Yonkers a few times a year to see family. I'd always stop in for a slice, or sometimes get a whole pie to bring home. It wasn't always quite up to my childhood memories, but was still pretty good, and honestly the best pizza within a 20 minute drive. Something fundamentally changed in the past 5-10 years, and quality gradually went down, as the size of their menu exploded, with all kinds of weird stuff (why are are they selling burgers??). I suspect the original family that owned the place sold it to some new owner, who decided it was more cost effective to focus on quantity than quality. My previous visit was a couple years ago (before the pandemic), when it wasn't great but still good enough. Regardless, the pizza is now mediocre garbage. I ordered a whole pie a few weeks ago, and it was terrible. No fresh ingredients (soggy, water logged mushrooms are a dead give away), gummy dough, and flavorless sauce. Its not NY style, its generic frozen style pizza that you can get at Dominoes or any other huge pizza chain. Except they're charging insane prices as if they're making a high quality product. And the final insult is the credit card service fee that they charge as if this is some developing country where a few cents on a transaction is going to put them out of business. Its a pity that they lost a life long customer. Never again. read more

The food is amazing. Me and my friends come here all the time. They have everything from breakfast,lunch, dinner and even ice cream for desert. The food is worth the price. Smh! What a disappointment! And this restaurant came highly recommended by a colleague! Ordered lasagna, sautéed spinach and eggplant parmigiana. I didn't think they could mess up lasagna but they did. I opened the container and it looked like a pond. No layers at all. I'm not exaggerating ... I mean for noodles stuck to each other . the meat and cheese on the other side of the container and just a puddle of watery sauce. The eggplant was sliced waaaay tooo thin. And was mushy. I live in Connecticut but anytime I'm heading to NY I have to stop at Gigi's. I don't even know where to begin. The baked clams are by far one of my favorites and a must before I have a slice. The slices are bigger than my body and absolutely delicious. Don't be fooled by the fact that it's a pizzeria because their entrees are just as amazing. The Chicken Francese might be one of the best I've ever had. I've also had other great entrees at Gigi's that have never let me down. Dominick and his staff provide a great service. I'm drooling just writing this now. My favorites: Baked Clams (a must), Chicken Francese, any of their Pizzas and of course the Gigi Rolls! read more

The best pizza in westchester! Been going here since I was a kid. Knew the original owner before he retired. The owner now still does it the same way and the pizza is amazing! They make new specialty pizza everyday so you now you're in for a treat when you go. A GiGi roll is still $5 and still tastes great. They now have ice cream which is cool. So I am an African American woman walked into this establishment like I have for many years and I never face this humiliation. The restaurant is 30 minutes to close he has a few slices on display. I asked if there's any more plain slices for the night he tells me no. Welcome to joint city in Yonkers, NY. This place is truly a gem especially for the big slices and the Sicilian pizza. The parking is not good at all and the out side looks like a pizza joint from the Bronx, but don't let this fool you. The inside is a small, but has enough tables for lunch service. They have a great selection of drinks (non-alcoholic obviously) and pizza. Their pizza is always made fresh and you will always see a lot of people ordering pizza to go. The Sicilian is definitely one of the best in NY since the crispness and the flavor is irresistible. The reason behind this is that they keep it simple. Every pizza you will find here is mostly simple pizza which makes a flavorful one. It is conveniently located by a shopping center and a bowling alley in Yonkers. For some reason I can't respond back to the owner who said I picked up my order late, my husband actually called and stated could we pick it up earlier and they said no because it's wasn't ready that pick up was at 1:00 pm. Let me start by saying that I grew up on Gigi's pizza, so this actually sucks that I have to write this review. The guys were always cool to me but I have lost all respect for this pizzeria. Not only once, but twice, I have found ROACHES IN MY PIZZA!!! The first time I was sitting in the pizzeria, and there was a roach cooked into my "Rustica Slice" and when I brought the pizza back to the counter, the guy offered me another slice from the same pie (no thank you). The second time (I decided to give them another chance) I ordered a pie to go. AGAIN, THERE WAS ANOTHER ROACH IN MY PIZZA!!! I told my family that we can no longer order from Gigi's anymore because they have roaches. My sister had some family over and decided that she would try one more time but she was going to order over the phone. She mentioned the roaches that we had found and to her, and my surprise, the guy on the phone responded very disrespectfully and even hung the phone up. His name is Chris. My sister and my cousin went to the pizzeria to speak to the owner, Dominick, and again to their surprise, they were treated very rudely and they were even kicked out of the restaurant. I posted my picture and my name on this app so that they could see exactly who I am because I know they will recognize me. I've always gone there but I will never go back. My family has always been great customers to that restaurant but not anymore. If you go in to eat at this dump, please make sure to check your slices and hopefully they treat you better then they treated my family. read more

I've never had any of their entrees, but I can speak on their pizza. Soooo good. The staff is always super helpful and friendly. I usually get either a chicken bacon ranch or a chicken and broccoli slice. Always really good and they make your order fast. Jamaican beef patties and Italian ices are also really good. Only downside is the parking lot is really small, but you can always park in the Key Foods lot and walk over. ;) read more

Not sure why I've never written a review of this place, have been coming here for 10+ years, as it's right near my wife's parent's house. Pizza here is top notch, usually don't get too adventurous, but the specialty slices and chicken parm dinner are good as well. The plain slice is one of the best I've had. Garlic knots are also awesome, though they do take a while as they bake them fresh. Service is friendly and "Mr Gigi" (no idea if that's his name) always has a smile on his face. read more

Feb.17,2019 Went to Gigi's this afternoon abt 3pm, such a disappointment. I ordered slice with fresh tomato and mushrooms, what i got was a doughy white slice underbaked dough with canned mushrooms. I immediately returned to counterman,explaining raw dough,he said do u want another slice, i looked and all pies had undercooked dough. Shame on you, He did not know what a baked crust should be or look like. You cannot not be in pizza business with cooks like this.Next my husband ordered pasta faglioli,soup which was a white salty watery soup with lots of left over different pasta from other meals and a few beans. No tomato sauce in soup.shame on you again. I will not return until makes changes. Years ago you were so much better,even as recent as last year. Small pizza place in a tiny mini mall that has really good pies. The pizza was very good here. My buddy introduced me to it as it was a couple of blocks from his place. We got a large pie and stayed to eat. The pizza was delicious, cheese was nice and salty and the crust was thin and a bit crispy.
