I really need to buy me a whole pie of their Bacon pizza in order to kill my desire to stop and buy a slice every time I drive by the store. Their slices were incredible, very very exquisite, mouthwatering. I loved how they don't leave a space empty, without your topic. We were pretty shocked because the slices were not greasy whatsoever. We ate the slices outside of the laundromat and when we were done a napkin was more than enough to clean our hands. I am definitely desiring to come back and buy me a whole pie!!!! Best pizzeria around that serves delicious entrees and family meals! I highly recommend the "Chicken Francese" dinner. We order this quite often and it's so flavorful. The meal bring pasta, fresh bread, salad and feeds 2-3 adults for around $21. The quality and flavors are always consistently good and fresh. As far as pizza pies, the Margherita pie is our go-to. Can't say enough about these guys. We typically walk in so we can actually say hello and talk to the guys behind the counter, friendlier than anything and give you a real neighborhood feel to picking up some food. Pizza is delish but I highly recommend a bunch of other stuff on the menu as well. The hot dog rolls...unbeatable. Amazing Caprese, and I'm a big fan of the potato croquettes. Very tasty pizza for a neighborhood-type joint. I come here because they have parking out front and a lot on the side, but otherwise it's your standard NYC-type pizza place. Precooked options such as plain, veggie and meat topped slices are available to be reheated, or you can order from the menu. Ample selection of cold drinks are also available in a display cooler. I haven't tried the entrees yet but the grinders and pizzas I've gotten so far have been tasty. I'm not a huge fan of the sliced sausage; it just looks weird to me visually. But anyway, I'm glad to have this option if I can't get to my #1 spot back in CT. read more

Stopped by this place for something to eat and was in the mood for a salad. Was recommended the TERRY SALAD and it was delicious. The carmelized walnuts and grilled chicken fresh mozzarella are some of the yummy things in this salad. I have had the pizza on other occasions and it's good. I've passed by here a thousand times and decided it was finally time to give the pizza a fair shot. I got a plain cheese slice, which was large, but reminded me of cafeteria pizza in middle school. I also tried the "famous garlic knots", and they were actually too garlicky for me. Scala's is much better. read more

I don't know how this place is getting 4 stars, cause it is decidedly one of the worst pizza shops, and they are not alone in the category, in the area. I believe the reviewers who patronize on a regular basis, have never tasted real pizza. This is just a tasteless glob of baked dough, with Hunt's Canned Tomatoe Sauce, and Cheese. I decided to stop by Luigi's for a pie based off of a Yelp review from a former Queensinite. I've had my fair share of really good Queens pizza and had yet to find one in MV that lived up to my standards. I ordered my large pie, 1/2 cheese & pepperoni..was told it would be 15-20 min. I arrived in about 20, but it wasn't ready yet. Waited close to another 20 before I was able to go home and devour this bad boy. For a large pie I thought it was on the smaller side. Maybe Queens makes bigger pies? Luigi's makes a decent pie though. Sauce isn't overly salted, dough is chewy/crispy, but I didn't get the melty, gooey cheese pull that I love. I have yet to try many of the other pizzerias in the area, but I might stop by Luigi's again for a sit-down slice. This way I can try it right out of the oven. read more

Great Pizza. Recently I had to get some last minute appetizers for a family party... I had spoke to the fellas over at Luigi's about ordering some of the delicious mini beef patties. They said it would be no problem to get an order of 50 together. The next day, I completely forgot to call well in advance to confirm my order and with only 30 min before the party, they got my order together and even gave me a discount for volume order. The patties were a hit at the party. They have some great buffalo wings also. I currently live in Fleetwood, where the average person will usually trumpet Joe's Pizza, Scala or Pizza Pizza... and while they are all good, when we want a pie delivered, we now call Luigi's. read more

I live nearby and this place is reliable for good stuff, although I'd say some days they have an off day when things are meh, but other days they are phenomenal. My usual thing is a mushroom slice, and some days like I said, it is superb: nice crispy crust, flavorful mushrooms and sauce; other days, the mushrooms are a tad rubbery like they've been sitting there, which is why they get a 4. Their chickpea salad is amazing! It's my fave thing. Years ago, I got out of the hospital and wanted some food, so I got their spaghetti & meatballs. I thought I wasn't hungry, but I ended up eating the whole thing because it was plain ole good comfort food. Service is always very friendly and quick. If you eat in, they heat up your pizza and bring it to you, which is just a really nice touch that most places don't bother with. read more

I used this place for catering and Ray was really great. He was with me on the order 100%. They have a good selection of stuff and offer gluten free items, which is a plus for pizza fans who cannot have flour in their diet. Make sure when you call for catering that you talk to Ray or ask them to write the order for you and get back to you. While the staff is great, they don't know how the catering prices. Ray will take care of it though. I highly recommend if you're having a party to do catering and get their discounted prices. Even if you have 10 people it helps. These guys are simply FANTASTIC! We had our son's 4th birthday a pizza party and these guys delivered (no pun intended). Everyone absolutely loved the pizza and ESPECIALLY the garlic knots. I really like Luigi's overall. The pizza is consistently good, and the staff is super nice. They have a chicken & hot peppers slice that is delicious. I usually get the eggplant slice or chicken & vegetable slice. Try the chicken empanadas, also great. Great local pizza place. I have ordered the pizza , salad, and garlic bread on many nights. I always request to cook pizza well done and comes perfectly cooked. The crust is thin and crispy. The salad is nothing special but the garlic bread is made with real garlic and dripping butter. Luigi's usually has coupons in the mail which always is a plus. Finally delivery is always fast.
