I started coming to GIGI about 3 years ago for my daughter's eyebrows. She had them waxed and the person messed up her brows and they were severely uneven. As you can imagine for a teenage girl this is just unacceptable and she was very upset about the outcome. Well we were referred to GiGi and right away she recommended that my daughter wait a few weeks and let the brows grow in more and then come back. We did just that and let me just say GiGi fixed them brows and needless to say my daughter was very happy! I found out she does lash extensions and because I was familiar with her I chose her services. She does a nice job, but the problem is the price goes up and up each time and I am not told until after she's already done what the price will be. My advice would to let her know your price range and what you are wanted to spend total. Also remember this is her own personal business and she can and will make her own schedule. If you follow her on FB you can message her about availability, and if you have a set time she will be there. Lastly, if you are wanting lashes, make an appointment so your time slot is secured. She does welcome walk ins but in my opinion, if you are getting lashes just make an appointment. read more

Gigi's is a great place to get your eyebrows done, BUT you have to be aware that she's the owner of the store. So she comes and goes as she pleases. Meaning the store is never open when it's suppose too. I've attempted to see her twice and I live 20 mins from the store. As you can Imagine how frustrated I get when her store is locked/closed. She needs to have a Twitter or something so if she's going to be away she'll tweet it and people won't look stupid coming to her store and realizing it's closed. I've only had my eyebrows done, but she does a great job! I've had my eyebrows threaded before & for years have been getting them waxed. I prefer the way Gigi threads them! She shaped them nicely and the price is less than I've payed for waxing! My only complaint is you can't rely on the posted business hours. read more

GiGi is extremely rude an unprofessional. Her prices are way too high and she has very poor customer service. I was a loyal customer to her and had my lashes done by her at LEAST 5 times! Not to mention driving all the way to Racine from Kenosha and she is not understanding when it comes to a mom not being able to have baby sister. Her energy is very negative. She still charged me $65 dollars even though I wasn't able to make it. I've spent at least $1000 dollars getting my lashes done by her. PLUS TIPS! I've put a lot of money in her pocket and she doesn't seem to care. Would NOT recommend her at all. She is incredibly misunderstanding and I will never be going back. I'm so happy with my new eyebrows! They are nearly symmetrical (tricky because they've been asymmetrical for years), have a nice arch, and they still have beautiful length! You simply can't beat this place for the quality, affordability, and convenience. It seems that threading allows for more precise, quicker results than waxing plus no weird creams applied = hopefully no breakouts. read more

I went to Gigi's and got my eyebrows threaded with my sister and niece who's been coming here for years. I sat down in the chair for around 5 min and my brows were done. I played for it ($10) gave her my money($20) she took it and started on the next customer. I explained to her that I gave her a 20 dollar bill and she said "No you gave me a 10 dollar bill!". Long story short I dint back down, she yelled I yelled she gave me my change and said my family and I are not welcome in her business again. I also suggested that she look at her cameras Gigi refused and said "umm... the cameras dont work". MORAL OF THE STORY IF YOU'RE A NEW CUSTOMER SHE WILL TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. read more

I decided to give this place based on its reviews and because I've wanted to try threading my eyebrows for a while and my typical waxing girl was on maternity leave. I unfortunately was highly disappointed in the eyebrow threading I receive me though. First of all, to call this place a spa is not accurate. It's far from a spa. She has appliances for sale next to the chair where you are supposed to get your service done. I told her I wanted my eyebrow shape to stay the same and I wanted it cleaned up. Well, I didn't get that. My left eyebrow is now significantly shorter than my right and the shape is not what I wanted, and on is thinner than the other. Hours of operation are incorrect. Go to the store- hours listed on the door says the shop opens at 2 pm..... 2:07 and no one is there yet. Finally walk in only to find it's dirty- and she was less than sympathetic about the fact that she was late to opening her own business. I understand everyone has an off day, however typically in customer service one tries to make this up to the customer... yeah that didn't happen. I will however say that my brows look great, but unfortunately customer service is high up on my priority list. Here's a tip- offer someone something when YOU screw up. A dollar off goes a long way... or two bucks off your next visit... something to make it right by the customer! I guarantee you will make a lot more money off the amount of people you are able to retain. Many people and place provide your service... Today you lost someone who would come see you a few times a month, and instead I will take my business somewhere that values their customer's time and wants loyalty. read more

I'm very disappointed in my service I live in Milwaukee WI and was down in Racine WI visiting while she did my eyebrows ok my lashes was not so good she barley used enough lashes and then charged me $35.00 when Milwaukee charge $22.00 I got them done Friday they was coming off Monday my lashes usually last 2 weeks but not with her. Komal at Gigi's Spa is the only person I will EVER let touch my eyebrows. I've been going to her for eyebrow threading ever since she had a kiosk at Regency mall, so about ten years now. She truly has a gift for beauty and precision, and I am continually receiving compliments on my eyebrows (yes, people actually compliment me on my eyebrows!). The wait time varies. She is the only employee/owner there, but is worth waiting for. I believe she also allows you to make appointments if need be. What is also amazing is that her prices are extremely reasonable. I've paid more at places in Milwaukee (I.e. Exquisite) to have it done so poorly that I regret ever going anywhere else but Gigi's Spa. It is true that sometimes she comes in late or is closed for vacation, but she does have her cell phone number posted on the door. She's also the only employee there, so I would suggest cutting her some slack. I always just call her before I go to make sure she's there I seriously wouldn't go anywhere else.
