When I stopped in, it was clear the majority of customers in here were regulars. An ask of the usual was commonly said. The omlette was good. Toast and potatoes were fine. The potatoes were more undercooked, wish they were crispier. If I'm in the area, I could see giving this another shot. read more

Love the Gigi's bowl for breakfast! Staff always friendly, clean and fast service. We stop often.

Tables are open during covid, place is clean, bathrooms smell like bleach, service is great. However, the mold on the bottom of my cheeseburger bun turned me off. The fries are not fresh cut, tasted fine but advertised as fresh cut, so disappointing. The server did not charge me for the burger but it just makes you feel uneasy about the rest of what you might be eating. I asked the older couple next to us what's good and he replied "we don't know... the pepsi is". Lol that should have been my clue to leave. Try breakfast maybe! read more

Known for there amazing desserts. Fresh, homemade and huge. Plus a big selection. Dinner is ok, nothing crazy. Good pancakes. I sat near the kitchen, my mistake, as I work in food service. I watched the cook wear the same gloves, cooking, and touching no nonfood items, then play with his phone, and not change gloves. He's young, but obviously has no good mentor. read more

Skip dinner. Go for dessert. Dinner was just meh. Chicken n biscuits was gravy from a mix, potato from a mix, no real veggies. Burger was decent and presented well. Off-menu special pork roast was good. But all that aside just stop and look at the homemade desserts in the case *before* you sit down. It's nothing from a box or a mix and it's all very good. Fresh is an understatement. Pies and cakes alike were both delicious and beautiful. It's not ADA compliant for sure. If you want to get to the back room where actual tables are you have to navigate a maze of narrow space between a weird waist-high model train thingy on the floor and the backs of customers trying to enjoy their meals. Uncomfortable to say the least for both the customer seated there and the peple trying to get by. All seating is booth seating unless you can complete this gauntlet - not possible for most wheelchairs or even walkers. read more

It was alright. Service was polite. I think maybe this is more grab a slice of pie or some kind of pastry and coffee place, however. It looked like that was really the specialty there. I did appreciate that you could get a half size omelette since that was more our speed vs a ginormous omelette, but the steak in it was over done and not very seasoned. Also the entire table ordered hash browns but we all got home fries. It wasn't worth it to us to mention it since we didn't want to deal with the hassle. read more

Recently visited Gigi's... I had a red velvet cake for takeout several months ago, and the dessert is the best. Recently, though, I went for dinner. I ordered the "Mouthful" burger and fries, and a cup of chili. While the chili had decent flavor, it was lukewarm. Needed to be hotter. I get the impression that it was microwaved before it was brought to my table. The burger was also good, but be forewarned, you'll end up eating this with a fork. Way too much coleslaw on the burger, and it was put underneath the burger, which soaked the bottom of the bun. I wanted to like this burger, but the ratios seemed to be off. Overall, I'd go back... mostly because Corry doesn't have much to offer in terms of eateries or diners. But I'm guessing this is a place much better for coffee and breakfast or coffee and dessert. read more

AMAZING FOOD!!!! We found this gem on a whim, and so glad we did! I ordered the chicken and biscuits, huge portion of creamy white meat over large biscuits and mashed potatoes, YUM! My son had the Hickory burger with fries, he devoured the whole thing! My husband ordered the Thanksgiving meal...the plate was overflowing with food! It all tasted delicious! The service by the way was incredible! Tammy our waitress was so hospitable, made us feel right at home. We highly recommend this place!! read more

Went for breakfast yesterday. Good food, I had the sausage gravy over biscuits( they could have been a bit fluffier, seemed supplier bought, not home made), gravy was good. Wife had a veggie and egg wrap , that was very good. Service was top notch. Prices were affordable . We will go again. read more

The waitress was flighty. She didn't know the menu. I ordered shepherd's pie and what came out was beef stew with mashed potatoes, and then topped with cheese. No Shepherd's pie I've ever had, has had cheese. There were mashed potatoes and also chunks of potatoes from the beef stew, but the mashed potatoes were definitely instant mashed potatoes. Looks good from the outside but service and food leaves a lot to be desired. I have never been to a breakfast place where they actually tried to microwave poached eggs. You read that right, microwaved poached eggs! My order was sent back 3 times for the yolks being rock hard on one side and not cooked on the other. All I could hear from the kitchen was ' ding, ding, ding'. If you can,t even cooked a basic poached egg or breakfast, just close the doors. It's going to happen sooner or later. My wife and I were pleased with our food and I liked the interior. They have a pretty extensive menu of choices, from standard American fare to all sorts of diner food. I had an open face sandwich, and my wife had a grilled cheese and fries. We even had some chocolate shakes which were very good. I would go back when I'm passing through Corry. read more

Our family stopped here for breakfast on a Wednesday morning, and I'm so glad we did! The review about the microwaved food is completely off-base. My husband ordered Diner Doughnuts (2 for $1.99) which were fried to order--delicious! And they serve the holes, too! He says the review could just stop there. My 5-year old said about his Mickey-shaped chocolate chip pancake, "they showed who's boss with this pancake!" It had that wonderful crispy outside that only seasoned flat-top cooks can achieve. The sausage links and patties were both tasty, but I'd recommend the links in snappy casings. My daughter ordered French toast and devoured it. My eggs were cooked perfectly (over-easy). And the coffee is bottomless. I have to say that I did hear the "ding, ding, ding" from the back--each time an order was ready to come out of the kitchen. I'd say that's pretty standard diner operation. Friendly service in a clean restaurant means we'll be back, probably for the homemade pies. The ONLY issue we could find was that the men's room was out of paper towels. read more

Stopped in before some errands in Corry. Wanted to try the place for a while and it didn't disappoint. We got cheeseburger chowder and tomato basil ravioli soup to start. This soup definitely didnt taste like it was from a red and white can! The wife had an open faced meatloaf, it was super tender, a little sweet, and sat on top of super fresh thick sliced bread and beside a pIle of mashed potatoes. I had the western burger, with smoked ham, grilled onions and double cheddar. I was delighted to find I could order it medium rare, and it was medium rare perfection. You know the burger is good when it runs down to your wrist! The breakfast portion of the menu looked great as did the pies in the case. It had the added appeal of that old school diner with extra chrome. We can't wait to make it a brunch stop on the bikes later this year. read more

So this was my first time here and it won't be my last. Not only was the food fabulous and pricing very reasonable, but the service was the best I've been to in a very long time. Our waitress name was Lindsey and she was amazing. I highly recommend this diner and if you are lucky enough to have Lindsey your whole meal will be enjoyable from start to finish. She is obviously a major asset to this dinner! Save room for the homemade desserts! ! read more

We get a table at noon, family finally decides on our order. Waitress starts to take our order and then tells us they only serve breakfast on Sunday. No sign, no mention. What a waste of time and very odd. At least only hand out a breakfast menu, not the whole thing. Changing to 4 since owner apologized for having a sign up. read more

Absolutely the worst service ever! Stood at the door for at least 5 minutes before someone sat us, another 10 before tshe brought us a menu and took our drink order. 1o minutes later another waitress came to get our food and drink order and we told her we had already ordered drinks, she said the other waitress forgot about them. Well, 15 minutes later it was apparent she had also. She saidbit was a crazy day (Memorial Day) but at that particular time there were only 5 tables that had couples in them. Iced tea was tasteless and the fries were cold. Husband got the meatloaf sandwich and he said it had a strange taste. Needless to say, we will not be eating there again. We would of gotten a better meal and sevice at the Dairy Queen a quarter mile away. You're establishment is only as good as the people you have working for you and Gigi's falls short in all departments. read more

One of tonight's specials was open faced rib eye with mashed potatoes and corn. The portion was huge. The rib eye was dry and cold - thank goodness for boiling hot gravy. The entree was a bust. The meal was redeemed by the giant slice of delicious homemade pie. The staff was friendly and attentive & the atmosphere is quiet and cozy. read more

Not even worth 1 star the waitress was very rude we ordered milkshakes and she told us that she could not make them because she had a big group coming in and she stated she did not know when we would get them or if we would get them she then proceed to call me names in front of my child ... the experience was horrible .. read more

I have eaten here before and have been treated fairly and pleasantly. Until today - I think they have a waitress that is totally clueless on how to treat customers or didn't want to work today. When I asked about desserts I was told " We have cake and pie, it costs $3.95 a piece and they are written on the white board down there. You can go look for yourself and decide if you want something." Ok was she telling me I needed exercise before I splurged on dessert or just being rude or did not know what they had?. I have never been told to leave my seat to go to the opposite end of an eatery to see for myself what is for dessert. Honey - learn your menu better or go look for yourself and go back to the customer and tell them. I left you a small tip, I wish I hadn't left any at all. read more
