Great prices, great service, & great food were all available at this adorable water-side dining. The pizza was good but the salad was amazing. The staff knew we had tickets to the boat on the lake and made sure we were done on time. They also told us we could take our leftovers onto the boat (which was true!) so we didn't have to rush.

Stopped in on a Saturday evening, it was quite busy. The restaurant is small inside with maybe 10 tables, and in the summer and spring they have outdoor seating, again only a few tables. However, they have about 8-10 seats at the bar and we opted to sit there as there was a 50-60 minute wait for a table. The service was quick and efficient. The bartender was quick to ask what drinks we would like and water, plates and silverware were provided immediately. I had a Chardonnay and my boyfriend had a Utica Club. To start we had the calamari. It was okay, but not the best I've ever had and would probably not order again. The sauce on the side was delicious though and the peppers were a nice touch. For mains, I got the beat and burrata salad, which was delicious. Perfect for summer and had lots of flavor but simple ingredients. My boyfriend got the Sams Favorite pizza. He enjoyed it and I tried a slice and agreed it was delicious. Cute little spot, quick service and will definitely be back when we're in the area!

This was our first time at Gilda's and we agreed we would return. I got there early to snag a table, they only take reservations for five or more. I got a table quickly without any waiting, which was surprising with how busy the town was. The place was cozy it's not huge inside but they did have a few seating outside which was nice for a hot day like today. We all ordered sangrias, they were great(no spirits here). We all shared small plates and ordered our own pizzas. The fries and calamari were seasoned and cooked perfectly. I loved the different sauces that came with them. I would get these again. My friends enjoyed the gnocchi, it took awhile for it to come out(waitress said they were training), we were not in any rush it was our girls night. They enjoyed it. Two of us ordered Sam's Favorite and one Blueberry. My friend split a slice of her sister's blueberry pizza with me, it was different but not in a bad way. We thought it was good. The different flavors complement each other. I enjoyed the Sam's Favorite, loved the kick of heat from the fresno peppers. We were full but made a little room for dessert lol, all three order the pot de crème. I will never turn down chocolate lol, it was delicious. Overall the food was good and friendly service, I can see this as date night spot for my husband and I. I enjoy a place like this because the menu is not overwhelming.

What initially appealed to me most about this establishment was not only its 4.5 stars on Yelp, but also its alcohol menu, which is flush with local beers and Italian wines (two observations that are probably related). So I made it a point to check this out during our trip to Skaneatles. What I found on my visit was the best meal I had in Skaneatles. We began with the arancini and veal meatballs. The former were large, well formed, and crispy - the best arancini I ever had. The meatballs had great flavor and were light in texture (on account of their being a little on the bready side). Both came with more sauce than necessary, which was great for dipping pizza crust. Regarding the pizza, we ordered two different pies: pepperoni and hot sopressada. Both were exceptional, with a bit of char on the crust and crispness on the bottom. The sopressada had a lively heat that was balanced by the sweetness of the honey. The quality of the pepperoni was a bit more difficult to pin down, but it ranks in the top 5 pepperoni pies I've ever had. The service was also fast, friendly, and attentive, which was all the more appreciated because we came in with our two kids. All in all, this place is awesome!

2025 Update: Gilda's remains among the best the area has to offer in no nonsense high quality food this time served by Danny who is a force of nature behind the bar quickly and attentively meeting the needs of its patrons. We were there for lunch and the food continues to be a cut above the usual.

We were visiting the town of Skaneateles and wanted some lunch. Punched up Yelp and Gilda's came up and looked interesting. We went over when they just opened. It was a hip little spot. Small amount of tables with a bar area where we sat. They don't serve spirits but had a great beer and wine selection. They had a brown ale that was fantastic. Service was very good. The place went from being virtually empty to full in a span of 20 minutes but the staff handled it well. The food was simply fabulous. I got the beet salad with Burrata and a side of the veal meatballs in a simple tomato sauce. The meatballs were fabulous and the sauce was perfect. We also got the twice cooked fries which were awesome. The homemade ketchup was UNBELIEVABLE and my wife got a fried chicken sandwich which was juicy and crispy on a nice bun All in all an excellent place that you should not hesitate to try.

Very creative pizzas and delicious sharable small plates. Small restaurant that has some outdoor seating. It wasn't a warm day out but they still had the AC cranking and was told there was no way to turn it down because the whole building is on the same AC so it was blasting on us so that was a bummer but the food was good. Waitress never came back to check on us either.

Was pleasantly surprised to see they have updated their menu, brining my review from a 4 to a 5. A very limited gluten free menu has been revamped and now includes a number of gluten free options. The service was great and l the atmosphere is always cozy.

Delicious pizza! Paired well with red wine and great service. Small outdoor seating area but very attentive and quick. Tried the twice fried French fries which came with delicious dipping sauces. Will be back! Super cute place

Stopped in for a little lunch & drinks. It's small inside but comfortable, as with most places here in Skaneateles it gets busy. The service was great and food was fun and flavorful. Lots of items on the menu that definitely deserve a try. We look forward to returning for the pizza! 4 's

If you're into craft pizza and a bit of an uppity experience, Gilda's is for you. There was a special offer for a special meal for two for about $90, so that gives you a bit of information up front. We ordered a small side salad for $8 and had a pizza, which does have delicious crust, but doesn't have many toppings. I asked if they had Ranch dressing and was looked at like I had two heads, so just know it's red vinaigrette, people. Interestingly, they also have Mexican Coca-Cola, which is definitely superior to ours. The best time to go is for an early dinner so you can eat outside. It's a great view of the town and is really nice if you can grab a shady spot.

Had a delicious arugula salad with house made dressing and hot soprosato pizza with a honey drizzle so good. The beer selection was great, recommend the mango wheat beer Our servers were as attentive as they are sweet! Thanks again!

Gilda's is very much a one of a kind restaurant that elevates the small plate in such a delicious way. While I grew up in the area, I remember when this was a sushi restaurant, and have come back a few times whilst visiting the area. On my last trip, I made sure to go back as I remember fondly all of the delicious food here. Not overly pretentious, but can be a bit of an upscale night if you choose, the waitstaff gives excellent recommendations, the kitchen is quick with food and the drinks are quite excellent. Choosing a special offering of the corn and sausage pizza to share, that was a great recommendation. The crust was chewy and crisp, and there was a lot of great sausage bites with tasty corn. I loved the mushroom bruschetta appetizer as well. Really deliciously cooked medley of mushrooms over baguette with some cheese on top. Lots of great earthy flavors with a great bite. Their take on a caesar was a nice split plate as well! Loved the caesar and the roasted chickpeas! They don't do reservations for less than six people, so get her a little early, enjoy a cocktail, and eat some really unique and delicious food!

Best burger in town period. Especially for the price. Pro-tip: always ask for rare because medium rare is well done.

She brought us Cucumber water which was absolutely delicious. She told us about specials and about ordering tapas. I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. It was a fantastic pour and the light fruitiness of the wine was perfect for the big flavors of the food we were about to explore. Bacon Wrapped Jalepenos. Sometimes I can't handle spice but I'm so glad we ordered these. They were balanced perfectly with all the ingredients and the poblano sour cream dip so that you could taste the flavors and a little heat but it cooled quickly. These "poppers" were crispy and way better than battered and fried! Grilled Asparagus Aranchini. If you don't like Asparagus, try them anyway. It is not an overpowering flavor in this dish. I usually eat aranchini with a tomato sauce but the Lemon Beurre Blanc it was served with was absolute perfection. Shrimp & Grits. Perfectly cooked shrimp topped the most delicious cheesy Grits. Bacon and Scallions put this dish right over the top. Portobello & Truffle Flatbread. Portobello mushrooms, goat cheese, Truffle oil, and arugula. Flavor Bomb! We had our eye on dessert too but apparently we ordered too much food. We were both so stuffed! Marianne checked in with us several times and kept refilling our waters before they were needed. She was one of the best servers I've had in a long time. It had been many years since I've been to Laci's. I can assure you I will go back much sooner this time.

Our first visit was in January and we've been back 2 more times already. The main dining room is down stairs. The bar area upstairs seems very lively and inviting as well, and I've heard there's patio seating we want to try in the late spring. Service was excellent and very attentive. We loved everything we tried. You can do things traditional tapas style or you can go the appetizer and entree route. We had the calamari to start and some cocktails. For our entrees we each ordered the "feature" of the evening -- my fiance got the steak and I got the salmon. My fiance is pretty 50/50 on how good his steak experiences are in restaurants and he was very satisfied with the entree he had. My salmon cakes were SO good, everything tasted very fresh. The server also did a great job recommending a white wine to pair with my meal. We finished off with our dessert, I had the flourless chocolate torte and my fiance had (I can't recall exactly) a banana cream cheese churro I think? The desserts were amazing every time we've gone. We've had more chances to try other tapas items, the arancini is delicious as well. Also of note was that we had a good group dining experience here in February for a family members birthday. Overall if you haven't tried this spot make sure you do!

However, did love the elevated feel of a typical American bistro. We thought the service could've been more attentive, but improved as the evening progressed. Our waitress was super nice and was helpful in explaining the menu specials and answering any questions we had. Most notably on the menu, the NY strip was a perfect medium rare. We opted to get the 4 jumbo shrimp on the side, which we thought retained a nice snap when we bit into it. It was also well seasoned, while still displaying its freshness. The fries complemented the steak, but was too well done for our liking. Our other entree, the lobster mac and cheese, had a nice cheese pull. We liked the added roasted tomatoes in the baked mac and cheese, which gave it a necessary acidity that countered the creamy, cheesy roux. For our appetizer, we chose the meat and cheese board, which was really solid. Appreciated the waitress explaining the selection, as well as the addition of a sour cherry jam and pickles on the side. This gave us a lot of mix and match options (64 to be exact), and we also liked how it came with charred/toasted bread. Finally, we wrapped up with a chocolate peanut butter parfait and key lime pie. Both were really good (get both if possible, but we liked the latter more).

Very polite, knowledgeable of the menu items, and let us know about any specials happening. My family ordered a salad and Vin Blanc Mussels to share. The mussels were really good! The sauce paired well with the seafood and was savory. Not only that, but you could dip the bread that came along with the mussels into the sauce and eat it, which was even better. The salad was just fine, nothing special about it. I ordered a Pork Milanese for myself. My parents ordered a Shrimp Scampi and Ahi Tuna Burger. They said that the scampi was decent, though they did wish there were a few more shrimp and that its sauce was a slightly stronger, since they thought it was a tad too light. They also said the tuna burger was kind of plain, but otherwise alright. My Pork Milanese dish was unfortunately overcooked. When it got served to me, at first glance, I genuinely thought it was burnt to a crisp. I decided to eat it anyways instead of asking about its quality, since it was already pretty late at night, near closing time. The pork's outer breading was kind of too hard. While the inside of the meat was better, in my opinion, it was still too firm, and didn't have much juice/oil inside it. I feel that the pricing for some of our dishes were too much, while other price charges were more reasonable. The water we were given also cost money to drink, which we hadn't realized until we were given the bill. Our experience with this restaurant was decent, but I think some aspects maybe could've been better.
